Elektron Digitakt with Distortion Pedals // Audio Examples

The Digitakt is magic with distortion pedals. In this video I'm using mostly mono distortion devices (aside from the overdriven Tascam 414), so the stereo capabilities of the Digi are lost. To get around that you could double track or buy two of the pedals, but I've been very happy with results from these particular mono pedals.
The Elektron Digitakt delivers such a clean and dynamic signal, it is perfect for feeding into distortion and clipping devices. You get the full tonal range out of the distortion, and can really push things in the extreme. In this video I use the Walrus Audio Ages, Schlappi 100 Grit, Tascam 414, and Fairfield Shallow Water (for pitch modulation).
