Those Dollar Tree Skeletons - you know the ones...they are tiny, they are BEYOND cheap, and they have the WORST skulls in the Universe. Yep. 😮
We're going to transform one of these little guys into a Creepy Death Coach Driver. Just you wait and see! 👁
While we're at it, we'll dress up a tiny poseable skelly to act as a Victorian Mute - just another one of those mysterious Victorian Mourning Customs that seem so odd (yet charming) to our modern sensibilities.🤔
Bit by bit, we're constructing an EPIC Gothic Victorian Halloween Tableau - these Altered Mini Skeletons are just the thing to bring 'life' to our project!😜
C'mon, let's do this!🛠

Creepy grungy & cool! The attention to detail is fantastic, and very inspiring. So enjoy watching/listening to you create!
My 3 favorite descriptors, Faith! Creepy, Grungy & Cool...sounds like a Victorian Undertaker's Establishment, doesn't it? 😜💗💀
Fabulous! Heather, you did a fabulous job , I just loved the new scull you sculpted 😘
Hi Ali! Thank you for liking my funny skull sculpt - it was SO fun to do! xox
Fantastic! I always learn something new when I watch your videos. Thanks!!!
Hey Kim! Then I'm a happy girl, my friend. Thank you! xox

Wonderful and spectacular work!!
Well, that's very kind of you, my friend - thank you! xoxo
So much better than I imagined he could be. But of course you go above and beyond. The Mute is an unexpected delight! I am forever in awe of your creative genius
Hey Tina! Cool! I'm glad you like 'em. Wish I had time to lavish the kind of care and detailing that I would like to...maybe next year I'll pull out ALL the stops! Hugs! xox
So cool! The details are amazing! I just love your creative mind.
Creativity is my drug of choice, Cristine...bless you for being so encouraging, girl. xox
This is a fabulous series!!!!! You are so talented and amazing!!!!! Yes, the Mute is just lovely!!!!! Creativity is a place you've never been before and you my friend take us there every week!!!!
I'm delighted that you're enjoying the series, maplestoryftw12! I'm having a wonderful time playing with all my creepy toys! xox
GORGEOUS!! What an amazing set from coach to casket to driver!!
Yay! I'm so happy you think so, Stephanie! I can't wait to work on the NEXT installment in this series - because Halloween is EVERY day around here!😘💀💗
YESSSS!! Just the way it should be! >:p Hehe!
You have given me tons of ideas for scenes and stories for my 1:6 characters. The darker turn was waiting to happen because I am a Goth at heart and I now have lots of chilling little ideas that I will try to realise with my action figures and the poor dead people I am going to make for all these coffins etc. I can't wait for tomorrow because I can get started on the skulls even though Halloween is past we are going to need them again for the Winter Solstice Lol!
See? I KNEW there were more of us out there! 😘💀😍 I love the excitement that I hear in your words, girl - Halloween is a state of mind, not just a date on a calendar! xoxo
He is much handsomer now!
Oh my godess ! I was speachless after the last week coffin. My cerebral gears were working hard. Today they give up and melted watching the most cute and creepy skeletons come to live. You're such a great artist Heather !
It's Edwige! Hello, my friend. And thank you for the giggle - cute and creepy: music to my ears, girl! 💗
Fantastic project Heather! I’m not a Halloween person, however, I do sculpt skeletons sometimes. I found that polymer clay is more friendly when you are planning to take some time to sculpt. You sure did marvelous!
Hi Maria! I'm so pleased that you liked this, in spite of not being a Halloween person - thank you! I considered polymer clay, but since I was using the soft Dollar Tree Skull as an armature, I envisioned a puddle of melted plastic if baked!
Apoxie Sculpt seemed like the right choice under the circumstances 😉😘
You never cease to amaze Heather. 💀
Well, dang, FolkFaninMA - thank you for being so kind! I LOVE sharing these little oddities, darlin'. Yep. xox
Oh I love these!!!
Yay! Then you are my Spirit Sister, Dana! Woo hoo! xox
Heather Tracy oh I think we are. Love this whole vignette!
Love love love
This is so awesome! Skeletons are my most favorite at Halloween. They are so cute even if they look spooky. I have loads of Dollar tree skeletons to play with. :)
Glad you like it, girl! Skellys are so appealing to me, too, Kimberly. But that DREADFUL skull on the Dollar Tree version just annoys me no end 😜💀
Heather Tracy I agree, they look like aliens from outer space. I just ordered the Mr. Bones Skelton face from the Tim Holtz halloween stamps - he is perfect! Has a top hat and everything
I've seen that new stamp - it's pretty cool, Kimberly...I've been hunting for the OLD Tim Holtz giant skull stamp, girl...that's the one I've always regretted not buying when it was available.
Heather Tracy There are a couple good skull stamps on stampersanonymous.com. There is a giant wood mount skull and another of my favorites, The Undertaker. I think it’s around $12; i bought it last year. You can’t beat Tim Holtz for the dark, creepy stuff at Halloween.
