Cats in Japan are believed to have originated from China. It is generally thought that during the Tang Dynasty, the eminent monk Jianzhen brought cats to Japan to protect precious Buddhist scriptures from being damaged by rats on the ship. These cats, therefore, came to be known as "Tang cats." At that time, cats were rare in Japan and were kept only by the royal family and temples. Due to their association with Buddhism, Japanese people attributed various spiritual abilities to cats, such as bringing good fortune, turning luck around, and guarding luck. This is the origin of the Shosoin Fortune Cat.

From the name of your channel, I think you are a vegetarian. I suggest you try a vegetarian restaurant in China. There are a few reasons why western countries the governments don't want their citizens to visit China. 1st to see all the Chinese super infrastructures. 2nd how China is able to keep the public areas so clean, green and organized. 3th why China is so safe even for foreigners. 4th. How Chinese education system is able to educate the people with such huge population to be so disciplined. If those western countries people visit China and see all these, they will realize how useless and incompetent their governments are compared to the Chinese government. With so much taxes they're paying, yet their useless governments are not able to provide them the same infrastructures, cleanliness and safety to the people. That is why their governments and government controlled media keep lying to them about how bad China is. How undeveloped China is and advises the people not to visit China.
