Theory on how those big guys died out: hundreds of millions of years ago the aliens sent Gigan to do a scouting mission in the hollow earth and when he discovered the existence of these things instead of retreating Gigan disobeyed his orders and pulled an Attack On Titan

9:26 It's probably been noted before, but this isn't all that true. Crocodiles past a certain age cease to replace their teeth, among other signs of aging (including becoming more vulnerable to disease). They very much do die of old age on a regular basis, at least in captivity. Usually dying of things other than aging is true of animals in general in the wild.
I feel like true death from old age is usually organ failure or cancer due to the weathering of DNA and cells. Loosing their teeth is definitely a sign of aging but really they starve to death before their organs give out. They are quite an efficient organism in that aspect having evolved for their "lifespan" to be longer than their bodies physical capacity to support them (But people who arent familiar with this stuff do tend to equate that to immortality which isnt even close to true)
@@orchidraindrops crocodilians do not chew their food, so losing their teeth does not prevent them from eating. It just makes it harder to grab things, and makes them unable to tear off chunks from prey that is too big to swallow whole (and prey that size makes up a minority of their diet anyway). Point being, I recall no study indicating old crocodilians typically die of starvation. Heck, plenty still have some teeth when they die of old age.
@@Ryodraco I was thinking more they couldnt catch or kill their food, but i guess in captivity they wouldnt be doing that anyways they can be given as small of food chunks as is needed. I hadnt thought that through
You know, what if that humungous thing was Doug's ancestor and probably due to its massive, unsustainable size, its species gradually evolved to support a smaller body such as Doug to survive
If the body of this creature looks like a reptile and the skull looks like a mammal, then we could say that this creature looks more like a Permian Synapsid. They even have species of carnivores with large canines, which resemble this giant animal. These beings lived long before dinosaurs and crocodilians existed. It would make sense that they would have become "extinct" a long time ago.
Goji I very much appreciate your attention to detail. You have very little to go off and actually put the effort to make what you’re saying interesting and educational not like the most other channels that cover topics like yours do filler, appreciated that I can actually watch a good video.
Everyone seems to forget the skullcrawlers. That large skull plus a rib cage near the head and a extra long wip like tail with few bones for a pair of leg fits the characteristics of a skullcrawler. What if the skullcrawlers seen in skull island movie where just juveniles and hatchlings, and the skeleton seen in new empire were the adultforms
I love the dying out theory just because these things were probably one of the first in hollow earth back on an earth that had WAY more radiation and it was easy to sustain then. As the earths radiation lessened the bigger ones just went away.
Your investigation into the colossal skeleton in "Godzilla vs. Kong" unveils a mystery of epic proportions, offering insights into its massive size and enigmatic past, leaving us eager for more revelations from the MonsterVerse.
5 questions that could be great ideas for topics in the future for episodes: 1:Which one out of these 4 iconic jurassic (I-rex, Rexy, The spino, and Blue) would be the best at surviving/adapting to Peter Jacksons Skull island? 2: who would win if you took every single godzilla from all eras and put them in a battle royal (except earth for obvious reasons)? 3: What if godzilla never existed in the MonsterVerse? 4: would monsterverse godzilla stand a chance against SCP-001 when day breaks? 5: If godzilla didn't have his atomic breath in any of the monster verse movies, would he have survived without it? Love your Vids my Favs are T-Rex vs Paleo, History on Kongs and V-rex's, Godzilla and Kongs reproductive methods and organs, and Ark giga vs Isla nublar/sorna
An SCP reference in a Monsterverse video? That _would_ be interesting though, SCP-001 (When Day Breaks), SCP-682, maybe SCP-173 but definitely SCP-096, SCP-3000 and SCP-1000 would have interesting reactions with the Monsterverse.

