- Latest update on the 1977 F-150. I replaced and significantly upgraded the often faulty clutch push rod with a much stronger and smoother version...made by JB Custom Fabrications.

i just welded metal back on to mine. filed it round. good for another 45 years. it will outlast me.
big thanks for posting this with the link! My truck is making a very similar clunk and I know the linkage is all torn up. Really appreciate it!
Felicitaciones a todos quienes tienen una FORD F 100 las mejores camionetas del mundo, un abrazo y cuiden a estas joyas de los clásicos
lmc part number 41-1574 is a pedal bumper for both brake and clutch pedal and that will stop your clunk. the pedal is hitting the dash. hope this helps
I'll look into that, thank you!
I was wondering if the issue you had was the pedal not sitting correctly after installing the new? Measure the rod out like you did and then installed it. But now my clutch pedal will not come. Can you help?
This was the perfect video
Will these work on an 81
Great video, I have the same issue of a broken push rod I bought the new part from jb custom. Just curious what was the small issue you mentioned in the video. I haven't installed the part yet. Thanks.
The clutch pedal, when depressed and then allowed to come back up...it would stick about half way up and then suddenly "clunk" into the unpressed position.
Mine has the exact same “clunk”. Never thought it was a problem until now. 😱 I’m gonna be adding this to the long list of things to check before we call our project done.
