It's worth noting that Luanne Platter is the only character without any voice lines because they didn't want to use the late Brittany Murphy's voice for personal gain. It's honestly really classy of them to do that.
Even though i never played it, i think it's kinda cool that they put Hank and Peter in the game. in fact i think the reason why they put Hank in the game is not only because he has a lawn mower, but also because of that one episode where he compeated in a mower race.

Honestly I’m surprised they handled making 3D models of King of The Hill Characters so well.
Solar Opposites is far from a Rick and Morty clone. The only things similar between the shows are the goofy inventions and the art-style. I highly, highly recommend it because there's a very nice mix between typical syndicated shows and on-going story. It's the only show I know of to regularly use an A, B, and C plot and it pulls it off well. Definitely worth watching in my opinion.

The Wall is really fucking cool imo
I think I only watched the first season, but I thought it was generally better than Rick & Morty. It shares a lot with Rick & Morty of course, but it came across abit less chaotic and I thought the ongoing story elements were entertaining. Definitely would recommend checking it out too.
Solar Opposites shows off Tom Kenny's voice acting skills like no other, the whole plotline of The Wall really let him shine. Great show all around.

Hey saberspark, about solar opposites, the show isnt really a copy of rick and morty, the reason it seems so similiar is because both of the shows were made by the same people.
I agree and he should know that he could of said the same thing with the Futurama is a copy of the Simpsons since they have the same art style and humor and that same game he reviewed that we have a copy of a original show which is American Dad is to Family Guy while doing that.

I just am glad they respect king of the hill and their history of their shows.
I mean I think this is a funny concept. Even if it is absolutely insane. They'll have to add more characters from other adult animated shows though, because so far there's only four shows, and only a hand full of characters from those shows.

Solar opposites is honestly really funny, and worth your attention. The second season especially really improved and I enjoyed it much more then the latest Rick and Morty. Obviously it's similar sense of humor, but it feels more like the first season of Rick and morty humor then the more serious the later seasons have been. Doesn't take itself seriously and knows its a clone but that doesn't mean it can't tell its own stories.
Solar opposites is worth it for the wall episodes. The rest is good for background while washing the dishes

To be honest King of the hill is the type of TV show your grandpa that you visited very often when you were younger watched a lot on cable
As I discovered when trying to help my dad find games on his Mac, Apple users just need to take what they can get. If this were on normal stores or Steam, it would be one of many, but it could potentially succeed as a slightly bigger fish in a small pond status.
It’s just a goofy racing game and if you have Apple Arcade already like I do why not
It can succeed everywhere since it has beloved legendary characters,these are facts.
I do at least appreciate some of the little details like having the golden turd from American Dad as an item or having skins like Nun Peggy, Commando Lois, and Banana Brian.
It seems like Disney likes to separate their brands when it comes to these crossovers since we also have Disney Speedstorm coming up, and that features only mainline Disney/Pixar properties. I'm thinking they might go this route if they ever decide to get into platform fighters, like we'll get Disney Smash and then a different one with Animation Domination characters like this game.
I wouldn’t consider Mario Kart Tour to be a real competitor in the phone racing genre since as far as I heard that game is more of a casino than a racing game.

I find it weird that Futurerama and Bob’s Burgers aren’t in this game considering that they were both represented in the last crossover which was a card game for mobile devices that also used King of the Hill, Family Guy, and American Dad. It just doesn’t feel the same without those two series.
Solar Opposites is amazing! Its made by the same people as Rick and Morty, not a "clone." I like it better then their other show. Its less heteronormative and doesn't the highly dysfunctional mom and and dad issue.

Solar Opposite is alright. It is indeed "Diet R&M" but it's understandable since it's a Roiland project. And it's really interesting because in the end it really feels like "R&M without Dan Harmon" for better AND for worse. Never goes as high as R&M, but also not as low. It's a very middle-of-the-road casual episodic sci-fi comedy, which would be completely forgettable if it wasn't counterbalanced by a genuinely amazing serialized subplot that I won't spoil and totally eclipses the main show (very pleased to discover that it has its own race track in this game).
I love the Mario Kart 64 story!
Put a big grin on my face and I remember how all our friends in the neighborhood would get together and just battle it out on the N64!
I've recently discovered about this game yesterday. The concept is freak'n sweet (no pun intended), but it still needs a lot of work! Hopefully they can improve this game a bit with more variety.

Solar Opposites is actually decent. Has funny moments, though the wall story line actually is more interesting than the main story. Might be worth a watch just for that.

Watch Solar Opposites it's like Rick And Morty but it focuses more on the comedy and the characters are actually likable. It's like the perfect mix of American dad invader Zim and Rick and Morty.
Who would have thought I’d see Family Guy, American Dad and King of the Hill crossover in a Mario Kart clone. Not to mention, Family Guy and American Dad already did a crossover.
Solar Opposites is everything I wanted out of the goofiness of Rick and Morty without all of the ‘intellectual’ bullshit it tries to throw at you. You’re missing out by actively avoiding it!

