The coffee shop, Y Sospan translates roughly to The Saucepan and there's an old Welsh song, "the saucepan is burning"
The town is pronounced Doll geth Lee. Just so you know! 😉

We absolutely loved that cafe, such a random find, a reason we love to travel. Wales is a great place to be on the motorcycle, especially snowdonia! I don’t think il ever be able to pronounce the Welsh names tho! Do you know of any other hidden gems we should visit?
@@ontheroadadventure There are so many beautiful spots to visit! I would definitely recommend going over Pen-y-pas and visiting Beddgelert, especially if you are dog lovers! (Read the tale of Gelert and you'll see what I mean) definitely worth stopping for a coffee and a slice of Bara Brith at the riverside cafe in Beddgelert
If you get to Betws-y-Coed (A huge bikers stop-off!) and take the road past Swallow Falls, you'll get to the turn for Pen-y-Pas over to Llanberis. Fantastic views over Snowdonia.
@@andrewbooth7352 Yes we did that route up to the pen y pass on our travels up towards holy head for the ferry over to Ireland that’s in another episode
Oh and don't forget to visit Portmadoc, the home of the Purple Moose Brewery (Fantastic ales) and also home of Aber Falls Gin. My wife's tipple!

This IS wales lol - We are Lucky when the rain stops! Have you seen our tour in Sicily on the Channel? Now that was a sunny Trip and in January too!
