As a kayak angler, knowing where to go is way more critical than boat fishing because we have a limited range. This tool will really help me get on fish early and often! I’m looking forward to watching the features as they become available. BTW, having the oyster bar feature let me know why my PB trout was caught where it was - I drifted over a large oyster bar without even knowing it! I’ll be revisiting that spot. 😀
I was on the water at Cockroach Bay Saturday and stumbled on this feature. It was SPOT ON to what I was seeing out there. Got a limit of Trout on the flat and a slot Red in the mangroves. Tight lines!
I fish around PCB all from land or pier I noticed when looking at the smart spots tool today the piers where not on there any chance they will be coming. And it may be I didn't tab through to see if the piers would show up
I would like to see someone use this tool in the Choctawhatchee bay area, because I tried to use this feature only to end up skunked. The area was called Tom's Creek and it is the worst spot to fish in the summer because of the heat of the day. I'm very skeptical about the smart fishing spots feature in our area, because after getting skunked so many times I would like to see a seasoned fisherman use this smart spots feature to show it does help here in choctawhatchee bay Okaloosa county FL. I'm looking forward to seeing this feature get improved over time.
Smart spot not working for me yet in NE FL. The highlight may flash for a moment then disappears and won’t light up again regardless of whether I scroll forward or backward.

It's availble! Just can't see oyster bars and seagrass right now!

Does it work in the lower Chesapeake bay?
Yes, the section of the Chesapeake touching Virginia shoreline has spots marked. And the Maryland shoreline will be coming soon.
