    I believe you. 40 years ago I was camping in a truck bed and cap with my boyfriend. We put his dog in the cab for overnight. Middle of the night, the dog goes into a frenzy of barking and we heard footsteps outside. So we got out and what we saw has krpt me from EVER going back there. This was east of Hinton Alberta, just inside the Rockies.
    Long story short, we never saw anyone or thing that made the footsteps. What we saw was a 50' high, 1-2' wide shaft of light, in the forest, rise upward and disappear. End of story. We broke camp in record time and got to hell out. Slept in a busy town campground for the rest of that night. Years later I met a man who used to work for the Hinton newspaper and he said they'd had different people come to them with the same experience to report.

    Just now seeing this. I believe you 100%. I had my own experience down in Tx at LBJ National Grasslands. I was camping solo mid week in a remote area where there is woods, game trails, and ponds. All was well until I heard a very odd screech-like scream and then the coyotes went crazy. The area was as quiet as could be other than that odd sound. I called it a night and locked myself into my 5 x 8, wooden square-drop camper. I lay next to my Springfield Armory 10mm semi automatic pistol, and my Smith and Wesson M&P 15 AR with 30 armor piercing rounds. Why? Because I’d watched 100’s of Bigfoot videos and listened to hundreds people’s encounters. For me it was a head game that I needed “play” to go camp solo and face/overcome my fears that I’d developed from all the evidence I’d been watching and listening to. Not 20 minutes of trying to sleep had passed and a rock hit the outside of my camper. I already knew that rock throwing was a behavior of this “thing” and I was immediately in high fear mode. I clutched my pistol and was at the ready , but was blind to what was happening outside. I’d placed lights around the camp, a trip wire with bells to alert me, motion sensor lights by my two windows and NOTHING alleviated my fear. I was thinking how stupid was I to try this. At the same time I couldn’t process that it was actually happening. Then without any sound or warning a bigger projectile hit the roof of my camper. I was frozen in fear. No one was around for miles - I made sure to find an isolated and lonely area to camp. I waited for the next attack. My anticipation was most unwelcome and I waited with white knuckles on my weapon. An hour passed, then two and it was after 1:00 am. I decided to take an anti-anxiety medication that I had on hand to help me sleep. It was so scary to even move toward the other end of the camper to get my med kit and turn on a light. I took it and went back to my defensive position praying the medicine worked quickly. After about an hour I could feel the edge coming off a little and I finally drifted off to sleep. I awoke again at 5:00 am and the medicine had worn off. I was again at the ready with my weapon and waited until the Sun was well up. I creeped out of bed, and just as carefully - but oh so quickly - threw all my gear into the truck and camper and got out of there. I tried to go solo again at a completely different location almost 3 months later (the first incident happened in November 2023). My fear was still with me all evening and night even though no incident occurred this time. I feel like my future camping experiences have been sabotaged by that “thing”. I hope you will share more details of your harrowing experience. I have heard that these things give heed to the Name of Jesus. I’ll keep that in mind:) Take care friend.

    I believe it. There are things that live out there we have never seen or understand. And if a Bear is strong enough to peel the door off your vehicle, we know that other creatures exist which could be in the realm of supernatural. After studying RV life for 4 years the more reluctant I am to go deep into the remote areas alone I am sure some RV' s don't tell everything they see since people might think you are crazy, but in time I hope that bias fades. The world is a mysterious place and we are not the only species to roam this planet.

    There is MORE going on ‘out there’ than any of us can conceive. I’m a total believer and I wasn’t before. A huge relief when out hiking in places that have no cell reception.

    So the tree that had been cut had a trail blaze on it? That would mean it was formerly on a trail. Seemingly easy to find the stump. And you couldn’t find it. Very weird.
    The strangest experience I’ve ever had on a hike was in 2016 in New Hampshire on my thru hike of the AT. Late in the day, hiking alone, as was common for me, I came to realize that I’d been hearing for a few minutes what sounded like a jet engine. I kept looking up through the trees as I walked expecting to see a jet circling overhead-I assumed it would be tight circling since the sound never seemed to change pitch or volume. It sounded like it was right overhead about 500 feet up. This went on for maybe 30 or 45 minutes. Eventually, it just stopped. Didn’t fade. Just stopped. Cell service was decent in this area, so that night I Google mapped my position to see if I’d been close to an airport or a military base. Nothing. I hadn’t thought about this for years until I saw your video.

    • @EKEACRES
      @EKEACRES  2 роки тому +2

      Exactly. A marked tree would neighbor the trail, which I know, so no stump anywhere in that area where it was left me completely at a loss.

    Hey Kev, this is an excellent and informative video. I too wish that you would reveal what happened to you in the woods that night that was so horribly terrifying. I believe that your viewers trust your honesty and sincerity, and would benefit from your firsthand knowledge. There is so much going on that our own government won’t tell us about, that we need truth from outside sources such as yourself. Other than that, I would recommend a large caliber handgun, .357 Magnum and up, as a shotgun inside a van would be too awkward to manipulate inside the van, but would be excellent outdoors or in your home. Anyway, blessings and stay safe out there…. RB

    Even bears run from whatever is coming from the depths of the woods these days. And if there was ever a social contract between the American government and the wild people, then, clearly, that contract has expired. People are disappearing under very peculiar circumstances, and sightings of these wild people are through the roof in number. There’s speculation now that the National Park system was created as habitation for these creatures. But the population of humans world-wide has infringed on that granted sanctuary, and many of these wild ones are angry. I wouldn’t advise anyone to camp without a firearm nowadays… preferably an elephant rifle…

      @@BFHuntress Thank you. I agree, it's pretty scary to think some people are experiencing this. It seems to be mainly out West. versus where I live.

      It was pitch black darkness, even in my van. It was 1 am and I did not want to see it. The sound it bellowed was absolutely loud and unbelievable. Too difficult to explain or believe. Louder than a freight Trains horn.

      No. It was pitch black both outside & in the van, so video would have done nothing.

      I'm not making fun of you Kevin, but machine guns are fully auto. It's all good, we can't all be experts at everything. An AK is just a semi-auto rifle, same as AR's.
