By the way doto this games story goes all the way through to Omega Shenron without skipping a beat AND has many many side storys and what ifs. Please continue this series, this is an untapped trove of content for the channel and I will be watching every single video you put out on it.
This series is bringing back some good memories. I used to play this game nonstop with my mother and two siblings. We found out that the story mode could be easily beaten by using the rush moves and spamming them as often as we could. Once we beat the story mode we did some world tournament modes to get every character and then just had fun in the multiplayer.
That first piccolo grab was a beautiful moment and reminded me why bt2 was goated. So many more unique animations for the characters. Even the full power rush has unique animations on how they start for raditz and the saibaman, raditz starts with the weird double chop thing he did to goku and saibaman starts with a dive tackle, like he's about to explode
"thats an easy punish-" *AND i took that personally* wtf!, i swear the dev programmed ears on this piccolo just to make a liar outa doto. the way he about faced and SKEDADLED to the wall into a counter rush and easily keeping pace with doto's blitz almost released me from this world via laughter.
I'm also a sucker for the What-Ifs, especially because they can range from reasonable (Raditz shares Goku's weaknesses of having his tail grabbed and concussive brain injuries) to the utterly deranged (Frieza and King Cold's invasion of Earth is met by neither Goku nor Trunks, but Devilman). I really hope that Sparking Zero has a bunch of them.
I actually just finished rewatching the entire What If, I love the storyline but this is one of the hardest what ifs in the series…& you are under equipped. I’ll pray for you man.
Always when a game has a really hard fight, the first couple of attempts take pretty long and can even get surprisingly close, then there is the halfway mark where it's just going horribly and constantly need to reset and finally at the start figuring out better strats/cheeses, getting closer and closer to winning until it finally happens. This is a universal thing with everyone and every hard boss fight. (Btw I'm dyslexic and not native English speaker so don't crucify me if I got some words wrong)
Seeing Doto play through this brought back so many amazing childhood memories. I didn't even understand English at the time but game was just fun to play

I haven't played this game myself (that I remember) but from last episode it seems like your level is just the total of your stats- there are 8 stats that all start at 1, so the starting level is 8. The only way to raise those stats (and thus your level) seem to be through equipment, and it seems like it's actually the equipment that levels up instead of you, seeing that you suddenly unlocked "health up" +2-5 in the menu without buying anything new after you won a fight. So basically you're not gonna get anywhere if you don't buy equipment, unless you wanna do Infinite World all over again.
Never seen Doto this mad, I actually believed for a second he was gonna re-enact that moment, when a Swedish man said something wild on a bridge out of pure anger 😂
I swear it was like this Piccolo was learning. You'd cheese him one round and the next round he's vanishing High Power Rushes, destroying trees, and paralyzing fools
To disengaged your opponent you either hit them with an ultimate attack or hit them with them air combo by pressing square 3 or 4 then press triangle to hit into air immediately press X up and triangle to stunned them press square 3 or 4 times and hit triangle to knocked them down this makes the lose their sight on you. Don't know that how it's done I haven't played the game in years but I hope it helps
The sad thing is, a lot of these chokes were cause you were playing too defensively without understanding the defensive mechanics of the game, like pressing guard and a direction at just the right time to teleport dodge, or the fact that this game has directional guards to block against charged melee attacks to stun your opponent, and dash attacks can be guarded against but it'll temporarily break your guard and you can only do it from the front (so a melee special that dashes into you from the side or back can still hit) and doing a full ki dash into a melee dashing special will cause one of those control stick spinning clashes. Not being prepared for those is why you kept losing in them. By the time you noticed and reacted to the clash, the opponent (Piccolo) already had a 10 point lead. You actually kept up with or outpaced him most times, you just started late. Gotta be ready for those the second you start a dash attack and just start inputting it whenever you're about to hit the opponent, just in case he catches you with the clash. No other way to win the tough post-game fights like this
A tip from a pro doto. You need to understand that there are multiple types of guards. You have only used neutral guard and thats the easiest to beat. You need to guard in the direction the enemy is hitting. Also, you need to buy evolution z slot extenders so you can have more items. Try putting one of each type instead of all the same since they level up as you fight. Rush attacks can be countered by dashing at the enemy and starting a clash. Also last but not least your playing end game content at the beginning. This mode is made for people who have beaten the game
So, apparently in this what if, Piccolo traveled back in time to the Saiyan Saga and fused with himself before Raditz arrived. That's the only way to explain him having Light Grenade that early.
Doto used it against raditz in the first video. Tenkaichi 2 didn't have multiple versions of characters so they just had one set of moves, hence doto using spirit bomb against raditz.
