They are capturing the youngs even the younger 14,16years old from roads to homes and sending them to jail. Calling them killers even they did not do anything. 6. Police are checking phones on the road and from the raid to see if we have any proof of what had happened and done by the government. If they find anything related to this, they'll simply delete them , assault the person and send him to jail. Even to girls they are doing the same. 7. After all of this, the government is denying everything that happened and trying pin it on extremists and terrorists. 8. They shot mir mugdho who was not even protesting. He was there to give water to the protesters as it was really hot and humid day. They shot abu sayed who was unarmed.( You can watch the videos just by searching their name in social platforms. 9. After all these teachers , lawyers and even reporters have also joined in the protest. All I said here is true and can be verified. You can ask our brothers and sisters living in UK about it and they'll help you to find the truth.

I am a student from Bangladesh. Our country is currently facing a severe crisis. Over 11,500 people have been injured, and more than 20,000 have been arrested. Tragically, over 1,000 students have lost their lives at the hands of the Bangladesh police, BGB, RAB, ARM, Chatra League, and the ruling party, Awami League. Today was another brutal day for Bangladeshi students, with incidents of open fire resulting in the deaths of students in Khulna, Sylhet, and Dhaka (Uttara). We urgently call for international attention and intervention. Save Bangladeshi students! We demand justice!
Jajakallah khairan, brother Dilly, and Jalal. We are facing an unprecedented situation in Bangladesh. I feel like I'm in Gaza sometimes. People are not safe even in their own homes. The oppression we are going through is unimaginable. Massacares occur in broad daylight. May Allah help the ummah all over the world. From Bangladesh to Palestine, we will win against the evil, inshaAllah.

Alhamdulillah. I am so so thankful this is being covered for the non bengali speaking audience. As a Bengali most of the video I have watched so far in English only cover the partial truth of the matter. The deep corruption within the so called "quota" system is almost never being talked about. Like how the Hasina's government passes out those fake freedom fighter certificate to keep her people in power. The actual freedom fighters are not even benefiting from her corrupt quota system. The strategic game Hasina's regime has been playing in Bangladesh only Bangladeshis truly understand and are afraid to talk about inside the country. Jazakallah Khair ♥

