I love Manny’s stat about having 3/+ turnovers in games since 2018 with a 1-18 record! That’s incredible and tells the horrors of turnovers and the brightness of Cam Ward. Excellent work! And Carlos, thanks for bringing up X’s catch on his back! Gameday would rather talk about the officials robbing VT of an upset, rather than an amazing comeback. Go Canes!
I just watched the Gramlich and Mac Lain show from the ACC Network. Eric Mac Lain is also on the ACC's The Huddle. Mac Lain said the day after the VT vs Miami game, they were able to watch an angle of the hail marry that the ACC review center saw. The angle was from the endzone above at 45 degree angle where it clearly showed the VT player NEVER had possession of the football. While the ball was being bobbled, Isaiah Horton reached in and touched the ball while out of bounds, immediately ending the play by rule. The ACC got it right, but they should have been transparent at the time of the play and provide the definitive camera shot that determined the reversal.
That play there was nowhere near as obvious as those two safeties they took from us last year. If Miami loses a regular season game and then loses the ACC championship game they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
Totally disagree with Carlos and Manny on playcalling, Dawson is doing an excellent job.love all the formations and pre snap motion he's using, and there is creative stuff with the TEs and getting Johnson on the edge and some passes in space or against LBs....Dawson's been great, just need to ger the OL run blocking better
Manny’s analysis is generally sober and he has a penchant for bringing (admitted) homers such as myself back to earth. I’m feeling less confident and excited about this team now, but hoping Miami comes prepared and gets back to playing confident / having fun. The last thing I want to see is this team playing timid and scared of losing.

The 'Canes have talent, but we still to keep the pressure on with recruiting. Miami needs to land those elite DTs, DBs and receivers instead of losing out to Texas (Jamie Ffrench), Oregon (Dallas Wilson), LSU (DJ Pickett) and Ohio St (Jeremiah Smith).

Our team was out physical in the trenches on both sides of the ball by a smaller team Mario seem to equate big with tough no running lanes against good teams but I see lesser talented team do every Saturday
with a qb like Cam on some of the running plays we could use the veer option to get outside, around the corner and down the field we got too many backs that can scat when given space Martinez is hard nosed when the blocking is good he'll get down the field fools are leaving comments saying they want him gone; folks like that don't understand football wanting him gone after just 5 games it's a long season we'll need him

He definitely runs harder than Martinez we need better balance when being hit we play backs who run through tackles... we need to hit them in the chest!!

Reality Check: VT is good and we got their best effort. They would beat FSU by at least 14. They lost by 3 to what are two pretty good teams this year: Vandy and Rutgers. Cal lost to FSU and only scored 9 points in the process. If Miami is even close to being a championship level team, they win this game going away in the 2nd half.
Mirabal is not that good of a coach! This will be a DNofrio - Golden situation! Mirabal has done horrible job in recruiting and development. 3 years and 1 drafted player in the 7th round!
