I deleted my Facebook and Instagram (I don't have Snapchat) because I realized it was the reason I was being so negative. I'm usually in a happy mood but every time I would go online, I would end up getting angry and upset. Now that I don't go on social media (except UA-cam), I have so much more time to live my life and focus on what's important for my personal growth. I'm soooo happy with how life is now. Even with UA-cam, I decided to go on a cleanse. I went through all the people I'm subscribed to and deleted all the channels that weren't adding positivity into my life. I'm really happy that you're doing these kinds of videos. I used to watch you from the very beginning but slowly my interest in beauty/makeup faded. I still enjoy putting on makeup when it's needed but I no longer want to fill up my day with videos about things with no depth. I'm a thinker too, and I'm constantly having these deep conversations with my husband/family/friends that help us grow. That's why I truly truly love these kinds of videos. I feel like we can all share something that will help someone else with what they're dealing. Thanks for being such a good soul, Dulce. All the best!

I love this! I'm 17 years old and I recently got rid of my Facebook and Instagram account and I've felt so much better since then! I've wasted too much time on there for the past few years, and I feel like I'm learning more about myself and other people without being glued to my phone. Thanks for the awesome video it really does feel like your an older sister 💓

But these videos have dragged me back to your channel and I'm loving it !!! This is the Dulce I love 💕

DULCE, Based on all the deep thoughts & revelations you've unveiled this year, I'm wondering *is it true what they say abt turning 30 and "figuring it all out"; learning to appreciate life; and becoming happier with yrself & with your life than ever before?!?!* Can you PEASE do a video on things you've learned & ways you've evolved as a person in your 30s??? *'Like'* if anyone else would love to see this as well!!!

Dulce, I've been watching you since you first started. I know you'll come from a beautiful/good place when you'll make this video. But bear in mind, especially for the much younger followers, that your ideas, opinions, are not set on stone. And that you don't hold the truth about what life is about or should be about. And you don't become a new person when you reach 30 as I heard you say on your previous video. We are constantly evolving and you will too as you age. Just keep that in mind.
Life is a journey and we are ALL in this together. Let your ideas, opinions, life, be food for thought for anyone who hears them. But especially for the younger followers, who need to grow into their own individuals not just follow or do what Dulce says.

Dulce! I totally hear you. Thank you for your perspective. Also I can relate to you. I was really depressed in my 20s and went into a very dark place in my early 20s. Good video message. I hear you about the plastic surgery thing too. It is important to love yourself. Be Yourself. Sorry to say this but social media has really made people lose their self.

I think the 25 quarter life crisis is a thing. I didn't realize it at the time, but apparently a lot of people experience that, myself as well.

    • @kelb6073
      @kelb6073 6 років тому +1

Also, I've been watching you since the beginning, and although I enjoyed your early videos, it's nice to see someone who is doing what they enjoy on UA-cam and not just trying to make videos for views or what they think people want to see. Also, about the quarter life crisis thing, I believe it happens because around the age of 25 human brains become fully developed and it begins to work differently as an adult. It probably has something to do with it.

Omg I turned 25 this year and its been terrible! All year (my birthday is in Jan.) Ive ben miserable because idk who I am or what I want in life or who I want to be. Its so stressful because I feel like ai'm the only one who is old and doesn't have a career, I don't even know what I want my career to be! Idk how to get out of this rut but im happy to know that u went through it too and actually are in a better place now :)

My advice would be to not put so much pressure on yourself to have it all figured out. You're so young and still have a full, happy, and succefful life ahead of you.

Girl i've felt that way too. People would tell me it would get better and I was like: 'How will this get better?! Because I don't see me putting allll the pieces together anytime soon". I felt like I had to know and understand everything about life. I read books about it, talked about it, wrote about it and I was thinking about it A LOT. It was so stressful.
But.. i'm going to be like those people who told me: I'm 28 now and it DOES get better!! All the pieces just fell in place and I stopped worrying. And now I'm happy and in love with my life. What did help for me is getting of social media. Only UA-cam. But I stopped Facebook, instagram and Snapchat. Because i think most people there don't know who they are and they just try to show other people what they think will make others like them.. i don't care about that. The people that I really care about and love keep me updated on their life anyway. So I dont feel like i miss out on anything! It gave me so much more peace and time to focus on my OWN life instead of others..
Sorry for my English. Not my First language😊

I was thinking the exact thing yesterday when I went on facebook everyone was posting all the disasters going on. Of course I care, and I pray that everyone is safe, but there was just so many posts about it I felt overwhelmed I had to click off, I felt scared. So I went outside to get some air, and I just got to thinking that if I had no social media I wouldn't know what is going on. I don't know if that's good or bad. At the same time you want to be informed and on the other hand, ignorance is bliss. Out of sight out of mind kinda. I just wish we had no cell phones sometimes, I miss those days.