It's not something, but the country itself we are fighting for. Let the world know what the students and people are going through just to ensure our rights. But now the fight isn't limited to obtaining our rights but rather to make our country truly independent once again.
For several years, the Economist famously used the phrase “Battling Begums” to describe Bangladesh’s two successive female prime ministers because they cannot stand each other. In addition to conveying the jealousy and rivalry between the two matriarchs, the expression “Battling Begums” also shows the disastrous effect of their mutual contempt on the political economy of Bangladesh. Khaleda and Hasina were in power since 1991, in quasi-democratic regimes until Hasina's victory in 2008 when she got power and kept it. In some sense, Bangladeshi culture legitimises dynastic democracy. When it comes to power, privileges and legacies, Mujib and Zia “dynasties” are very different from of those Nehru, Bandaranaike or Bhutto. In the absence of a new generation of leaders who are free of the hangover of autocracy and “dynastic” oligarchy, Mujib and Zia dynasties’ legacies will endure indefinitely. In accordance with the dog-eat-dog mentality, Bangladesh has virtually become a perpetual battlefield of the Begums. Khaleda and Hasina both lack administrative experience and skills. Neither of them is highly educated and a good administrator. It was by default that they became leaders. Khaleda succeeded her late husband, President Ziaur Rahman, while Hasina succeeded her late father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the first Prime Minister. They both have their shenanigans, idiosyncrasies and inadequacies. After removing Zia’s name from Dhaka’s International Airport, Hasina has been trying to erase Zia’s memory throughout the country. For example, she has tried to remove Zia’s grave from its current location in Dhaka city by blatantly fabricating that Zia is not buried there, but someone else is (“BNP knows Zia’s body not at Chandrima Udyan: PM”, New Age, Aug 26, 2021.). These efforts are intended to save the Mujib dynasty from extinction or oblivion. By issuing a postage stamp in the names of her son and deceased brother in mid-2021 (with exchequer money), seemingly Hasina is trying to perpetuate her “dynastic rule.” Any semblance of democracy or accountability that existed under Khaleda’s two terms has almost vanished under Hasina. She has been running a one-party dictatorship since 2014, which is notorious for being corrupt and intolerant of opposition. Various reports by the Amnesty International, Journalists Without Border, US Human Rights Watch and other human rights agencies during the past few years have projected the Hasina regime as autocratic, corrupt and tyrannical. The Human Rights Watch report in August 2021 reveals that around 600 people from Bangladesh have been forced to disappear by law enforcement officials since 2009. In comparison to Hasina’s misrule and tyranny, even Ershad’s corrupt civil-military oligarchy seems much more benign, civil and efficient. The recovery from this mess is not likely to be fast and complete.
Zazakallahu khairan brothers for raising your voices about our situation internationally. The circumstance is terrible, it's not just about crakedown on the streets but also the arresting unprotested civilian at the darkness of night with house to house searching and checking of your phone.
I am speaking as a common citizen of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has now become unlivable due to the oppression of the present government. The student quota movement is centered around. These tyrannical governments are firing from helicopters. 😓 Many adults including 3 year old children have been killed in their own homes due to firing. Apart from this 1000+ students have been shot dead indiscriminately by this government. Thousands of students are now missing. Here is another reason why these brutal murders have been used. UN authorized helicopters and equipment. So is the United Nations behind this murder?? But the Bangladesh government has shut down the internet to keep this information secret. So that the international media does not get the correct information. In this situation our wish for the intervention of the United Nations. At the same time, I call on the international media to present the correct information to the United Nations🙏
Thank you both, brothers. ❤️ Hasina is selling our sovereignty and Independence to Modi. She approved India's train to go in Bangladesh, she promised India our Mongla port(Chattagram) handling permission. It’s now or never,we Bangladeshis desperately need her regime to end this time.
I am a university student, and I want to clearly state that Bangladeshi students are not safe. Students are dying every day. The police are openly firing on peaceful protesters. There is no involvement from any third party or opposition party in this movement; they are all common and peaceful students. As an independent nation, we believe in our democracy, our freedom, and our right to free speech and justice. That is why the students of Bangladesh protest against corruption. What is wrong? However, when the government is unfair and autocratic, it raises questions about justice and freedom of speech. The elections in Bangladesh have not been fair. Hasina's government has been supported by the police, army, and the student group, Chhatra League, in every situation where someone speaks up for our rights. Today, August 2, 2024, the students continue their movement, demanding answers for why nearly 268 students have been killed. Why is the government doing this? The government must be held responsible. It is shameful that the police, under government orders, are openly shooting at peaceful protesters. Today, nearly three-quarters of the students are dead. We want justice; otherwise, the situation for students will become dire. The UN should act carefully and ensure justice because our military has used UN-marked weapons, tanks, and helicopters-tools that have been used to kill innocent students. I have a question: Will the students ever achieve their justice?
As a Pakistani, my grandparents and uncles say horrible and demeaning things about Bengalis . But my generation knows Bengalis are Tigers and very thoughtful ❤
Thanks for talking about it...they've killed 1000+ people unjustly including children...also arresting & torturing people indiscriminately including students, teachers & general people...we have no human right or freedom of speech right now here...our media is controlled by the govt...raise voice for us...save Bangladeshi students❌save bangladeshi people, Free bangladesh✅

Students of Bangladesh has called for a non-cooperation movement from today to the entire nation. Everyone now has only one point: resignation of the prime minister. But the awami league government might take violent approach again today in fear of losing their power. It's not only students who are protesting in the field, it's the entire country, people from all profession. Please pray for the Bangladesh and so this ends soon in a manner that benefits everybody, we don't want anymore innocent lives to be lost.

As a British bengali I just wanted to Thank you for this educational piece, the students are the heroes- keep going, Justice will prevail
Bangladeshi's deserve better
She will be found. She will find no peace, even in the grave. I hope God can deliver justice for us. I make prayers for my brothers back home.
Thank you so much for highlighting our issue.
Very grateful for this discussion as a Bangladeshi, Thanks alot! Jazakallahu Khair.
It wqs really needed.
Thank you guys. Love from Bangladesh
Sub Han Allah!! Brother Dilly Hussain was so precise with the informations ! Being a Bangladeshi I can assure whatever he said throughout were all true!
May Allah SWT preserve you brother!
As a Pakistani this has been very educating . It’s true the world including us have been unaware of the ongoing oppression in Bangladesh
We would urge our Bangladeshi brothers that they need to take a stand and to support their students ( like we have started to against our own regime) . We had been victims of western and Indian conspiracies using traitors from within .
May Allah unite the Muslims again in the world under one banner
Please save Bangladesh Please save the students of Bangladesh🇧🇩
You have 200 million people and you asking other people to come and save you hahahaha?
What have you been doing last 20 years?
Why are you in this situation?
Could you not see 20 years ago that this day was coming?

