    ~~~~~~~~~~~After a bunch a questions about how I manage to recover from a birth with so much to be done I want to introduce you to my secret weapon. Meet Emma from Blessed MomEze, my Postpartum Doula.
    In this video Emma is going to explain what a postpartum doula is and show you how to make a simple herbal product for naturally caring for your baby... Calendula Oil.
    Not only is calendula oil great for cradle cap and “buttering the baby bottom” but it is also a great remedy for any skin problem for your entire family. We use it in combinations for everything from burns and rashes to earaches and swollen lymph glands. AND calendula is easy to grow in your homestead garden and even looks pretty while doing it!
    Wish I had known these types of things when my kids were small. I JUST started getting into gardening, herbs, and natural health when my last child turned 2. I make lots of adult salves with calendula and just love it! Great video and guest!
    Also something to note is to make sure when using calendula that there are not signs of infection because it does heal the body quickly and you don't want to accidentally heal any infection inside cracks or scrapes or wounds..
    Love your videos and the way you keep it "Old School" and do it like the old timers do it rather than what the safety police says!
    Super duper awesome for sore baby bum too! Just have to watch out you don’t use too much when you use cloth diapers cause the oil can cause the cloth to absorb less. You can also make really nice salve by heating and adding beeswax!
    I love calendula! I never have any luck growing it, but I stole my baby butt cream to become my new hand cream because it was so good. I currently have some oil infusing, but I used sweet almond oil, and I can't wait to make up an after gardening cream for myself.
    I am so happy for you to have another healthy baby, a great Blessing from God Alone. I am also happy for you that you have the nice Emma to help you!!! I ask God humbly to Bless her. My father was a naturopathic doctor and he wanted me born at home, with him present and I was. I had my five children without pain drugs and cutting. I thank God. I like that you and your daughters keep long hair, and that you wear skirts and use natural fiber clothing. I ask God humbly to Bless you. Sincerely, Jocelyn from the Philadelphia area, USA
    For the Calendula oil, can you substitute olive oil with coconut oil?
    I trained in a hospital with midwives. Never heard of post-partum dula. I know I am not spelling right. One of my duties was after care of moms and babies while on unit. How do you become postpartum dula in regular world?
    I'm surprised your chickens didn't eat all your calendula flowers! They go nuts for them! If you have any left over and don't know what to do with them, feed them to the chickens, and it will make their yolks a bright orange and keep also deter mites!
