To be honest I really hope ring will be released. As a heavily tattooed guy, with 2 sleeves covered my smartwatch is very limited, especially when it comes to most of the fitness apps functionality. Therefore ring might be an answer for a lot of us, with wrists completely covered :)
The only thing I want in a smart ring that no one's done yet is just a simple force touch button that lets you control music/kill alarms/answer calls/engage siri. Something I don't have to pull my phone out/lift my wrist to eye level for.

I have a tough time with my wedding band but do not notice wearing a garmin fenix 7x watch around the clock. In fact, have been married 21 years and only wear the wedding band for social occasions. My hands are always on a keyboard and the sensation or weight of band is too much. Have considered a Ridge metal and silicone band pairing but curious on Apple's execution of this.
Well if Apple comes out with a ring, I hope they do a regular style ring and they do a ring ultra for people with big fingers. Or do an adjustable ring cause personally I hate wearing rings since they are either to big or too small but if Apple made a ring that could fit big hands, I would give it a try

Complete opposite, I like rings, but I'm constantly hitting them on something or they snag on things, so I prefer wearing a watch, and even when I'm not wearing a watch I’m constantly checking my bare wrist for the time!
I really want an apple ring. I would love for a ring to talk to the apple watch. I have tattoos and run in to a lot of problems with the apple watch. If there was an apple ring that could talk to the apple watch then maybe I could use its sensors instead? I don't know. I can only hope!

Answer: I’m buying neither. Apple’s doesn’t exist and Samsung doesn’t support blood pressure monitoring, plus Samsung has a buggy algorithm for tracking deep sleep. I have three Samsung watches and none of them could track deep sleep for longer than 30 minutes per night when my other devices say i get the typical 90 minutes worth.
