Aylin is so classically aasimar with that last line. Straight forward and direct. It was hilarious and adorable.
Lawful Honest
She was likely getting frustrated that everyone was talking and she needed to get some alone time with Isobel.
And so much taller than Isobel as well lmao. I appreciate the lore-accurate height
to be fair, she dreamed about being reunited with her loevd one for a litteral century, you can pardon her for bezing thirsty I think
It was already cute, but then she picked her up and spun and my fucking heart just couldnt take it omg
History will say they were good friends
and they were roommates
*Very* good friends. With benefits!
not even a joke I thought they were mother and daughter, only after I noticed they are a couple xDD
Just gals being pals!
Historian: "These texts say that they were raw dogging within three minutes of being reunited, which of course was a common way of greeting a good friend in that time period."
Me: *struggles against kethrick for a while, gets a clutch kill*
Game: "you did it! here, have some moon lesbians as a treat :>"
Me: : D
Yay moon lesbians!
Sailor Moon’s Haruka and Michiru big time lol
If you try and continue the conversation after this scene, Aylin carries on being a hornbag and Isobel apologises to Tav and the group in embarrassment 😆
I am surprised no one in the party is blind from how bright the weapons shine
That could be us Shadowheart, but you playin'
Wdym shadowheart was CONSTANTLY ready to take succor in my Tav’s body. Almost flipped my Astarion run all the way around
Shadowheart wanted to fuck me even though I didn‘t really talk to her
FOR REAAAAAALLL 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
"We must take succour in one another's bodies and words." I love it.
Very Commander Shepard vibes. "Report to the ship. We'll bang okay?"
I was bummed Aasimar wasn’t a playable option but Aylin makes up for most of it.
there's a mod on pc :D
This scene was such a wonderfully wholesome surprise!! After such a difficult battle and a bunch of crazy story reveals, coming back downstairs and seeing these two reunite was such a lovely change of pace 💖
I had no idea they were a couple until I saw this scene! They're so adorable 🥰
The way Aylin "requests" that you leave so that she can *enjoy her lover* is just amazing omg we know who wears the pants 🤣
So glad this game has such positive representation ✨

Ah yes, of course 😂

They were roommates.
saving nightsong was the best quest for me😭
I just got this scene in game and RACED to youtube hoping there was a good quality clip of it, thank you very much, i'm going to send this to all of my non-BG3 friends lmao
You're telling me there are people in these comments who are watching this video just to complain about it??
Yeah, somehow 2 lesbians is immersion breaking in a game where you can play as a Dragonborn romancing a whole harem of diffrent characters
They hate lesbians and fetishize them at the same time.
Just rightards being snowflakes as usual lmao
@@marbleherogaming735god forbid that the literal CHILD ANGEL of the moon goddess is lesbian after defeating the god of bones 😂. Its do hilarious how homophobes hate on anythings that LGBTQ in a game where gods actually exist
Welcome to youtube! People are idiots.
The moment her armor dawned onto her body I was immediately invested, than this scene right here made Dane Aylin my favorite character.
I was struck with emotions whom reminded me so much of my gf & I (We haven’t seen one another in well over a year, difficult situations..)
Still ever hopeful to the day times get better and the distance is closed off~!
(That day cometh Imma raise and spin her just like Mumma Aylin~! 😛)
I wish you the best with your girlfriend ! I'm rooting for you even though I don't know you, I really hope you'll get to be reunited with your Isobel soon ❤️
Awww! I love how cute the Moon Lesbians are!
Bg3 really said moon lesbians
And they were campmates.
Not gonna lie, I was so possed at first as after defeating Kethrick and long resting, I ended up reloading a save (no space apparently for the autosave) and it reloaded just before his second fight. I was soooooo pissed as that fight took me ages to get, I didn’t expect this when I walked up to her in the Towers and it was such a cute scene that made me so happy to see this, also wasn’t as mad at myself either as I would have missed if I hadn’t accidentally reloaded 😂
*Sigh* I just want to play as an Aasimar :( Dame Aylin get's the tragic character backstory I want damn it!!!
if you're on PC there are several mods that let you play as an aasimar! it'd still be neat to have them in the game proper but it can fill the void at least a little
Fought well? Aylin i killed him before it was your turn, dont steal my glory xD
That’s how they be
To be fair, she calls you "the slayer of the wicked one" when you talk to her in camp 😅
I fucking loved this scene.
They're such good friends. 😊
Ahh, how I wish it’s me instead of Isobel sometimes😛🥰
In my playthrough I had caustic brine in the doorway, which killed Isobel instantly somehow at the start of this scene and made Aylin hostile, which feels great considering how long it took me to beat ketheric
Classic Isobel move tbh
Omg, I relate to this so much.
This happened to me too. The brine was from a fight at earlier in the game long before Isonel arrived. She didn't even die, but she took damage from it and Jaheira left the party. I had to reload and fight Myrkul again, then immediately use create water to wash away the acid after returning
Me who hasn't gotten this game yet. And using clips to satisfy me in till I can. how do you get this scene I definitely want to get this scene it's adorable to me ❤
somewhat a big spoiler but this is at the very end of act 2 after the final fight, you'll get it if you do the "good" playthrough and go up to talk to these characters :)

