It really is the best Maliek Collins replacement and we definitely need a 0 Tech for a few different packages because I wouldn't be afraid to put Newton on the outside sometimes.
We need a 320lb + 6 4 + in the middle with long arms and can swatt footballs down and not get pushed around control the when you can knock down passes are far better tan a sack or tipped ball back braker for offense
You said the Steelers need a LT but they they already have him, his name is Broderick Jones, they gotta draft a RT (Amarius Mims) to move him back over to his prominent role
As someone who says he is a Giants fan ,how can you justify taking a wide receiver #1 when their O line is HISTORICALLY BAD ? It's extremely difficult for any QB to complete passes to a WR when that QB is buried under 500-600 pounds of defensive players .
First of all I made a thread breaking down the numbers showing that the Giants had the worst pass blocking unit of all time. Second, lineman can be found in any round of the draft and WR is a position that’s positional value has only increased over the years, I currently have it as 3rd behind QB and LT. Third, Malik Nabers is a Ja’marr Chase level talent potentially. Put your faith in Carmen Bracillo who worked wonders with far less talent in LV and take the best player on the board. x.com/mikeforcella/status/1747812214378041833?s=46&t=vDvi3w3K2eMiLUB1x1CJHA
@@thepyloncam Saying that the Giants were the worst pass blocking unit of all time and that WR is the #3 priority position BEHIND LT at #2 certainly is not a very good defense of taking WR over the best LT in the draft ,in fact ,you are making my case for me .
@rodneysisco6364 the giants have invested more too 10 draft capital then any other team going back to 2013. This isn’t a talent issue it’s a coaching issue. Use FA money to sign guards and a swing tackle. You won’t be able to find an impact player like Nabers anywhere else in the draft.
I am extremely low on Coleman. His analytical profile is a massive red flag. The tape has tons of highlight plays but he does not separate, doesn’t particularly do well against man or zone coverage, completely dependent on winning 50/50 balls. Check out the linked tweet to see what I’m talking about.
I respectfully disagree, I do not see Mitchell being anything less than a starter. James Bradberry’s contract has an out this year which the birds will likely take since his play was god awful this year. There is also a potential out in Darius Slay’s contract which I do not believe they take. One of Bradberry or Slay will be let go, my gut says Bradberry. I also am not a fan of the Eagle’s CB depth at all.
Well Agree on Bradberry but Ringo and Ricks are better than any CB in this draft. Rodgers will be the starter at Slot. The CB's in this draft are just guys. year everyone said was a deep CB draft and one was great Witherspoon. One was good Gonzales and one was ok Porter. No one in this draft is on their level@@thepyloncam
@marinasands4319 I very much disagree to be honest. The top corners in this class would be just behind Spoon and Gonzo from last year but would also be much higher than others from last year. I had a first round grade on Porter I still don’t know how he fell. Mitchell is going to test out very very well and is a great coverage corner. I think the top 6 in this class would all be selected well before Ringo to be honest.
Do you agree the pick should be a lineman? Or do you think it should be something else? Other Packers fans were complaining about picking a lineman here.
i really love ur analysis, i love ur analysis so much, i respect how in depth you are with ur Reseach compared to others in the yt draft community circles and even though i disagree with you about a bunch of things i just want to note that i appreciate ur attention to detail. i initially thought the bears ethos would overvalue drake Maye and the commanders would singularly target Celeb. which was interesting cat and mouse, but now all of a sudden, Getsy was fired and Ben Johnson is rumored to be most likely Washingtons head coach so now i think that entire logic is flipped. i think every is wrong about Arizona being locked in at 4 just from a positional value. i don't even really for sure no that a majority of nfl teams agree with the community about Marvin Harrisons value. i think its possible to say he's the best offense skill player in the draft but to say he's the best non QB overall. idk? and from positional value he isnt. so just sitting at 4 and taking him isn't maximizing value. More importantly i think there's 4 QB's to covet and i disagree the most with you and the entire mock draft community is gonna split based on every individual opinion of JJ McCarthy. for me he's QB3 over daniels and my belief in him as a prospect centers around the fact, i don't believe he should be killed because his offense and entire team was built to run the football. He's been as elite a winner as there is historically,, He's a champion. undefeated vs ohio state. he's played in a pro system for 3 years and been stable in high pressure situations and he has the traits like nobody, yes he's raw but if you liked fields, you should like him. i think he goes high and that blows ur entire board to shreds. i think Arizona would have too much traffic at 4 or both him and marv from other teams to just simply stick and pick, thats just my logic applied. lol it will not go the way i think completely for sure lol.
I really appreciate the feedback! A lot to respond to here, so I’m just going to make note and discuss in the next video! Regarding JJ, I have gone back and forth on JJ. I am a much bigger fan of his than consensus. I do not knock JJ at all for excelling in the system he played in, he didn’t design it, and he could have been bad in it but he wasn’t. Similar to the hate for Brock Purdy. You can argue all day that Purdy would be bad in other situations, which I would agree with, however, you cannot discredit that Purdy plays flawlessly in the system he’s in. JJ has enough film out there that he can make any throw, deliver with anticipation, and has underrated velocity. I love the idea of JJ to the Broncos or the Rams to succeed Stafford in a similar style offense to that of Michigan. I really appreciate you giving your opinion especially since you disagree in a graceful manner haha. I hope to hear your thoughts on the next video. 😁
Bengals will not let tee Higgins go they will franchise tag him if they can't get a deal done and if they can't they will want a ransom for tee higgins
If I am understanding correctly, the Bengals have about 59 mil in cap space. Ja’marr Chase has a projected market value of about 27 mil per year per Spotrac. If the Bengals tag Higgins the current tag price for WR is a little over 21 mil. I think it’s no question the Bengals will tag and trade, I should have been more specific but the point remains, Higgins will be potentially up for grabs haha
Broncos fan here - If the board falls the way it did, I think Bo Nix needs to be the pick at 12. He's a fantastic fit for Sean Payton, I just worry about the clutch gene that's needed to win the big games - idk if I really see that in Nix. Really solid mock draft overall.
ty for commenting just so i didn't have to make a comment to express my thoughts on this lol i like the dialog more. the issue with BO is the system and the timeline of his growth in his system, this to me is where people lose context and they get dangerous with their feelings about Bo nix. he went to auburn and at least for the majority of time, if not his entire tenure there, his offensive coordinator was Kenny Dillingham. this is where people get out of pocket with a narrative that Bo nix at auburn is different than bo nix at Oregon. he transferred to Oregon primarily because for at least a year before he got the Arizona state job) he followed Kenny Dillingham from auburn. so he's same Bo, playing in the same system, but a different team and a better roster around him. funny story about this system, other than Josh Heupel at Tennessee this is probably the least translatable system to the NFL with regards to reads postsnap. so you have a camp of people who feel like, Bo nix's production has improved thus he's improved and now he's a better player. and you have another camp (my camp) who gives Bo nix the peoples eyebrow, and trust me i say it as someone whose had him constantly on my radar since his 1st start ever when he beat Justin Herbert. in all fairness i like him for the same reasons you probably do, the physical traits are all there. its just with the full perspective of the profile, some scouts and the draft community are getting too rich with his stock. it's been a good 5 years and i still have questions. most of us had seen enough after 4. he should be day 2 at best.
Think the Colts are more likely to take Verse at 15. think the colts either get someone in FA or run it back with Jones, Moore, Brents and they also get Flowers back who was looking solid before he went down
I agree that the first pick is defense and as I mentioned I almost went Verse. Both would be solid gets in my opinion, when I reviewed the roster I just thought the CB room was pretty thin but I can totally see them going edge as well.