(3:19) Should've used Ayers Rock "Called Uluru, or Ayer's Rock, this giant is a monolith 348 meters (1,142 feet) high, 3.6 kilometers (2.2 miles) long, and 9.4 kilometers (5.8 miles) around. It is the largest single rock known in the world."
Godzilla earth would look like a gecko next to this thing. Plus the skull is mammalian, similar to that of a bear. I propose a gigantic jormangundr bear serpent
Hey Goji Center, I had some ideas for using God of War content in future videos. There’s plenty of material for 10 Ways to die videos given just how many monsters there are in the franchise. There could be a video on if Kratos could take down the Monsterverse Titans. It’s true he’s defeated bigger creatures in the past but none of them had the unique abilities of Godzilla and crew. If he has too much trouble fighting them one on one, he has the option to have Atreus fight with him, which would give him the option to call in Fenrir and the World Serpent for aid. I’d also love to see a battle analysis between Cronos and the Monsterverse Titans considering he’s 4 times taller than Godzilla. When it comes to Godzilla it may be a similar situation to the Rumbling video where bigger isn’t always better since Cronos’s size will just make him a bigger target for Godzilla’s heat ray. The flying titans like Rodan and Mothra darting around him doing hit and run attacks and Kong fighting Cronos with his axe would be particularly cool to see since Kong already fights like a scaled up version of Kratos. Ghidorah can blast him with energy beams without even getting close and he also has an advantage that even if Cronos caught and tore him apart, Ghidorah could just regenerate.
Lore Kratos stopped being pressed by Atlas who holds up the cosmos. None of the Monsterverse Titans can really do anything to Kratos. Unless it’s gameplay Kratos.
The film director probably was just like *”Hey it’d be really cool if Kong walked over a giant skeleton bridge like in Ice Age 3!”* And didn’t think about the insane lore that would follow it lol
Not fully sure how I feel about adding something like this to the mv, I love world building just this might be a tad on the extreme side to make sense for the established cannon but if sometime in the future we get some backstory or information to not make this as confusing as it is then im fully happy with that, that size is absolutely wild tho, thanks for the breakdown Goji Center!
It’s about the size of Godzilla Earth, so I there is at least precedent for it in the larger Godzilla canon Edit: VOID GHIDORRA, Earth is only twice as tall as Legendary Godzilla, I thought he was way bigger for some reason lol

Love that you guys finally made the video!!!! 😊 SHIMO legit looked like a joke next to it plus the skeleton kind of makes me think of The World Serpent
You should do a video based on Shin Godzilla again, but the topic should be: How would shin Godzilla work in the monsterverse? Talk about shin Godzilla abilities and capabilities. Three different types of enemies for him and what forms will he need to defeat his opponents.
i have a theory: the mega titans could be giant rat style titans because they have a mammalian skull, low posture and a tail as big/bigger as their body
I love stuff like this and makes me glad to see they remain mostly unexplained in canon. The fact that structures like these are kept mysterious and has people just guessing and theorizing what the creature could have been like is the best and fascinating part about these things. Sure they could reveal a mega titan and have it wreak havoc on the world but I personally like them being handled like this more

That’s what they get for being an a#### series.
No... The skull is about 1.71x bigger than Godzilla Earth. Earth comes in at 984 feet tall, and this skull is 1685 feet, so about 1.71x the size of Earth Godzilla. But yeah rounded down its 1.5x the size.

Don’t mean to rain on your parade but if you watched the video the novel states they lived at some point soooo
That's the consequence of adding things in just "because." If it stands out, people are going to discuss or question it. You don't watch Game of Thrones for a random footguard soldier to have a sword of valerian steel. People see that and will ask what his importance is, where he's from, if there's something further down the line for him. It's one thing if it's small, maybe it can be excused as a production error. But a skeleton of this size in a universe where it's all about giant, destructive monsters? And it's bigger than all of them combined? And it's dead, which means it was alive at some point? I'm not a Monster Universe fan or anything, but come on.

Theory on how those big guys died out: hundreds of millions of years ago the aliens sent Gigan to do a scouting mission in the hollow earth and when he discovered the existence of these things instead of retreating Gigan disobeyed his orders and pulled an Attack On Titan
And it failed miserably...
@@kirasatoshi905 He did at least manage to take down a few of them

Well gigan has the tools for it since He also has some "grapling hooks"
If it took on a more Mammalian, specifically Canine, morphology, this thing probably inspired the legend of Fenrir, or if it indeed was more Reptilian, if it was more snakelike, it could have inspired Jormungandr.
as someone said before jörmungandr's boogers are bigger than that thing you are heavily downplaying jörmungandr size
@@carizmo2805, I am saying it could have inspired the legend, not that this thing *was* Jormungandr.
Yeah, while the skeleton itself does have a reptilian shape, I noticed that the skull looks like that of a wolf. The morphology of the skull looks more canine than reptile. So what if this gargantuan creature was a flying mammal like reptile.
This is the best explanation for this Monstrous Titan!
8:20 He really is a Crocodilian!
Every detail about this Titan was explained, which makes a lot of sense!
No such giant organism can walk under such tremendous weight like a crocodile walks. So this creature mostly would be crawling or Slythering monster like the World Serpent from God of WAR game

