A quicker way to do this is to remove the turn signal housings, then disconnect the side marker bulbs from housing, THEN unbolt the grill. The headlights are mounted to the car itself so they dont need to come off with the grill.

Top lights don't even have to come out lol
I don't understand why you remove grille attached lens etc. 1st instead of once the grille is out.
Getting the bottom retaining pins, clips or trees (whatever you want to call them) back in is the issue. I am sure that the bumper was not on the truck yet at the factory in order to put them in. I'll add more when I get them back in.
Thank you for your videos they are very helpful. I am surprised that when you had the headlights, signal lights and marker lights rermoved from the grill you didn't detailthem , or suggest that they be detailed , and wipe the dust of the marker light bulbs. Its a lot easier to detail parts when they are off the vehicle.
I have a gap on the passenger side of the grill i don’t know why i try to push it in more to the fender but it wont go, could be the bumper filler
Can you swap it out for a Silverado front clip?

for the clips on the bottom u dont move them around u push down on the back of them to release them dont just pull on it

My 1990 GMC Sierra has the single headlight grille, and I would like to upgrade to the slim quad head light design. Do you have an electrical connector kit to do this change over? I believe the grille should go right in place. Any help will be greatly appreciated. God Bless.

Is the gmc grill and the chevy ones different? As in light assembly size?

+Kurloz Soriano: the Headlights and parking lights are all the same between the two trucks. The 4 side markers are different though, so you will have to get GMC or Chevy specific side markers. 88-93 and 94-00 Chevy side markers are very different, non-interchangeable, same goes to GMC, IIRC. Hope this helps you.

or the screw holes will not match?
@@GodLikeMeAgain they will match the only difference between a chevy and a gmc grill is the chevy grill has a bigger gap between the blinkers

+Brenden Swiader IIRC, I think they are just license plate mount squares for your license plate. Like $4 to replace for a 4 pack at AutoZone. Hope this helps you, I think I need to replace mine as well.

why did you pull the headlights? and it's easier to change marker lights with grill removed
Might ah been to lighten the 'grill' weight for extraction, less pressure on the lower clips.
Notice the leaves behind the drivers side headlight assembly are same as seen within the, 'remove/replace your headlights' vid. LoL

How much is the grill...?? I could use a new one.
I ordered new headlights, blinker lights "top and bottom and marker lights, just got them today" putting them all in this morning, the old ones are so faded and it's a 1994 GMC Sierra I 1500 4x4 I got my led 3rd brake light in today too... I ordered new brake lights with the bulb housings they come in tomorrow. So I'll have new lights all round my truck. And the price wasn't bad at all. Around $150 all round. Hope all works out gd. Like to get new grille though. :). Good video btw. Thanks