My Dulce I’m so happy for this videos you make. I’ve been watching your videos since the very beginning and I feel so proud of you! Since I was a teenager I always wanted to change my body, my hair texture, my face, my breasts... until about a year ago I wanted to get liposuction and went through such a bad emotional breakdown for years and that made me feel something was wrong with me, and I think our first thoughts are always to change something in our outside and hate and judge our bodies and blame it for how unhappy and empty we feel. I started to process my thoughts, to be more kind to the person I chose to spend the rest of my life with ( myself) to forgive my actions, to heal... to realize that my body is so damn perfect as it is that now is about to give me a baby! That beauty is within every inch of our bodies and that at the end, all that matters is how much love we have given to ourselves and to others. God bless you always and thank you for this videos !

I've heard people around me say things like, "What if this is a bad day? What if things go wrong? What if nothing works out?" I like to challenge them with embracing hope and telling to ask themselves the opposite instead, "What if this is the best day? What if things go right? What if everything works out? Why not believe in the best?" What we believe opens us up to so much, so why not believe today is the greatest day of our lives? :)

Actually yes, social media can be part of the cause of depression. Because that was my case. I was diagnosed with major severe depression last year and one of the reason why is the social media. I started getting my life busier so I can be not always stuck on my phone and it works, little by little, I'm not projecting my life anymore to social media and I feel better. It's a hard journey, like a drug addiction but I pray and work hard to get there.

When I was turning 30 I had anxiety about it. A woman in her 40s said “girl being in your 30s is the best, I felt the greatest”. Now I am 33 and I love it!!!! I have never felt so good about myself. Ive never felt so attractive and so comfortable in my skin. Something just changed. Idk. I tell people the same thing that in my twenties I have may looked happy on the outside, but I wasn’t. I didn’t love myself one bit. I wanted to change so much about myself. The one thing of all I hated being 5ft and petite. I would always wish i was thick and super curvy. So being in my 30s I workout and earned an ok body through fitness and I’m happy. I can careless about having big boobs or a huge butt. And also, I cut out social media’s like Facebook and Instagram. All I have is Snapchat for family members. For myself personally I feel my brain has been detoxed from all of the garbage of what a woman should look like or act like.

Please do more of these dulce! I love listening to you talk about real life genuine things. I always hated my nose but i snapped out of it and overtime i learned to love my nose. everyone is beautiful in their own way and its sad to see people change their looks and aspire to be and look like someone else. its sad.... its good to be inspired but you gotta learn to love you and every feature that you were born with. social media has really influenced a lot of people in a negative way now a days... it sucks that people actually get wrapped up in social media, it distracts people from real life and realtime.... but godbless you girl, thank you for using your platform for greatness 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

Jia shah I'm 23 and I feel the same way! Nothing interests me enough to do as a career. And I don't want to be in school debt 😭 (I don't qualify for FASFA, scholarships, or grants). I don't feel like I have a purpose anymore. It feels awful 😭

Diana Lara you don't have to be in school debt. I used to only work during the weekend as a waitress and save all my money for the next semester. My parents helped with books. I did not have a car. I rode the bus to the university and ended up getting a car until my very last year. I became a teacher and appreciated and valued everything I had/have. Not one cent owed no debts. Spend your money wisely. Everything is possible 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

    Hola Chula!
When you said that thing about life tossing the same thing in ur life until you learn it hit me! I literally just went thru something and realized that I kept making that mistake until I DID learn from it. Another thing I learned is that until you accept who you are you won't be happy no matter how much surgery it
Makeup you wear. I think this all comes with hard lessons and time. Hopefully you come back to Vegas and we can go have dinner n drink with Riss! Xoxo keep up the great videos 😘

I was feeling so broken hearted, depressed and fearful that I couldn't leave the house because of all that is going on in the world. That's my best friend, i love her but when we were in high school it was sooo bad that she literally would only talk about herself. Shes an only child though with older parents so its understandable but i spent a lot of my time giving her attention and advice while i couldn't get it in return. I love your advice on letting people go and although i wouldn't totally let her go, I have definitely started living more for myself more and we don't talk nearly as much because i refuse to entertain someone who cant do the same for me.
