I am falling in love again after years of conflict and planning for a divorce. One simple thing work for me was I reopened my heart and asked what he wants from me. Then I promised to commit to that, and decided to heal all the hurts from the marriage and even his past life, then magic happened. When we marry someone we usually marry them for great reason and purpose. That what we need to remind ourselves. Love is beautiful and bigger than revenge, conflict or a need to be right. This and his others teaching helped me to open up my heart and to do the right thing. I am glad, otherwise my stuburn head would have destroyed the marriage.

Isabelle We heal through connecting with each other’s wounds. I think there is value in what others have been through. I have heard Jimmy and he makes great points. And relationship life coches are brilliant, because they are for the relationship to grow spirituality. God send us angels to help us and guide us. Yes there is a great reason why we marry the person we marry. God also wants us to be in peace and thrive. Both parties have to want to give to each other like Jesus have. But there is a time when one must say goodbye because if there is emotional abuse or physical abuse that is a deal breaker, especially when the abuser and absent partner is not willing to change. Responsibility is key!

Women today are unable to bear anything from a man of the same nature as her ? Why is it ?? Because plenty of women have been deceived by all the quacks like Evans and the rest into thinking they are more spiritual than men .
Marriage has been turned into a romantic buffonery by all the "pastors" and counsellors pretending to heal what feminism has wrecked and it has been deprived of its sexual purpose , allowing Satan to WIN.
There is now no difference between a pagan marriage and a Christian marriage.
Hence the countless divorces that are screwing the whole Western world .
Chritian marriage today is a sad joke and no longer a fortress against sexual temptations.
Where in the Bible do you see "relationship life coaches" ? Allt hiose deceitful concepts are a product of our feminized (curse) societies . When husbands are the heads of their household as GOD wants it (but not quacks like Evans and the rest) , no one needs "coaches".
They all do that in order to replace the authority of the husband .
Women are their own worst enemies when it comes to relationships. You had it all and you blew it. Enjoy your cats.

Gives me hope. I’ve been with my husband since we were 19-20. 9 years later I’m having trouble being in love with him and have recently started giving all of my troubles to God and asking him for guidance thru this difficult time. I love him with my entire soul I don’t want to lose him. 🙏🏻❤️

@@efthimios Dude, you are in my prayers! Very similar feeling here. I choose to forgive and save marriage also. I run into similar walls of "audacity," too. Only good thing is this situation has made me examine myself and my faith. Trusting God in all this has been hard but rewarding. Still don't know how it will turn out, but I'm not going to give up without a fight!

Except that there are not godly inspired because love is not the purpose of marriage ! The purpose of marriage is sexual as 1 Corinthians clearly states it .
If we were not sexual , we would not need marriage. If marriage was about love , then David would have married Jonathan since he loved him as his soul .

You give excellent advice for those who are married and those that are going to be married.
However at 7:55 You say high goals and high work ethics.
Are you implying money wise when it comes to marriage because if you are I disagree.
You don't have to make over 60,000 dollars or more to have happy marriage.
There are many middle class or poor people who are happily married and in love and they stay married and they stay in love.
However if you are saying high goals and high work ethics in terms of always communicating with your spouse always talking to each other to sort stuff and working together as a team to keep the marriage alive and going then I agree.

What does one do when a husband puts career first but says he doesn't. He proceeds to travel and use his job and sitiations as excuses to do things he wouldn't normally do, such as travel with men n women without spouses. Help.
Also has done some things to cause some mistrust. Not an affair but went to an ungodly place saying someone elsw was driving...not wanting me to find out...Other times has strangely not telling me where he was going when led me to believe a different location as he was talking to me on the way. We are generally very close, but a lot has been causing issues.
And we've been married close to 30 years.
KeepLearning I would say continue to show him love while expressing your concern and feeling with respect. Give it a time, study your husband, if you know him well and confident he loves you, continue the love, if not move to the next stage and discuss with him. If he cares he will come back to you.
@@Freeduradura I pray for recovery and restoration in your marriage, but I was close to tears when I read what you wrote. Why? I was married to a godly man (so I thought) for almost 30 years. Due to ministry promotion, he totally forgot me. I tried to get him to see what was happening but he only wanted to go preach, and spend hours at church. Besides he also worked at the church. It got to a point where I couldn't take the rejection anymore and got involved in an affair. We are apart for about four years now, but I cannot say I missed by husband because of all the hurt I experienced. I am happy in Jesus and enjoying my single life and spending time with my children and grandchildren. I hope to remarry, but until then, I remain walking by faith and not by sight.
Wish my wife and I saw this earlier. Now only I see it. My wife divorced me 2 months ago but left me 2 weeks ago. Now heartbroken and just all I can do is pray. Her phone, family, and social media took her from me. Don't know if I will ever love anyone else like I loved my ex wife.

Ironic that so many Christian sites gain visits and comments from those who state they are atheist. Perhaps something is tugging on your heart?. As a cold hearted dude I ran from God for years with my genius sham intellect, pseudo phraseology, stolen,imbibed arguments, pride that would put Mt. Everest to shame. Then every area of my life became unraveled. I ended up in the high desert of CA. away from it all..or so I thought. Walking one day in the desert, smug in my conceit that I had outsmarted and escaped God, I saw a small sign beside a dusty trail.."If you and I meet and you forget me, you've lost nothing. If you and Jesus meet and you forget him, you have lost everything." Later I gave my life to Christ. Had I have known His care, protection and provision, healing,emotional and physical I could have saved so much time and grief. He will never force His way into a human heart. But to those who invite Him in.."behold all things are become new".

There is no such thing as free will.(Romans 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.) There are many, many things people don't have a choice in......Its called circumstances... That is one of the biggest myths along with many others such as original sin...Do people make choices? Yes. Are they free from causality? Nope. If you call yourself a "christian" then you know that God came before ANYTHING and is the Lawgiver(the CAUSE of EVERYTHING in the universe) Is it in the bible that Adam sinned? Yup. Am I accountable/liable for the sins of an ancient man written about named Adam? Absolutely not. BTW sin merely means breaking the law, being a lawbreaker. There in lies the problem. People are responsible for their own actions. We chose good, bad, and some neutral decisions. We don't always break the Law. So when discussing objectively its imperative to look at all sides of the Christian Coin and not just the "im a piece of crap needing a savior spiel purporting to be the gospel." It is written that mankind was made upright and in Gods image. (See gen 1:26,27 Ecc 7:29).

All these marriage videos are great, but they seem to assume that both parties are willing to actually try to fix the problems, what do I do when my wife says she's a believer, but she won't try?

What if you were never “in love” to begin with? But you married them more so for the good person they were/are. Really confused and struggling. This has led to a lack of a romantic relationship/intimacy and I feel guilty in a sense that maybe I married for the wrong reasons. Our life isn’t terrible, but it is more like a friendship than a marriage/relationship. I have found that I am yearning for more and don’t believe It can happen with the person I’m with, sadly.
Now, most of the time I feel like the best thing to do is just try to part amicably &move on. 😔

I've been observing youth groups, college groups, and single's groups in churches for many years, There is no difference with non Christian groups. It is all about the popular, the handsome and the rich. The values inside churches are the same values preached by Hollywood. Many people in churches marry incompatible people and than they need lots of lecture and sermons to try to fix something that was done wrong from the beginning. Jimmy are not honest to tell people that they married for the wrong reasons with incompatible people.
Why doesn't Jesus just come be King? Wonder why he wanted to have pastors and teachers and stuff before he came. I guess we'll be kings and priests, even when he's ruling. Huh