This is one of the best analysis of this situation yet. Thanks Dilly Hossain.
Very informative interview, Thanks for inviting Dilly Hussain . ❤️✌️
Jajakallah dilly Bhai and the Thinking Muslim For dedicating your time for the bangladeshi. I am writing from bangladesh and its my urge that everyone speaks out about it
UK is a very significant player to build International Pressure on the current Hasina Regime.
Thanks a lot for speaking on Bangladesh's issue. ZajakAllahukhairan.
And pray for the students who have died for almost no reason.
thank you for holding this podcast and I thank dilly for so skillfully exposing the real situation of Bangladesh
Thank you brothers Dilly and Jalal for bringing attention to this among our brothers and sisters in the UK and internationally. Brother Paul has also done the same. Have been one of your regular viewers from Bangladesh. I just have one request to you all - please keep talking about this. If you want accounts to follow for the latest updates, comment below and I will share. Those who have engaged in unprecedented levels of mass killings, abductions, detentions, and other crimes against unarmed civilians must be brought to justice.
So proud to follow brother Dilly Hussain’s journey. MashAllah. May Allah bless him always. I hope there are many other fellow Bengalis like him in the future. Intellectually on another level!
Your 'brother' has previously stated that he wishes Bangladesh was still a part of Pakistan. He has never done an episode discussing the Pakistani armies genocide of Bengalis in 1971; including mass killings and rapes. Yet he cries constantly about rights abuses in Palestine. Nobody should take Dilly seriously if he picks and chooses his causes like this. Its totally unIslamic to say one people have more rights than another.
Assalamu alykum I am a student from Bangladesh.. You don't know how much horrible situation we are in right now, the police abducted students at night without any issue, the issue is he/she is a student, they shot us when we wanted Justice for our brothers, sisters, our prime minister is against us how can we survive, we can't sleep can't study our all institutions are closed. Plz stop this inhuman activities, plz save us from the dictator...

I am hopeful that spring is not far away. Just pray for my dead brothers and sisters and the injured.
Hasina isn’t stepping down. All state institutions are full of her supporters.
So how much more blood do you want to spill to topple her and bring in Khaleda and the Jamaatis?
Masha Allah, very rich informations regarding Bangladesh situation human history says students remain all the time on the right side of the history.
I'm from Pakistan
From Bangladesh with love❤
I want to mention that India(Indian intelligence RAW) is backing Hasina Regime for the last 15 years with every kind of help. And you all know India(Indian RAW) is a close friend of Israel (Israeli Mossad). This is the real story..
Assalamualaikum brother,
I'm living in Bangladesh and would love to give an update what's happening as of 1st August 2024.
1. As of death toll, the number exceeds 250. Unofficial we are thinking more then 300-400.
2. Kids as young as 4 years old died at their home from gun shot. And the number is at least 6.
3. They used ak47 . Yes you heard me right, Ak47 in full automatic rifle at the unarmed protesters.
4. They used helicopters to shoot from the air and UN marked vehicles.
5. After all of these, the government didn't stop. They targeted specifc areas of where majority of the students live and did raids to arrest and assault them at mid night which is still going on.
Thank you for this. Love and Power to all the muslims from Bangladesh
May Allah help the people of Bangladesh. Brother can you do a podcast with a Sudanese expert on what’s going on in Sudan?@TheThinkingMuslim.
Thanks for indebt portcast😢
Jalal, can you please have a follow up session with Dilly Hussain? We need to know an insider perspective on recent changes in Bangladesh.
Thanks a lot for sheding light on the critical situation Bangladesh is facing this time.
We have experienced Bloodbath in Bangladesh. It is still not over. #Step_down_dictator.
Thank you brother for Saying the truth.
Thank you for keeping us informed about the condition of the Muslims @thinkingmuslim @5pillars

Jajhakallahu khairan brother for telling everyone what's brutality happening in Bangladesh nowadays
Thank you for featuring this. We really are under a dictator

Masha-Allah bro, thank you so much, for presenting the Truth...♥️
My Allah bless you..
Many thanks for bringing up this issue❤❤
From Bangladesh...❤
Finally, someone understand our actual situation.
Jazakallah khairun.

#KeepIndianPoliticsOutOfBangladesh
Thank you both, brothers. ❤️ Hasina is selling our sovereignty and Independence to Modi. She approved India's train to go in Bangladesh, she promised India our Mongla port(Chattagram) handling permission.
It’s now or never,we Bangladeshis desperately need her regime to end this time.
Jajakillah khairan katheer thinking muslim. I can't thank you enough. Please pray for my country.
Thank you for speaking on this issue.
Thanks and love from Bangladesh
Thank you for talking about this.
From Bangladesh, our students are suffered greatly by the authorities.

Thanks a lot to brother Jalal for bringing brother Dilly Hussain and talking about the current injustice that's happening in Bangladesh.
