Ps moved their HQ to California last year. They soon caved to pc activists. Ps will no longer allow s3xually explicit content (such as women in bikinis, think doa) but blood, guts, and gore is completely fine (think mk fatalities). Every video game franchise has to return to the drawing board and cut sequences to comply (such as r*'s gta6). Playstation no more!
TheNugget YT fanboys are more toxic. This isn’t toxic although he did say shut up. Not as toxic as a fanboy. Tbh I have seen more toxic people from the xbox community than PlayStation. I don’t like the console wars, I have had both.

How do ps4’s always overheat? Mine is in a cabinet with only one side open, and I’ve have it for 7 years without cleaning it because my dad says “it’s fine”. But mine still never overheats
It has higher specs meaning higher clock speeds which will work the hardware harder meaning it needs more cooling, it will most probably been more prone to overheating, because it has the specs of a mid-high end pc in a small case

@@CoozyBTW I think you do need to play the consoles most popular exclusive game to be considered a "Hardcore PlayStation gamer". You can be considered a "PlayStation gamer" but you're clearly not very "Hardcore" if you've missed that important of a game. Mmm right. Obviously i should go out and buy it right now, and while im at it probably should go play the halo series too right? Or a week ago the top selling ps game was spiderman so no. I dont have to buy your trendy bullshit to be a major PS "GUY"
7:35 Disagree with this sentiment. Yes, I always end up getting both consoles each generation because of exclusives, but exclusives make up a very small percentage of my game library. I will buy multi-platform games on the platform that plays them the best.
I've been a gamer and a big fan of the ps since the first console, and kept up with just how far the system and the game graphics have come, and can't wait for this console to show off its ability to feature kick ass games, I'm so pumped for this system to get here!
Notice when the series x trailer came out there wasn't nearly as much talk about it. Besides just looking at the ps5 and controller, I just want to play it so bad..
@Lil PaNdA doesn't matter it could be the most powerful console ever but just like the ps3 and dreamcast it's the games and the player base that decide a successful console...
Might be just in your circles, plenty of folks talked about it. Personally I don’t get console wars and look forward to both systems, not sure which I’ll get first BUT will probably get both very near launch.
Lil PaNdA thing is my PC is more powerful than the Series X and can literally play the exact same games. I’m more excited for PS5 as there are games which I simply can’t play on my PC.
Honestly its kinda sad, i really love collecting games. The feeling of popping open the case the minute i come out from the store is such a good feeling. Downloading games takes such a long time :(
@NEWROCKEROFFICIAL. He meant there rlly is no reason to buy this at launch unless the features would be taken out. He doesn’t want the features taken out.
Always been a ps girl, from the ps1 all the way up to the the ps4 pro. I also own an Xbox x but can definitely say I will always prefer the PlayStation. So yes will be getting the ps5.
My PS4 which I got 2 years after release, 1215 model, never had any issues, until my PS4 started rejecting disks. My Blu-Ray disk drive was the issue, and it was such a big issue that it caused constant freezing, and prevented a System Software update for whatever reason, which led to my PS4 being unplayable online after a mandatory update was required. If the digital edition of the PS5 is even as low as $20 cheaper, I’ll be glad and probably opt for it just because of my experience with my PS4 disk drive causing issues.
Mine didn’t get loud till I played AC:odyssey recently or horizon recently, before now I’ve played these games and it never did that but it’s started to now
Jacob munoz lmao I was thinking about ps4 but thought nah since it was like 5 years after release and a ps5 would release. But it isn’t gunna release until 3 years later from that day
As with everything that's just being released, it's always best to wait. I can almost guarantee there will be bugs and possibly hardware issues that will later have to be addressed by releasing "updated" consoles that addresses said issues. Just look at PS4, it's been 8 generations of changes to it since launch. Models: CUH-10xx, CUH-11xx, CUH-12xx, 1TB CUH-11xx, CUH-20xx, 1TB CUH-12xx, and finally CUH-70xx. If we as consumers stop buying at launch, that'll force the companies to release more "polished" consoles that require less updates and fix those issues prior to launch. Just my 2 cents.
you still have to install the game idiot and have to use the disk to actually play the game that’s installed. no sense in buying games if you want physical. just rent them. otherwise digital is better
@@deions6096 getting the physical version reduces how much needs to be downloaded, so it still helps with storage and digital version won't be backwards compatible with games you already own on disc, which is the real reason you should get non-digital
Going by Sony’s PlayStation history, I think there’s more reasons NOT to buy one at launch. Sony are notorious for making revisions through a PlayStation’s lifecycle. They become more energy efficient and quieter (well, PlayStations have never been that quiet). Plus, you just know that the eventually ‘slim’ revision will be a year or two away. The launch version of a PlayStation is usually the worst version of it.
@@lyricalbrit 8k Minecraft would be an achievement on it's own for the ps5, let alone an 8k movie... But honestly from experience 8k on a tv is nice, but barely noticeable comparing to 4k... And also costs a ton to achieve...