Ice age 3 and GxK are the same movie:
-Giant Skeleton Bridge that links two parts of the world.
-One threat is a colossal white creature, that is tamed and ridden by one of the mammalian protagonists at the end of the movie.
-Said white creature is driven to kill by a pointy object that was taken from them by a mammalian creature that is much smaller than itself.
-Also, when the giant white creature is revealed, they come out of a cave.
-The giant white creature makes a appearance in a volcanic area.
-Another giant lizard-like creature, who is afraid of the giant white creature, allies with the other mammalian protagonists after they scuffle for a while, and at the end of the film, they team up to stop the giant white creature.
-The ice age is mentioned during the movie's runtime.
-Mammalian Protag 'adopts' a child that isn't theirs, ends up going deep underground with them, crossing the aforementioned giant skeleton bridge in the process.

Yeah and it's posture reminds me of Doug

If the body of this creature looks like a reptile and the skull looks like a mammal, then we could say that this creature looks more like a Permian Synapsid. They even have species of carnivores with large canines, which resemble this giant animal. These beings lived long before dinosaurs and crocodilians existed. It would make sense that they would have become "extinct" a long time ago.
Goji I very much appreciate your attention to detail. You have very little to go off and actually put the effort to make what you’re saying interesting and educational not like the most other channels that cover topics like yours do filler, appreciated that I can actually watch a good video.
Basically its Jörmungandr. The serpent of midgard would fit here.
Downplaying Jormungandr it can stretch around the world
World Serpent has boogers bigger than this lol
Jömungandrs spit bigger then this thing
Jörmungandr encircled the Earth, so that it bit upon its tail. If it was wide in proportion, it would have been a lot bigger.
@JamesMC04 no he circled Midgard. Midgard is not the whole earth at all.
MY 1st idea when seeing this & Skaar King's whip was how durable those spinal ligaments are lol
Ty for gving me a new head canon
no the skull crawlers had only two legs but this organism had hip bones suggesting it was a 4 legged creature
Absolutely not, skullcrawlers would not grow that big
Except it couldn’t have been a skullcrawler, the skeleton looks nothing like one
Makes a lot of sense
I love the dying out theory just because these things were probably one of the first in hollow earth back on an earth that had WAY more radiation and it was easy to sustain then. As the earths radiation lessened the bigger ones just went away.
Your investigation into the colossal skeleton in "Godzilla vs. Kong" unveils a mystery of epic proportions, offering insights into its massive size and enigmatic past, leaving us eager for more revelations from the MonsterVerse.
5 questions that could be great ideas for topics in the future for episodes:
1:Which one out of these 4 iconic jurassic (I-rex, Rexy, The spino, and Blue) would be the best at surviving/adapting to Peter Jacksons Skull island?
I think blue would have the only chance, small, agile, fast and intelligent. The rest just aren't powerful enough to compete and can't stay hidden like blue

@@zsan157It’s not a serpent, it had limbs
@@colehamrick6252 fair, it still could’ve been serpentine like though, like a skull crawler
@@zsan157 like another comment said, this could be fenrirs wolf!
Ghidorah can blast him with energy beams without even getting close and he also has an advantage that even if Cronos caught and tore him apart, Ghidorah could just regenerate.
yess i agree
me too
Lore Kratos stopped being pressed by Atlas who holds up the cosmos. None of the Monsterverse Titans can really do anything to Kratos. Unless it’s gameplay Kratos.
It is the chad Dalamadur. He even has arms like the skeleton. Change my mind.
The film director probably was just like *”Hey it’d be really cool if Kong walked over a giant skeleton bridge like in Ice Age 3!”* And didn’t think about the insane lore that would follow it lol
I'm convinced that this is just a Titanus Doug on crack
😂.
Thats what I was thinking
Not fully sure how I feel about adding something like this to the mv, I love world building just this might be a tad on the extreme side to make sense for the established cannon but if sometime in the future we get some backstory or information to not make this as confusing as it is then im fully happy with that, that size is absolutely wild tho, thanks for the breakdown Goji Center!
to me it feels like the people making the movie are doing too much but at the same time its really cool
I'd say that they should keep these gigantic creatures just as relics of the past, and use them to enhance the overall lore.

This may look like a serpent, but a few thousand feet away from the main skeletal structure, you can spot a pile of bones. These could be limbs.
Base on the rib structure, we can exclude serpent from the beginning.