Adding on to the spoilers:
The way I managed is:
There’s a fight where the enemy attempts to kidnap Isobel. Save Isobel.
Additionally, rescue Aylin’s character from her prison.
Then when you defeat the final boss, they will reunite
I love this reunion scene. So beautiful and heartfelt.
Aylin hadn't had any in a century so give a girl a break for being ... anxious.
In my playthrough, Isobel got knocked out and kidnapped by a random vampire back at the last light inn, then she was under some sort of brain control durning the Ketheric Thorm second phase and I had to fight her. Me and my homie tried our best not to kill her, but then we released Nightsong, and she full on hunted her down and killed her, even though Ketheric was like two hits away from death. It sort of ruined a whole segment of the plotline, but we were laughing our asses off durning this scene, when she started mourning after Isobel. LIKE BITCH, YOU LITERALLY CHASED HER DOWN AND KILLED HER. Oh well, at least I got a cool slayer form for my dark urge lol.
Such good friends awww 😊
"and they were Selunemates..."
So Nightsong is an Aasimar.
Yes, it's mentioned by someone on your way down Shar's Maze..... though she's a bit more than the typical Aasimar. Most aasimar have some celestial parantage... like an angil or deva is their parent... While Aylin is 'technically' an Aasimar... she's more of a demigod. Her mom is literally a goddess.
Just open her character sheet it's clearly written
@@pierpaolobolognini Don't have the sheets yet. I'm a console peasant, and therefore must wait until the 6th.
@@Tyrantlizard127 oh okay you already know a lot for someone who hadn't a chance to play yet
@@pierpaolobolognini Helps that I've played D&D before, and know enough about it.
I love these two. I actually see quite a bit of resemblance between this couple and Astarion and Dark Urge: one tied to a god of death, another cursed to immortality, suffering decades of torment alone, inescapable fruitiness
What are the stapes for this scene ? I think I had a glitch in my run.
I save Isobel, I went in the Chosen of Shar, I save Nightsong with Shadowheart. I went in Moonrise Tower, I killed Ketheric Thorm and Nightsong wasn't in the castle. I never seen this scene and Shadowheart has always black hair at the end of the game.
I forgot somthing ? I don't understand why she isn't here
i think you have a glitch, nightsong should be in the top with you to kill Ketheric Thorm and the second phase in the warship
That sounds like your game is bugged. If you free Aylin, she should be present for all phases of the fight with Ketheric, and this scene should play, provided you managed to protect Isobel at Last Light. Shadowheart's hair changes once you enter Act 3. If you've already gone far past this section, I wouldn't worry about it, but if you do another run and this happens again, I suggest loading an earlier save from before the bug manifested. That usually fixed any bugged encounters I ran into.
Your Tav’s looking like Adam Levine lmfao
Really wish these two became playable in our group
This scene was so laggy for me, it's nice to see it in such quality!!
I know the melody is down by the river but I need to know the name of this track. It’s so emotional heroic and beautiful.
it’s either Main Theme Pt.2 or 3 😊
Some of the best lesbian writing
So... Isobel doesn't care for her dad much as she think of Aylin 😂😂😂😂❤
He did torture her lover for over a century
Her dad sucks
She did say she wished him peace on his death, which means she did care.
I thought she may have been Shadowheart’s mother as knew about her fear of wolves but found out later in game she wasn’t. Was never explained how she knew about that though?
Aylin knows because of the justiciars coming to kill her were lied to about why they were doing it. Shadowhesrt is not the first person kidnapped and memory wiped to kill dame. If you mean specifically the wolves memory, that's a selune vs shar thing. Aylin is selune daughter and her power can banish shars darkness and that was clouding sharts memory.
I thought that was going go be the case too!
Quick question is a love like this real? because I would love to love someone this extreme
What, did selune accidentally fatfinger isobel's soul into the fugue plane?
Or is it something to do with the way she died
Good question. I know souls wait ten days in the Fugue plane before they get judged or collected by their god. During that time they can be claimed by other gods if they know how or have devils/Baatezu bargain with them.
My theory is that Myrkul got his hands on Isobel's soul before the ten days to use as a bargaining chip with Kethric.
@@snappycenter7863
My theory is that Ketheric turned to Myrkul and begged him to resurrect Isobel if he became Myrkul’s chosen, this led to Myrkul commanding him to betray Aylin.
The darkness Isobel describes sounds more like Shar's realm than the Fugue Plane. A common theory that I tend to agree with is that this is another example of Shar taking from Selune like she does with Shadowheart - in this case Isobel's life/soul, Aylin's love/joy, and Ketheric himself.
Step 1: Shar arranges Isobel's death, likely sending assassins after her. Selune's loyal Paladin as well as her own daughter are devastated by the loss and both weakened as a result. Knowing this was coming and having equal claim to what is Selune's Shar is able to claim Isobel's soul as soon as she dies and take it to her realm rather than Selune's.
Step 2: Ketheric Thorm is devastated by the loss of his daughter on top of his wife, and Sharrans just so happen to be there to convert him. He's fiercely devoted to Shar in the aftermath, forcefully converting all of his followers and killing those Selunites who refused to convert. He oversees the creation of one of the strongest Sharran strongholds in existence in Grymforge/Gauntlet of Shar Temple, and eventually becomes the anchor of the physical manifestation of her influence as the Shadowcurse.
Step 3: Balthazar - likely sent by Myrkul as part of the long game to eventually revive Isobel for the Absolute plot - creates the soul cage and arranges for Aylin to be lead to the Shadowfell under the guise of 'helping' someone, creating the Nightsong and completing the Gauntlet, providing hundreds if not thousands of Dark Justicars over the century Ketheric ruled all while Selunes flesh and blood suffers torture and death.
Ketheric might claim to be the most loyal servant Myrkul ever had, but Shar benefited from him more than any of his other masters, and it's not particularly close.
@@ashec.6824 just to add some mystery, I think the world might have been in the middle of the spell plague when Isobel died.
@@ashec.6824 I thought maybe Ketheric accidentally killed Isobel during an argument over Aylin.
Like maybe Aylin needed to leave and Isobel planned on going with her but had an argument with Ketheric- Ketheric hating Aylin blamed her for Isobel's death. I do find it ironic Ketheric hated Aylin for being immortal, but had no issue claiming her imortality for himself
He turned to Shar, but it wasn't enough so made a deal with Myrkul and Balthazaar to bring Isobel back for a price and used some of Shar's power too which caused the Shadowcurse.
Ketheric needed combined power of Shar, Selune-through Aylin and Myrkul to bring Isobel back. I think Isobel has some of Aylin's powers/ life force which is why if Aylin is killed by you or Shadowheart then Isobel's magic fades.
I do wonder how Ketheric convinced Isobel Aylin was dead- how do you convince someone their immortal lover died?
What a shame she's already taken
Ikr. You save their entire bloodline, and they don't event invite you to join in by the end of it. Smh.
Whats the name of the music playing during the scene?
I didn't get this scene, maybe should've passed those checks in the tavern where you can suspect Isobel being Ketheric's daughter. Thankfully, UA-cam recommended me your video so I get to see those two reunited regardless. Was startled when your avatar walked into the scene, mine is a female halfling so the difference is drastic haha