I just hope stable 60fps is the bare minimum target for every game across the whole generation. They can start with 4k60 and 1800p60 games and slowly go down using dynamic resolutions until they even have to render games at just 1440p60 at the very end of the generation. That would be totally fine by me, I'd even prefer solid 1080p60fps as a bare minimum, over 4k~30fps. Same treatment for high refresh-rate gaming, I'd love to start the generation with 1440p120fps as the standard for most well optimized AAA and Esports games, but I'd prefer them to target 1080p120fps at the end of the generation in order to keep the high refresh-rate as a valid option until the very end
More than likely, at least at the beginning you won’t see many games, at least big ones running at super high graphics and 60fps I think some will give options on what to chose.
I'm honestly a little worried that the first and second wave of consoles could be defective on either side due to rushed construction brought about by Covid-19.
The PS5 is coming within the same timespan the PS4, PS4, PS3, PS2, and the PlayStation. All of them, after PS1, were built 6 to 7 years after the previous console release, and so it is with the PS5. This PS5 is coming out between October and December of this year, which is 7 years after last console(PS4). This is right on time without any delays.
@@itslitgamestv6827 what does any of that have to do with the possibility of either one of the next gen systems having a high failure rate due to our worlds current situation?
W S You said high failure rate due to “rushed construction”. Since it has already been confirmed that the PS5 is coming out in holiday season, just like much of the other PlayStations, it isn’t rushed. Therefore they won’t be defective. The console isn’t being rushed to be constructed, because if it was then they would release the console earlier than planned, but fortunately they aren’t.
Using console history, reasons to take a PS5 at launch: -Disc drive, if that float your boat (I highly doubt the theoretical upcoming slim version to have any disc due to cost reduction) Reasons to wait: -design problems. Remember YLOD? BLOD? What about disc drive failure in PS1? Analog drift in switch? No thanks. I will wait. A lot of PS owners have a good queue of games to play for another 2 years.
We got a smart one. I'll just wait a year or two and since they'll keep making games for the ps5 and ps4, I'll just use my ps4 for then. Obviously I probably won't be able to play ps5 exclusives, but I can still play games that aren't exclusive.
If you"ve had trouble with the Ps4 pro overheating you put it in the wrong place. Its also easy to remove the top cover without any tools and simpy cut an opening directly above the fan and cover it with mosquito netting like I did which reduced the heat buildup significantly cause those ducts on the sides just are"nt enough
Hopefully there will be a noticeable change in graphics. One of the selling points of the PS5 early on was its potential for photorealistic graphics (which some PS4 games, like that one Spider-Man game, already came close to achieving).
I still have a PS2 I play Silent Hill 2 on yearly, I swear it's a beast of a machine as it's 20 years old this year and no issues. I hope I'm middle-aged and my PS5 will still be working like my PS2.
I might buy it at launch but probably won’t. There are a lot of games that I would buy it for (like miles morales) but I just bought a ps4 recently so I still have the originals to the sequels coming out that I need to play. But aside from that, if I’m waiting I will definitely try to get it once “kena: bridge of spirits” comes out. That is one of the most exiting games shown off at the ps5 reveal to me. It reminds me of a Pixar film from only a few years ago mixed with a zelda/fantasy aesthetic and that makes me SO exited!
#1 reason is bcuz it's going to b the best nextgen console. Sony is actually trying to give us the nextgen console. And they also try to give us the best games.
I go along with anyone who says dont buy a console on launch day, they are over priced, and full of glitches, let those that are desperate buy them so the rest of us can enjoy once the price comes down and the recalls have been sorted.
Vdo was nice but based on my experience from buying ps2,3,4 and other consoles, handhelds it goes without saying that waiting a couple months or even 1/2 yrs at least makes the bargain much more profitable since the life cycle of consoles average 6-8 yrs. besides some games and consoles are still playable to this day like my xbox 360 long after buying a ps4 in 2020
I am on my 3rd PS4 never had any problems with any of the ones I had. The first I dropped a coffee over it the 2nd I put a sledge hammer through 3rd works fine. My neighbour has his PS4 from launch date. I know about 20people with first PS4 so if you had problems you caused the problems.
I’m looking forward to it because even though I’m just a casual gamer, this is the first time I have expendable resources to really get it and enjoy the excitement of getting it on day one. I’ve never been able to do that. Now will I also spend the money for a new tv, I’m not too sure yet? It seems crazy to get a tv that in its smallest size is like 55 or 65 for my little bedroom. But again, I just might. Lol. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Yo i don't care if the PS5 sounds like a jet engine or if it even Fart out of the plastic console bottom all i care about is that it makes VR look better than the pro
Well the ps4 even though there were problems with fan noise and such was a great console at launch and was definitely worth the price. After a little clean over the years mine is super silent and is quite beyond unrefined tech. Being able to play last of us 2 has really showed me that the ps4 has not just been able to keep up all these years but also deliver jaw dropping graphics 7 years after being bought. So no definitely not unrefined tech.
Because there's nothing quite like bringing home a brand-new console on launch night. plugging it in and getting things going, it's just too thrilling to not be a part of
If your a ps plus subscriber like myself the best time to have ps plus will be after the ps 5 launch, the PS4 ps plus will just to continue to get better, for a while. Also, ps5 ps plus games at launch will either be the same games as the PS4 games for ps4 plus or indie titles an early access to free to play games an such. An that will go on for a year or two. Not really worth it in ps5 in my opinion. If you wait, like I plan to do for two to two an half years to get a ps5 an ps plus with it, which you need to play online FYI, all the ps plus games in the ps 5 will actually be ps5 games. Not only that, all the games that came out at launch of the ps5 will be either alot cheaper an or have game of the year editions an complete editions. I don't know about you but when I'm playing dlc for a game I enjoy, I like having all doc's available at once an not having to wait. Spiderman in ps4 doc's for example play much better when all played together at once an serves as it's own separate story. If I had to wait when I played those originally an not gotten to play all three at once it would of driven me nuts, an from what iv gathered from various reviews on net I'm not the only that sees it that way. So ya, I'm definitely going to be waiting a good two years to move to ps 5, an just enjoy the ps4 an ps plus in there in the mean time. Games like ghost, cyberpunk, an marvels avengers offer extended play an added free new play as time goes on anyway. Overall it's just the smarter more enjoyable thing to do, an my wallet will thank me for it lol.
@TrillestKenny because 1st and 2nd release cycles have a history of bugs and shoddy workmanship in their builds, usually in an attempt to save money to rush said builds to market in order to position an edge over the competition.
Overpriced? Go research equivalent hardware for PC , you will find the PS5 very cheap. If you want 4k gaming then the minimum video card you would need is a Rx 5700 xt or rtx 2070, just the video card alone is $300-400.
Will defenetly buy a PS5. The question is if its on launch or not, as my PS4 Pro performs really well - Especially with an SSD upgrade! 👍 (will enjoy the more silent PS5 though, even if i mostly play on headphones)
For me I cant wait to swap my old 7yr PS4 console to a PS5 I play on my 4k TV but only playing 1080p it be nice to see a better visual and native 4K and faster SSD to boost loading screens. Oh and quieter fan helps.

