You got this from Kanye? Did Westworld and Kanye have some connection to the music in the show? From what I heard, the composer, Ramin Djawadi, made this for Westworld as the official music creator. I'm a bit confused on how both of them have nearly the same song.

My grandma was a Music teacher. She lived next door. When I was a kid, I remember the nights when she used to play Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, you name it... pieces, and I felt asleep hearing them through the wall. She tried to teach me and my brothers to play the piano, but we did not realize then how valuable was that. Now that I'm fully grown up, she's long gone and that piano is in my parent's house...
Man, how I wish I have learned to play well the piano to sit in front of it and play those pieces today... Just for pleasure. The same pleasure she felt every night she played that timeless music.

That's the beauty of the Piano I truly believe it is the best instrument as you can feel so much from it. There is so much emotion that can be portrayed by this trult beautiful instrument. If their tears of joy I cry for you and am happy you are happy and if they're tears filled with sorrow I may not know you but I know this. It will all be okay. Whatever the reason that is making your heart hurt. It will get better.

4/8/2022 update, I got a piano last year, enrolled to a piano lesson 2 month ago, can now read notes(!!) and I am starting to learn how to play this song. If anyone knows where to get the music sheets for this please let me know. I want to learn at least half of the song before my boyfriend and I move in together in 2 months. I’m planning to play this for him as a surprise ❤️
8/7/2022 UPDATE: I am now more comfortable reading notes and I am still going to my piano lessons, I just had my recital last month and I played Spring Waltz by Fritz Spindler. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my boyfriend and I have not moved in together yet and has been postponed until the end of this year. So that gives me more time to practice! Thank you for sharing the music sheets!! ❤️

I close my eyes as I listen to this beautiful piece of music. I feel sadness in the beginning (makes me think of my daughters death) and as the music continues I feel courage and strength (we can get through the heartaches of life). As the ending comes I know in my heart ❤️ everything is going to be ok.

It's actually a lot easier than it looks, just learn the chord progression. Arpeggiating the chords with one hand, and the melody with the other. Hardest part is the jumps across the keyboard with that left hand.

On January 15th, 2024, I have lost someone I knew due to suicide. We might've not been close, but I wanted to get closer to him. His fascinating talent in music amazed me, and everyday-- at the last few minutes of my choir class-- he'd play this exact song on piano. It was clear his skills wasn't perfect, but that's what made it beautiful, and it always touched my heart when he'd play songs for the entire class. One time highschoolers passed by him and was shocked due to how well he played, and the thought of that made me smile.
We talked a few times, and he was genuinely a kind soul, but it seemed that too much weight was put on the poor boy's shoulder. He was only in seventh grade; 13 years old.
It's been rough for his close friends and family-- and I have to admit it's been rough for me too. Even if we were just acquaintances, I genuinely wanted to be his friend, but now he's resting.
I believe that I might've began grieving for him, but I'm trying my hardest to be there for my friends who were affected too. I am not risking losing anymore friends.
Suicide is a chain, it passes down to the other if one person starts it. It's sickening, this society can be so sick.
I know this video is just a piano cover of a Kanye West song, and I know this isn't my place to necessarily speak of things like this, but I want people to be aware that others will notice if you disappear-- even if you deny it.
It's okay to speak. It's better to have a voice rather than suffering in silence. If you notice a friend, and acquaintance-- hell maybe even an enemy-- who's suffering in silence, then the best thing to do is act, or maybe inform someone about it.
If you read my message then thank you, I appreciate it.
