I use the microwave. I use a glass measuring cup, cut up the bar of soap into cubes, microwave 30 seconds and stir each time. It takes no more than 2 minutes. Then pour it into the tins. You could use any container really, a little bowl, a ramekin, a lid isn't totally necessary, you could keep it in a ziplock bag.
I have used that Pearson brand of soap and I've used the generic version, as long as its the clear ish glycerin soap its fine.
After it sets, it might have tiny clear droplets on top, that is just glycerin "sweating" its totally fine. You can wipe it off or leave it. It doesnt always happen. I looked it up on a soap making forum.
Ive read that using soap on brows might melt in hot weather. Im in Florida havent had that problem. My brows are thick so I only use a little soap to hold them in place.
I read that using a brow powder helps to set it or use your setting powder.
I didnt mean to write a book! Lol Hope this helps👍🏻

I don’t think you’ve ever done this. It doesn’t hurt your skin to put such a minuscule amount of soap mostly on the brow hairs. Most people leave far more soap on their hands after washing than you will ever put on your brows. And I am very sensitive to soaps.

That's interesting watercolour artists, myself included use Pears soap to get the point back into our paint brushes, it sets them back like new and since the soap is only one ingredient with no moisturizers it doesn't effect the paint or paper. If you use a better quality soap it won't run easily, and a setting spray ensures it will be locked in until you wash it off. It's a theatrical technique and I can guarantee you that actors under stage lights or in outdoor theatres deal with far more heat and sweat and have for decades.

Just an FYI for any self tanners, pears soap is the best for using pre tan with an exfoliating mit as it removes oil/sebum from the skin so well!! Be sure to moisturize your knees/elbows pre tan too because it removes it a little too well and makes your skin primed to soak in the tanner.

BUT, for a $1.25 the other side looks good, gets the job done & keeping it real, a lot of people don’t even want to spend $7 for the Maybelline clear Mascara which I’ve used countless times on my brows or $9 for the mini Anastasia clear brow gel.

Pears Soap.....we always used that in our house in the 60s/70s. That, and Imperial Leather.
The scent of both soaps brings back lovely memories of my late parents and happy family life in S.E London❤
Oh....I digress! This looks good as my eyebrows are very blonde and at 63, they're a bit sparse. Maybe I should give e this a try 🤔

I've always wondered if soap gets in your eyes once you start to sweat. The soap brow looks great, though!

When it rains and your face gets wet do your brows start foaming and sting your eyes?

I'm sure she won't take long to walks in the rain. Good point though. I thought of soap as stinging

And think of how long you will have that Pears soap bar... it will last forever. Pears has always been a favorite of my mom's, and many old ladies.
    It is a good product
