In the fifty-first episode Lady Colin Campbelll and Misha discuss Diana, Princess of Wales's nanny Mary Clarke contacting The Sunday Times to contradict her and Charles Spencer's unjust interpretation of their mother's supposed abandonment of them, and what really happened at the time of their parents' divorce; Ruth, Lady Fermoy's snobbish motivation for testifying against her daughter Frances during two custody hearings and the divorce between her and the Spencer children's father, the late Johnnie Lord Althorp later Lord Spencer; the subsequent bitterness which was never resolved within the family; its legacy into the present; James Hewitt and Diana's admissions to Lady C that he was not Harry's father and their confirmation that they met at a drnks party at Hazel West's long after Harry was born; Diana's flirtation with the Earl of Pembroke and Montgomery between the birth of Princes William and Harry; whether Lady C used to curtsy to the Duchess of Windsor, and how Wallis would've been one of the greatest heiresses of her day had she put her financial interests above her principles.

Thank you so much Misha & Lady C! While reading your book, "The Real Diana" I was flabbergasted by the cruel treatment Frances received by the courts, her mother, her ex-husband and in some ways her youngest children. I liked and still like Princess Diana but, she was flawed by it all. Yes, she also I heard returned her Mum's letters unopened for 4 months before she died in a crash. Her mum was heartbroken and became recluse. I think her childhood affected her but, I didn't know her and I don't idolize anyone too. I see people idolizing NutMeg and I am like you don't know her. I mean I never knew Priincess Diana but, I did like her and it takes 2 to make a marriage work. She perhaps, married too young also seems all the children were affected which is typical in those circumstances. Could not imagine.

According to Taz, Celt news, and Murky Meg all periodically highlight what the other Royals get up to. I believe Lady Sophie Countess of Wessex recently went into self isolation as she was exposed to the virus during charitable endeavors. She has already had it, but apparently you don't develop antibodies that prevent you from getting it again. Lady Sophie is being safe, and responsible by self isolating with her family for the next fortnight to ensure that she doesn't pass the virus on to anyone else especially her Majesty the Queen and Prince Philip.
The channels that I mentioned regularly announceme when any of the Royal family has done anything that they can find announcements for. They also report the dastardly duo Moaning Myrtle, Handbag Harry and little Merchie.

Wallis is a tragic figure, while Markle is an ordinary cheap discrepancy, hungry for money ,,
and King Edward was popular among the people, because of his real qualities - he was interested in the economic developments in the factories, he personally visited (documentaries) in order to improve something together. so the people said that they did not care who he would choose as his wife, that they wanted Edward to be king, but the court did not relent. .. probably Wallis wouldn't jump in front of his position like Markle does to Harry.

Thank you for telling the truth about Wallis Simpson. I cringe when they compare Meghan to Wallis. Absolutely no comparison. Wallis was a very talented Southern Lady from a fine old Southern Family. Meghan is just a common Blue Collar American. Nothing wrong with that; but do not compare the two of them. Wallis had incredible, elegant taste in everything from her clothes to her homes and gardens. Once your friend, always your friend. Meghan uses people then throws them away and Wallis begged and pleaded with David not to abdicate under any circumstances, which of course he chose to do.I admired Wallis and have absolutely no respect for Meghan nor Harry who desperately needs help ASAP.

I simply cannot understand keeping Archie away from the Queen and Prince Phillip considering their ages. Royalty aside, they are up in age and his great-grandparents. Shameful, in my beliefs. Those 12 th graders did not need to hear about breast feeding or why Meghan said certain things on a past royal tour. They used this venue for selfish purposes. I think MM realized this toward the end and quickly asked the 3 teens how they were doing qftervthey politely asked her how she was doing if shecwas doing ok. And Harry was advocating not always going to doctors but to your friends. Their quasy counseling was too authoritative. And a good portion was spent telling these kids how bad social media was. HI LADY C, A QUESTION ABOUT CHARLES AND CAMILLA: was it true that Charles and Camilla's affair continued before and after Charles' marriage (as Diana claimed) or did it only pick up again years later after the marriage "had irretrievably broken down" (as Charles claimed)?

It is interesting when people speculate about Charles and Camilla’s “affair” and when it stopped; was it before his marriage to Diana or did it continue after. I think it’s important to define what constitutes an affair and consider the components associated with it: Both the physical as well as the emotional. Someone can be infatuated with another person outside a marriage (or in committed relationship) and have a strong bond even when sex cannot play a part for whatever reason. For the woman or man who is married/committed to such a person it can be a painful experience knowing about the infatuation; it still feels like a betrayal. Charles may not have been physically intimate with Camilla leading up to and immediately after his marriage to Diana, but feeling like second best knowing that he was emotionally invested elsewhere must have been devastating for Diana.

For Camilla's part, I think that she realized that she had fallen out of love with Andrew.

What I said is that they resembled each other when Phillip was younger. What I mean by resemblance is in terms of similar or familial inherited traits - things like bone structure, facial contours and similar facial features, etc. I base this on my objective perception, not an emotional one - but at the same time I also tend to agree about a person's negative behavior diminishing any sort of attractiveness they may have had..

He gets his ginger hair from his mother's side of the family... a child is a combination of not only their immediate parents but also their own parents, parents and so on.
I have green eyes, and my mother has blue/green eyes, my father had brown and my brother has blue eyes. My mother's mother has blue But her mother had green eyes, as did my maternal grandmother's sister. My mother's father had blue eyes as did his parents and siblings. I had the great pleasure of meeting her in Oban, in the west of Scotland where she lived as a reclusive almost. She went about her life in a very ordinary way, she was a deeply religious-woman, worshipping regularly at the Cathedral Church and working very hard for local charities. I had no idea who she was the first time I met her, yet one could not fail to be very taken by her lovely disposition. Her husband married her when she was 18 , he treated her despicably, he was a bully, and her mother was a traitor and a crashing snob.

I don't know if that combination of rich, bohemian fabrics paired with jewels started with Miss Taylor but she did it well and looked gorgeous. And she didn't have to worry about her waistline! Your look today is fabulous and you sport several styles so well, if I may say so: regal, smart, sporty, current/modern, etc. You are someone we ladies can use as a role model for a variety of looks and, most importantly, how to do it tastefully. Thank you to both of you. I particularly enjoyed today’s chat.
Lady C you have a charming way of peppering your recall of history with wonderfully juicy morsels of insider information.
Your videos are, without question, in a league if there own.
    Uniquely entertaining and informative.

( this is a continuation from the above, sorry!)
And the integrity and diligence of your research. You are such a wordsmith that I then read The Real Diana and A Life Worth Living and am now onto The Queen’s Marriage. I am positively addicted! May you write many more fascinating books. Chapeau, Lady C 🌺

As Wallis and David didn't have any children, and Wallis didn't appear to want any, even if they had've been King & Queen, wouldn't Elizabeth eventually have been Queen when her uncle died in 1972 as the next in line?

for Americans, ppl in the Great Houses keep the best jewelry in their Bank, in the vaults....so they have to phone the bank, deliver the key to the security box/visit, have the Bank deliver the jewels, and when they''re done, the security has to take the jewels back to the bank...as Lady C says, a LOT of palaver!!

So interesting. Thank you for the clarification of the difference between Wallis and Meghan. Wallis had a soul; I wonder whether Meghan does.