Solar Opposites is actually quite good.
Much of the Rick and Morty team works on it, including Justin Roiland himself, but aside from that and sharing a sci-fi theme, it's an entirely different show. It has fantastic characters and manages to balance an A, B, _and_ C plot whilst fleshing each out adequately.
It's less like what American Dad is to Family Guy, and more like what Futurama is to The Simpsons.
If this game doesnt have Hank saying "Taste the Meat AND the Heat" will be a 0/10 right off the gate
The "B" plot line of Solar Opposites (the wall) is better then the main story.

If anything, I think you'd enjoy Solar Opposites for the C story. The A and B story are pretty typical sci-fi adult animated works, but the C story was surprisingly intriguing and captivating in my opinion.
When I saw this thumbnail I thought this was going to be some forgotten early 2010s game, so seeing that 2022 release date sent me XD Great video though!

Also, it’s cool seeing that Saber is also a avid fan of the show.
If Disney want a racing game with their IP, they did that back on the PS1 with Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour. It was damn good for a game of its kind and I think they could bring that old idea back with bigger gusto now.

In all seriousness why? Mario Kart exists on both ios and android.... So why would you bother with IPs that are barely hanging on for their main purposes? I loved all those series when I was a teen (oh god I'm old now) but who is their demographic? Just wondering who, apart from kids thinking they're cool, would actually bother with it...
There's a few reasons I guess.
To start off with since we're talking about general use devices like iPhones and Macs, that's a much larger potential demographic than say the Switch. It's also not uncommon for families to either share devices or buy from the same brand of devices. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say they made the game to appeal to whoever likes the shows out of nostalgia or wants a kart racing game but is unlikely to buy a dedicated console or deal with game streaming.
Also, this kart racer has controller support, possibly the biggest reason to go with it.
I’ve watched Saberspark but I never knew this channel existed until today and I love how his sprite is different for talking about video games. Watching him move around like an old video game is so fun

I want a MechWarrior-style King of the Hill game where you build tractors and compete with King of the Hill characters, and do demolition contracts for them.
I like how they added cel-shading and outlines for the models. They should port it to Android and such, even if there might be in-app ads or purchases. (Or just make it a paid game entirely)
Apart of me feels like they only added the Solar Opposite characters just to promote that show. I've never heard of it until now.

Tbh, if this game wasn't Apple Arcade exclusive, I would probably play it. Looks like something I would play just to try and kill some time with a cartoon racer of shows I like/liked watching. And if it was free to play. If this was paid, forget it.

Solar Opposites is much better than Rick and Morty and gave me some genuine laughs. As someone who hasn't found Rick and Morty funny since Season 2, I can say Solar Opposites continues that vibe.

Pokemon Masters also has fully original voice acting with industry veteran voice actors (though bafflingly, the English dub didn't use voice actors from the main anime, Origins, Generations or Twilight Wings) and Yugioh Duel Links also has orginal voice acting from most of the 4kids Productions/4K Media/Konami Cross Media NY English dub cast but given Konami Cross Media NY is a multimedia company (they made a freaking _Frogger_ gameshow), this isn't suprising.

Solar Opposites is fucking amazing.. It reminds me a lot about Rick and Morty, but I would not call it a clone.. It just feels a lot more Gen-Z-friendly, which have been an issue I've had with a lot of adult cartoons.. They are often old (Simpsons, Family Guy) or for millennials (Close Enough, Tuca & Burtie) and I'm not sure what this shows targets, but I think it's pretty funny..

Solar opposites is not a clone of Rick and Morty. It's very much stands alone by itself, and I feel that it is the best adult animated show out today. Should really watch it saber

Hey SaberSpark, I have something I would like to tell you in regards to your nephew. In this video, you said he was six and then later made a comment about him liking FNaF. I'm not sure if that was a joke or if he was six at the time, grew a bit, and then got into FNaF, but I do want to at least bring this to your attention. So FnaF, as many people know, is a Teen rated horror game about animatronics possessed by murdered children and that is probably something a six year old shouldn't be seeing. Now despite my personal bias, he can still play and watch it if your sister lets him, but at the very least monitor him. If he starts becoming sadder and more frustrated more often, or even hitting himself or others, then I suggest that you should take anything FNaF related away from him. Why I'm saying this is that I had an experience like that, that was my own personal hell.
So again, if it seems he is getting sadder or angrier to a more depressive state, remove all FNaF and other things similar to it away from him. Thank you for your time.

EA has exclusive rights but they've only made five games: The Simpsons Game, and four phone titles, including Tapped Out, which is still going on despite the fact nobody talks about it anymore.
Tapped Out was released around a decade ago, and that was the most recent title.
