10 years ago at this exact minute, I got my hands on a PS3 copy of GTA V. I'm so happy for all the memories, laughs, friendships, late-night talks, heists, jobs, races, and fun I had with this game.

I never got to experience all of that. 10 years ago I was 9. I heard rumors of GTA V and even at that age everyone wanted to play it.
I finally got my copy in 2016 for the Xbox 360 (but I was still young and never truly understood the xbox360, I didn't even know there was voice chat for example) and then I finally got it in 2018 for the PC.
In 2018 it was a good game. But I never experienced the hype or the marketing campaigns of a new GTA game, it's been 10 years, and I really want to play a GTA game on release date.😅

My mom promised me a PS3 if I could get 4/4 GPA that year. That year was insane and tough, but I had to do it for the sake of this game 😂. I got the console a week after the school gave out the GPAs and got the game right before the release.
A kind friend gifted me $50 two years later on Steam and I pre-ordered it immediately.
It's my most played game on Steam and I've had my fair share of its world, both offline and online (although I played solo online %90 of the time with the exception of the heists).
It doesn't when or how you drop into this game, 'cause it'll always be hella fun.

After 10 years of this wonderful game , after 10 years of one of the first gta games that introduced special abilities, multiple protagonists and more details. That's what we get , after 10 years of supporting this game, we get some lazy outfits that we can't even customize, we get liveries for outdated guns and free snacks and refills .
That's my thank you for completing the story mode 100 times? For being frustrated with the gta online loading screens? For hoping for a story mode dlc? After 10 years all I get is 3 outfits that I can't even ve creative with them?

However, I think it was already starting to go downhill in the early 2010s though, it just hadn't fully kicked in yet. In 2013 I was 13, in middle school, my best friend's parents pre-ordered the game for him, and when I saw him get the game on the launch day I was so jealous of him. A few weeks later I finally got my hands on a PS3 copy of GTA5, I feel so proud of myself because I knew GTA5 was one of the epic moments in the history of gaming.

not only is this disappointing, these clothes aren't even what could be considered iconic to their characters, i think way more people saw trevor wearing gray sweatpants and the white t-shirt than whatever this is, franklin's iconic outfit is jeans and that blue shirt with the white thing under it, and michael's would be the shorts, flip-flops, blue open shirt with a white t-shirt, or his gray suit

Yes it could maybe have been done better, with some more stuff or maybe a gta 6 announcement. But what people do not seem to realize is how it could be worse, we could have had literally only a Twitter post or some meaningless event week.
