Fabulous playing on a fabulous organ with fabulous videography . . . and in case my response is not clear enough: just fabulous! I appreciate how Covid has robbed you for far too long of live recitals and real audiences, but I do hope you continue to post videos of your performances on UA-cam for those of us around the world who can only encounter your playing using this medium. I can imagine that editing this video was more time consuming than the work that probably went into the performance (!) but it really makes for an amazing and wonderfully intimate experience of both the music and the performer. You are certainly at the top of your game, Sebastian, as this is a definitive interpretation of the Liszt for me. So I will finish by repeating myself again: FABULOUS!
Bravo, Sebastian. Another incredible performance. This is a monumental work, impressive, profound, a crowd pleaser that uses the dynamics of the organ in extreme. Very well done, Sir. Fantastic!!! Thank you for another magnificent performance.
Great interpretation ,played with great vigour Liszt would have been. pleased to have heard this played with such musicality and from memory ,Thankyou Sebastian
Puissant, intense.
I am very demanding on these interpretations of the BACH. I have heard a lot of them, with a little or a big "lack". And since I found you on youtube, almost all of you fill these little "gaps"! I had stayed on Cochereau, Guillou ... well done. Good job. Thank you!
Bravo, Maestro. Your registrations are other-worldly and pure genius. I love your interpretation; you kept me mesmerized. Your technique is brilliant, and I marvel at your supple pedal technique as well. The way you clairfy every aspect of this piece makes it come alive and speak and inspire. I am going to listen to it again, and make it a part of my routine. I am an organist, and you have inspired me to work even harder. It may be a bit lengthy of a prelude or postlude at church, but I would like to be able to play this for an afternoon recital after church. Maybe in a year or so.lol
I can't only imagine how the feeling when playing in empty church was. I can only guess it must be painful and so much complex. I believe in quite sure certitude, through more difficulty, humanity grows and matures. In such a way, your culture developed. You're alright, you, the world's treasure mustn't be abandoned!
Stunning performance. Absolutely stunning, and beautifully measured. Shame about the irritating individual/s in the background who clearly had no respect for sheer quality.
I haven't heard you play since what you did with Xaver Varnus a couple of years ago. Your progress has been phenomenal. I hope you will have a concert At Varnus organ concert hall in Nova Scotia, Canada
Sehr fantasievoll, wunderbar!
Why are other people in that church not respect this artist by making stupid background noice😏

Superb recording quality! And of course a very good reading, not banal, but at the same time rigorous. Full of musicality.

Sebastian - I believe you found The Lost Chord. It surely has the sound of a grand Amen.

You should me send the audio WAV files so I could broadcast it on Organroxx Radio!

More than anything, I want to hear this on the Wanamaker. lol
Brilliant, as usual! How about Ad nos someday on a big German organ?
You are an amazing, gifted organist. Great registration and interpretation. Great sound. Well done!
Были на его живом концерте, это невероятно, нет слов, всем советую.
Stunning performance. Absolutely stunning, and beautifully measured.

Played with such feeling and technical mastery. And all done from memory. An absolutely stunning performance!!

Excellent playing. His technique is amazing.

Wonderful organist! Is a genius!!!
Dazzling performance, as always. Thank you!
Another brilliant performance..Thank you.
Eine beeindruckende Leistung. Das Ganze dann auch noch auswendig!
Himmlischer wunderbar gespielt. "Er war nicht ein Bach, zondern ein ganzes Meer" Beethoven hat von Bach gesagt. Grüsse aus Norwegen.
Utterly marvelous as usual
He even looks a bit like Liszt...

It’s Brad Pitt in ‘ Interview with the Vampire ‘ !
Sebastian, you use the instrument at St Mathius in Berlin a lot. Are you the organist there or is it just a local instrument for your use?
Magnificent!