at this point all you have is "muh exclusives" when we all know that in a year's time those exclusives will be on PC LMAO
I just hope that the ps5 is easy to clean and doesn't overheat easily because it can corrupted the game data easily
This, and make it in a way it doesn't sound like a jet engine. They could put that feature some PS3 model add where you pressed a button for long enough and it would eject some dust stuck inside the system
How do ps4’s always overheat? Mine is in a cabinet with only one side open, and I’ve have it for 7 years without cleaning it because my dad says “it’s fine”. But mine still never overheats
The reason it's so big is because Sony made it to cool in the best way w/out a jet engine.
It has higher specs meaning higher clock speeds which will work the hardware harder meaning it needs more cooling, it will most probably been more prone to overheating, because it has the specs of a mid-high end pc in a small case
Sony for the first time take the air ventilation seriously so we not going to see any problems...

I am gonna wait. Like you said They make revisions and when the pro comes out it will be better. I really am excited about it though.
But the main thing with the pro was it allowed 4k, the ps5 is launching with 8k ready

I was hoping PS4 could upgrade from 60hz to 120hz, since even my phone has 120hz screen.
And with that make 120fps
@@joaofernandeszk What model is your phone though? You're talking about a 7 year old console that was already out of date at launch

@@XxNuuruhuinexX u do realise most of them are built by robot arms.
W S
You said high failure rate due to “rushed construction”.
Using console history, reasons to take a PS5 at launch:
-Disc drive, if that float your boat (I highly doubt the theoretical upcoming slim version to have any disc due to cost reduction)
Reasons to wait:
-design problems. Remember YLOD? BLOD? What about disc drive failure in PS1? Analog drift in switch?
No thanks. I will wait. A lot of PS owners have a good queue of games to play for another 2 years.
Waiting for sony? Never had to... any of their problems were rare and no one I knew had a problem with theirs.
I bought all my consoles at launch, no problems
There will be (always) a PS5 slim
