    It looks beautiful. I need help with my fish tank. I have 55gallon and I got tetra 60g air pump but it wont work with gang valves or t connector. I would like it to work with several air stones and sponge filter. I have tried searching online and tried setting up as mentioned in different videos but only filter work and air stone don't. Once I block the air from filter then airstone works. I have tried that with several air pumps. I face same issue. I do put check valve and level the tubing. Nothing working. My air pumps are new. Please help.

    LOL at that ugly nightmare...I've seen tanks that look like a scuba diving class. I experimented some with putting hoses in driftwood, seems to help. But I dunno, all those big and little bubbles give the tank texture! Entertains your fish!

    GReat video, Al. And timely for me now that I'm adding a couple sponge filters to my 65. Looks matter! I see too many tanks that look like lab experiments. Mine's planted with lots of stone and driftwood and I want to keep it looking natural.
    Any thoughts on rigid straight pipes? I can't hide the lines completely but I'd rather have a straight line to the bottom than a wavy spaghetti thing (even with suction clips). Not sure how I would connect it to flexible line at either end, to the pump and to the sponge.
    Thanks! Subscribed!

      @BigAlsVOD  6 років тому +1

      Rigid acrylic tubing would work. You can use a piece of flexible airline, dip it in a cup of warm water to soften it, and then you should be able to put it on the rigid tube.

      This is a year on but if anyone else finds it useful burying your airstone deeper produces larger bubbles.

    You can def do better than the mess he made at the end of this. One option, cut a gray 1/2" PVC attached with 2 suction cups and run all 4 inside that in the corner. Plus other ways.

    Air stones are unnecessary. Air pumps are loud and annoying. I don't use any air ornaments or stones I hate all the noise that air pumps make.