You are brilliant.
Creating this Gothic Tableau is just one of the most delightful endeavors EVER, Valerie! I may not be brilliant (thank you for saying so), but I am having the time of my life, girl. xoxo
I would love to be let loose in your craft room. We do an annual Halloween party and it's my job to come up with the invitations and the "trophies" for the costume contest. Those little posable skeletons are going to have to factor in some how. They are too cute...err scary - they're scary. Thank you for sharing your particular brand of genius with us. You are very inspiring.
YES!!! These tiny Posable Skellys are the best, AndreaJane - I just know you'll find a way to incorporate 'em into your fabulous Halloween decor.
Oh, and you're welcome to let loose in the craft room any old time, my friend - just bring your hip waders - it's a JUNGLE in there! 😜🛠🎨🖌😘
I love this ♡ ah! A tiny skelly!
Isn't he adorable, Persephone Black? Everybody needs one (or 5!) xoxo
Holy Toledo lady!! That skull is amazing and watching the process was jaw dropping!! Positively impressive!! Btw I love my pose's they're my favorite little guys. I have the cat, dog, and demon rocker 👍
Ohhhh...I love the sound of your Pose Posse, @jato alworth - so cute! This project was so fun. Halloween is coming! xoxo
AWESOME!!!!!
This one was a blast to put together, Mike. SO fun. xoxo
Heather, I bow to your genius!
Good gracious, don't do THAT, VElaineA! Let's just play and have fun, instead! 💗💀💗
Heather, i wanted to let you know that the price of the small skeleton is extremely high, it's gone up to 95 US dollars but, there's another option if people search Amazon for Mr bones, he's the same size and completely posable for a fraction of the cost, he's approximately $5 US. I think the only difference is he doesn't come with extra hands
Thank you so much for letting me know this, Mari - I've updated my link to point to the less expensive version, and I'm very grateful to you. xoxo
So awesome, looks really great! Just out of curiosity, what are the 123 blocks used for other than helping things stand up while you are glueing, lol. BIG HUGS : )
Hi Anastasia! Hope all is well with you, girl. The 1-2-3 Blocks are perfect for weighing down small items whilst the glue cures, they are tapped (they have threads inside the holes), so you can attach things to them with the proper scale bolts, they are machined to perfect 90 degree angles, so using them to align your work is foolproof, AND because they are 1" x 2" x 3", you can use them to quickly check the rough measurements of your work. This is just a small number of their functions - I have 4 of 'em, and will never give 'em up! 😘
Go to Big Lots this year. Hopefully they will have them where you're at. Apparently it won't let me out a picture but big lots has a little skeleton guy who is as big as the skeletons from the dollar store but he is as movable and poseable as Pose for $5, totally worth it. I umm collect skulls and skeletons. 😬
That's amazing! I had no idea, and I'll head over to Big Lots right away, @jato alworth. Thank you! xoxo
@@Thicketworks you are most welcome
💀
I just found you on Instagram ❤️❤️👍👍👍
Hey lovely found your channel really like your content .. So you have a new supporter , I have a crafty channel if you're interested hope to see you xx
Hey PinkZebra - nice to meet you! Thanks for your kind words, my friend. Wishing you great success with your channel 😘
The streets are dark and deserted, the band of mourners have been paid and have made their way back to some new celebration, to once more, wind their way through the lighted streets, leaving the darkness far behind. The mist continues to rise and muffle the sounds of the hearse as it makes it's way, quickly, away from the cemetery, the driver, with his hat pulled low over his face, suddenly stiffens and turns his head, as he hears the creaking of a rusty hinge, that has long been closed and buried under a mound of dirt, as it struggles to open, he sees a skeletal hand emerge from inside the ornate coffin, he's just unearthed... if you listen closely you can hear his shriek of fright, and might think it is only the howling of the wind, as the hearse disappears into the misty night..... but, be very careful, if you take a walk, along the misty boulevard, on some moonless night, for you might encounter a hearse, driving silently past the ornate gates leading into that cemetery.... The driver, with his hat pulled low over his pale face.... and muffled by the mist, you might hear the sounds of, maniacal laughter shrieking through the trees..... and is that footsteps? and you begin to run..... TA DA... you did it again.... made words spill out of my head.... :)
I am going to collect these gorgeous snippets of deathless prose and somehow incorporate them into the finale for this project, Shirley! You are the Queen of Atmosphere! WOW! 😮💗💀
It was your fantastic work that inspired the words... I can't wait to see what you do with them... :)
The perfect mood setting. I would love to read more!
Heather, these videos have inspired me, I started writing something years ago, that never got finished, it's been hanging around my computer, waiting for someone like you to stir my imagination... The title is, If The Reaper Rides.... it was an unfinished poem, until today... :)
Reaper Rides!!!! Shirley, I am so excited... to think that your unfinished work has been given new life just thrills me. Woo hoo! 💗
