@@artmaltman , YES!! There were tons of kids to play with. It was great to grow up there. When Met Life sold it , it changed and the rents got much, much, higher. Growing up , there were one bedrooms , two bedrooms, three bedrooms, and five bedrooms. Now it is different. They've split up the bedrooms , changed the playgrounds and what was once a very quaint family place to live has become practically a dormitory for alot of NYU college kids. Most of us from growing up there are still friends and miss the " old" Stuyvesant Town. It was charming and quaint.
Thank you for the tour. I have long wondered what those apartments are like. Now that you have been there for a while do you have any updated observations to share? Where do you food shop? Is there a gym? Thank you.
There are Target and Trader Joe's at 14 St. and Ave A. Also Gracefully the supermarket is at the 1st Ave. Pretty much to shop for food. Oval Fitness is at your service for a discounted fee for the tenants. You may refer to Google Maps for further info.
Thanks for watching! I definitely do most of my shopping at the Target and Trader Joe's right across the street. I also utilize Amazon Fresh still for the bulk of our grocery shopping. I personally don't pay for the Stuytown gym due to the price but there is a Blink Fitness somewhat close by! So far we have loved living here between the amazing apartment and excellent resources close by!
It depends on the type of apartment you get and the level of finishes (it goes up as the finishes get nicer)! The apartments are very spacious for NYC though and the Stuytown community is amazing so it's definitely worth it
Thanks for watching! The prices in Stuytown range based on how many bedrooms, location, as well as finishes. Also, they were still running some COVID deals on rent when we signed so I couldn't say exactly what these apartments go for these days
Born in Manhattan and raised since birth in Stuyvesant Town. It's okay now but it was SO much better and more fun when I was growing up.
We have been loving it so far! It is a great community to be a part of. It's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city
Were there a lot of young families when you were growing up?

@@3AlzandTay6 how much is the rent?
give the people an update!
Beautiful! What’s the rent like?

I’m actually considering the apartments there. How loud are neighbors at night? I saw some reviews complaining about thin walls.
I was also concerned about the thin walls! It hasn't been a major concern yet and we've been here about a month 👍🏼
Yo can hear the foot steps of neighbor upstairs. Especially that person does not wear slippers, etc. That is very annoying.
Just be sure that you're not getting an apartment next to or on the same floor as students from NYU.
Really nice! Thanks for sharing..
Thank you! Appreciate you watching :)
I want a Mom and Dad for my apartment too, where do you get those at Bed Bath & Beyond?
lol right?!
Awesome apartment!
We are absolutely loving it!
I always thought they were NYCHA apartments 😂
How much?
Rent must be around $6k, aye?
