Hi Thomas, Love your presenting style.!! Has me in stiches every time. Keep these vids coming as they are REALY educational and fun too.!! This vid has just solved an issue I have right now. Thanks for the great vid and advice. Keep up the great work. :-)
Where do you get those black L joint connectors? I haven't been able to find any. Do local hardware stores carry them or some specific website? Any links would be great!
hi sir I want to ask a question .... at my house in India water comes from underground and when it pump up our water storage tank it from a crispy cream Wight colour sub .... so while I do water change to my 240gallon tank can I use that water directly ........ plz answer ... and love your videos......
It looks beautiful. I need help with my fish tank. I have 55gallon and I got tetra 60g air pump but it wont work with gang valves or t connector. I would like it to work with several air stones and sponge filter. I have tried searching online and tried setting up as mentioned in different videos but only filter work and air stone don't. Once I block the air from filter then airstone works. I have tried that with several air pumps. I face same issue. I do put check valve and level the tubing. Nothing working. My air pumps are new. Please help.
Hi there nice vedio thanks a lot. I have a 240 l tank and I have FX6 Fluval filter my problem is when the air pump bush out air bubbles then the FX 6 flow hits them then I have lot of micro bubbles all over the aquarium be live it or not I spend a complete day to fix it but did not find the way. Can you help me by advising what shall I do ? Thank you very much
My aquarium already has water and fish in it, any tips? (I wasn't going to add any bubbling but it is a big tank so I had to. Plus I found this awesome octupus that moves!)
Hi Thomas! I've got a question for u! It's not about the video, it's about RODI units! can u recommend one that is very easy to assemble & understand please? Thank you!! 😀
LOL at that ugly nightmare...I've seen tanks that look like a scuba diving class. I experimented some with putting hoses in driftwood, seems to help. But I dunno, all those big and little bubbles give the tank texture! Entertains your fish!
GReat video, Al. And timely for me now that I'm adding a couple sponge filters to my 65. Looks matter! I see too many tanks that look like lab experiments. Mine's planted with lots of stone and driftwood and I want to keep it looking natural. Any thoughts on rigid straight pipes? I can't hide the lines completely but I'd rather have a straight line to the bottom than a wavy spaghetti thing (even with suction clips). Not sure how I would connect it to flexible line at either end, to the pump and to the sponge. Thanks! Subscribed!
Rigid acrylic tubing would work. You can use a piece of flexible airline, dip it in a cup of warm water to soften it, and then you should be able to put it on the rigid tube.
Hi Thomas I like your videos really good work I am beginner at this I will start small I bought 3.5 gallons tank it came with the filter but I don't know if I need a air pump for the fish I am thinking of putting 3 fish in there 2 neon tetras and betta fish do I need the air pump please let me know thanks
You can def do better than the mess he made at the end of this. One option, cut a gray 1/2" PVC attached with 2 suction cups and run all 4 inside that in the corner. Plus other ways.
NICE, I WISH THAT I WOULD HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE I SET UP MY AQUARIUM
Lots and lots of bubbles. And that spaceship.... I need to get it lol I thought it was dumb at first but had no idea it floated up and it's cool 😆
Mimics the natural environment so well 😂 it’s pretty wild though 👽

hi thomas,is it pssible to have less bubbles but bigger in size..??
This is a year on but if anyone else finds it useful burying your airstone deeper produces larger bubbles.
Awesome!
Where does one get that plastic tubing organizer that you place on the side of the tank?
at your local pet shop
genius!!!!!
HE'S BACK!
Thomas!
Do I really need an air pump for aquarium or just the filter
Hi Thomas I like your videos really good work I am beginner at this I will start small I bought 3.5 gallons tank it came with the filter but I don't know if I need a air pump for the fish I am thinking of putting 3 fish in there 2 neon tetras and betta fish do I need the air pump please let me know thanks

Air stones are unnecessary. Air pumps are loud and annoying. I don't use any air ornaments or stones I hate all the noise that air pumps make.