Hey! did Jaheira leave you when you let them in to camp? When I do this Jaheira leaves my party, was wondering if its a bugged or something i done wrong ?
I still have Jaheira with me in camp, you may have hit a bug
@@emackenzie Jaheira vanished in my second playthrough as well even though she was alive 😒
Might depend on what you said to Jaheira when you first arrive at the tower there are options for her to join you fully or join you part time just for that battle then she goes off and does her own thing.
Well, shit, I missed out, lol. I did everything right. I somehow overlooked them in the post Ketheric fight. Both Aylin and Isobel were alive and I saved Last Light Inn, but I just didn't talk to them after the fight. Not because I didn't want. Just because it slipped my mind somehow. I either didn't see them in the tower or, if I did, I didn't start a conversation with them for some reason. Ah, well. Something new to look forward to for next time, lol.
Why the fuck did I think Aylin was her mother?
Because she is tall
Dame Aylin is literally so sweet when she's not angry ❤
How is it that I didn’t get this scene did I miss the part?
In a different country they would be cousins 🤣🤣🤣
Why didn’t I get this scene ?? I saved her
Did you speak to Isobel at the camp area in the tower after killing Thorm? And freeing Aylin during the Myrkul fight?
Because if you did both of those things and saved her in the shadowfel then maybe it’s a bug.

