Thanks for this pattern. I absolutely love patrick Star. Now i can make a couple of these. yet again, Thanks for this video. i hope you can make more of these in the future🥹💖
Hi, sorry if this is a weird question, but what is the extra chain for the arms and legs that you do when the round is starting? wouldn't that give the round an extra stitch and instead of just being 6 in the arms for example, it would end up with one more? Maybe I'm reading too much into it sorry
Sorry for the late reply! 👉At the beginning of each Row, it is →1ch=lifting ch, 👉At the end: Join with →SL.(Slip Stitch) 1ch=lifting ch SL. (slip stitch) Happy crocheting!😘😘
It also took me some time to understand so correct me if I'm wrong. You need to do the first stitch of the row in the same space you did a sl st. At the end of the round it will look like you have 2 more stitches but you don't - they are the sl st and chain - so just ignore them. The whole time I was doing decreases cause I didn't understand why I had an extra stitch (until i figuered it out) but it came out OK at the end😂
I've been following this and have had to restart 3 times, even tho my stitches are correct it seems what I have and the stitch count in the video are not matching up D:
I am so sorry! I just saw your message😓Please excuse my late reply! Is your crochet done now? If you have difficulties, don't worry, just follow the patterns in the video and take your time! Happy crocheting!😘😘😘
Sorry if this is confusing, but why are you starting with 2ch and then 6ss in same stitch, instead of doing a magic ring, and 6 ss in that? I'm just wondering the difference or if it ends up the same?
Beautiful work , n I have a question. Why is the right side of your crochet stitches on the inside n the wrong side of the stitches on the outside. What is the purpose of doing it this way?
Hi, I noticed for round 6-13 its "(kinda symmetrical crochet pattern)+2sc" due to the leg joining with 2ch. Then, for round 15+.I realise that this trend dissapeared, R15: 28sc, decx2 and there is no more +2sc at the end like I expected e.g.(dec, 26sc, dec, 2sc) And from R16 onwards, the pattern became symmetrical: (9sc, (1sc, decx)x4, 9 sc) I'm curious as to how it became symmetrical as I want to design amigurumi patterns for myself in the future. I'm suspecting it has something to do with R15 but I'm not 100% sure. Love your pattern btw, looks so cute and funny!
Take your time and take your time! Notice: 👉At the beginning of each Row, it is →1ch=lifting ch, 👉At the end: Join with →SL.(Slip Stitch) Happy crocheting!😘😘
why does my velvet is so fuzzy and i cannot see the pattern... can you please link the yarn you bought... i seem to have hard time figuring out stiches.
Dear, the yarn I purchased - chenille yarn - was bought at a local yarn store and I can't remember the brand. The chenille yarn is like this, it's a little unclear, but as long as the number of stitches in each loop is correct, it's fine.😘😘
I have seen the R7 of the leg, the video demonstration is not the whole process, please refer to the written pattern below the video for specific crochet!😉
Sorry for the question, but can you tell me how many gr did you use? I have a different yarn and I have to use it double, so I don't know if it's gonna be enough.. I'm new here so maybe it doesn't matter, but I ask anyway 😅
Not sure if you are aware but someone is selling your pattern on Etsy and claiming it is theirs, unless that is you. I found it odd you haven’t linked your Etsy to this video and it doesn’t seem like it is you so I thought I would let you know. This is exactly the type of crocheting I want to be doing😂😂😂 just subscribed! Pls make more silly things like this! I love it!!
Thank you for liking it! I will do more!😄😄
For everyone who is confused, you need to skip the last loop every row and slip stich into the first stitch on every row
So don’t count it as one tho?

@@mayahart6825omg thank you! Somehow this makes so much more sense to me! 😂❤
Nice work. But may I understand why you’d prefer to use the back/reverse side as the outer skin, instead of vice versa?
Hi, use the reverse side because it looks softer on the skin. You can also use the front side.
Ive made so many of these because of this video!!
Happy crocheting!😘😘

I’ve been crocheting for a while, the video is really hard to follow, I’d pay for a written pattern, can we not get one at some point?
The written pattern is in the video, crochet slowly, it will definitely work!💕😘😘
I love this!! This was so easy to follow. Thank you!! this is the only pattern i've been able to find for this plush

Sorry if this is confusing, but why are you starting with 2ch and then 6ss in same stitch, instead of doing a magic ring, and 6 ss in that? I'm just wondering the difference or if it ends up the same?
It ends up the same
Because I am using chenille yarn, I chose to crochet like this at the beginning so that it is easier to see clearly.☺
Beautiful work , n I have a question. Why is the right side of your crochet stitches on the inside n the wrong side of the stitches on the outside. What is the purpose of doing it this way?
The purpose is to make Patrick Star's skin look smoother and more delicate.😇
Not sure what I did but my cheeks were so lopsided and the joining line was as well. 😩 I’ll have to frog this and try again.
Take it easy! try again! It will definitely be a success!😘😘😘

sure! Basically the same thing. In turn, it makes the skin look more delicate.Happy crocheting😘😘

Use skin color for the body part, or light pink, both are fine😙
Que divertido!!! Me encanta 😊
Thank you for your love! 😘😘😘
heyyy I'd like to ask if a 4 ply pink yarn is enough for making Patrick?
Sorry for the late reply!
I remember I used about 20 grams to crochet the body part. You can also prepare more.😙
I used worsted weight for mine, he came out so perfect, quiet big.
👏👏Happy crocheting!
Awwe I Love this, you ever get the chance look up Golden Jelly Bean!

LOVEEE YOUR ACCC
What colors did u use? I know pink and green but what kind of pink, does it say the kind of pink on the yarn?
What type of yarn did you use? Brand, fiber and thickness?
The yarn and hooks used are explained at the very beginning of the video.😘😘
Can you please tell me what brand of yarn you used for the body
@vava111 I'm trying to find velvet yarn of 2mm. To be clear, the weight is 2? I cannot find anything less than weight 4
Wait can I use bigger yarn and a different hook? Would it look the same if I use this pattern but bigger?
Of course!It will get bigger😊😘
Thank you ❤
I think there is a mistake in row 7 in legs
I have seen the R7 of the leg, the video demonstration is not the whole process, please refer to the written pattern below the video for specific crochet!😉
thank you 😍😍
On the legs part are there only 5 row’s when you start making each leg?
Yes, On the legs part are there only 5 row’s😙
What kind of yarn u use? Velvet yarn?
Velvet Chenille Yarn☺
What could have caused my Patrick to become distorted?
I don't understand😅
Sorry for the question, but can you tell me how many gr did you use? I have a different yarn and I have to use it double, so I don't know if it's gonna be enough.. I'm new here so maybe it doesn't matter, but I ask anyway 😅
Sorry for the late reply! A 50g ball of yarn is enough! For the body part, I only used about 20 grams.😙

Hhhhh😂😂😂... this so cute😊😊
Hope you like it! Enjoy crocheting😄😄
can i also make a magic ring to start this? with 6sc ?
OK! sure! But if you use Velvet Chenille Yar like me, it will be a little difficult. If you use cotton thread then no problem at all.💕💕
can i use acrylic yarn ?
Any yarn will work! I am using:velvet chenille yarn😊😊
I don't get it :( I had to restart 8 times now and every time I have 2 stitches left and with every row there is an increase. What am I doing wrong?
Dear friend, I wonder at which lap you started to go wrong? So I can't explain it to you🤔
I had the same issue, to be honest I was just two off at some point and kept the rest of it going and it still turned out great!
I think the issue is that there was supposed to be a slip stitch between every row!!! It's not written but it seems like that's what she was doing?