@@gnelfpmeh Well that depends on the playthrough. That said she is also manic from finally killing the persons who tortured her for over a century so
@@gnelfpmeh I don't know about your playthrough, but when I released the Aylin from her prison in the Ketheric fight, she was getting spanked hard by Ketheric. In mind we were steadily burning him down in phase 2 of tbe underground fight and while she missed her first attack, she had another ready where she crit so hard it ended him right there.

ketheric tortured aylin for a hundred years, what are you on about lmao
Well, he kept her in captivity for 100 years, had her killed over and over again by Dark Justiciar candidates, fed on her immortality...it's normal that she wouldn't exactly mourn his demise.
What are you talking about 😂😂
Aylin literally goes "For all his sins, he brought you back to me." in this scene. Sounds like she is grateful to me-

Don't cancel me, but I thought it was super cringe
Why? Would you have thought it cringe if her lover was a man, isidor instead of isobel?
@@Einomar Did you not here that dialogue? It was super unnatural and gave me a boomers on Tik-Tok vibe. Like the game really really wanted you to know that these two women are in a relationship. Dragon Age and Mass Effect had gay relationships too and they was written beautifully most of the time. Some of the dialogue in this game be super eager to show off the gay relationships to the point that it's like, Ok I get it already, like another one that comes to mind was the gnomes in the underdark having a whole romance scene play out in the background, you can sort of tell that they was in some kind of relationship but one of them had to just shout out they was husbands for no reason like they just wanted the player to know. If it was a man and a woman I think most people would just be rolling their eyes about how cheesy it is. The fact that it's a gay scene I think makes people ignore the writing.
Yeah, I felt the same. I don't have a problem with them being gay at all, I just feel any chemistry between them and felt the dialogue was very stunted. Maybe it's because their whole relationship happened offscreen over a hundred years ago or the overdramatic, intense way Aylin speaks (which makes sense given she's the immortal daughter of a Goddess don't get me wrong). I dunno, I just wasn't feeling it.
@@anthonywilliams3606 This exact thing happens with every sraight character too though, even more so too so why are you complaining about the gay ones instead of just all the romances?
There is an entire questline that goes on for all 3 acts from 2 of the thieflings were every dialog is just how much they love eachother, Gale talking about how in great detail he fucked Mystra and gets repeated several times, Myrena talking about how much she loved her husband in act 1 and 3, her entire questline is basically her just talking about how much she loves Conner and then getting revenge on the Hag for using Conner to get to her.
Again, this isn't just the gay relationships, its every relationship. Well except maybe Alfira and Lakrissa, but that is a gay relationship, so doesn't fit with your argument
@@FishAndKid I thought the romance in the game overall was pretty cringe and poorly written in general. Didn't really explore Gales story with the Goddess, been ignoring him because it felt like he was coming onto my character every time I try to advance his story. Haven't finished the game yet, finished the boss battle at the towers and been too busy to finish beating it. Don't even remember the two Triflings, I could have missed it or ignored it early in the game. I think Myrena was the girl kidnapped by the hag and I revived her husband as a zombie. Definitely wasn't what I'd call cringe, it was dark actually. Thought it was hilarious when she basically took her zombie husband as a pet. Isobel & Aylin stands out in particular because it sounds like they're acting in a play and was a major storyline. The two guys in the Under dark kept looping their dialogue in that small area so I was paying attention instead of just running past them and missing it. The problem isn't gay storylines, it's the writing. I thought Dorian and Iron Bull was hilarious in DAI, romanced Sara with a female character. Played Fem Shep in all three mass effects because of her God their voice acting and romance Liara.
Ah well shadow heart stabbed her in my playthrough oops /shrug isobel is already dead so no biggie /shrug
