originally the term tryhard meant noob, that you're a "tryhard" whem you always try so hard but still fail. That's why I find it so funny that so named "skilled" GTA players call themself tryhards when they abuse game mechs to get a high K/D😂 they are still noobs
The way people talk about modding/griefing makes me think I'm some kind of gta god. I've got 200 ish hours own pretty much everything in the game and I've never been killed or trolled so much I've had to leave a lobby. In fact I've out drove multiple modders trying to kill me. I've out drove dudes crashing into me with jets in a karuma, I've out drove an invisible dude chasing me with explosive bullets while i was on my delivery bike with a full load of acid. Just in the past week I've run into modders who just give money and xp, I went from level 110 to 378 in an hour (I also got a mil but I own every business and property so I don't really need money, I make enough millions myself) But yeah idk what you guys are doing in your lobbies but maybe it's wrong.
I’m literally most of this all in one, I love cars, I grind make money, I kill ppl too because it’s GTA FFS. I’m most of these perceived “GTA Types” intertwined into one
While I’m in a group, I think out of both the new and old, I’m the only one that really plays GTA anymore. I miss my old group tho, despite the arguments, as it was probably the most fun I’ve ever had. Now I’ve really just got one friend that I met in middle school, and a few friends that we’ve met along the way. A couple of our friends just stopped making and joining parties, one went to fucking boarding school, and the rest kinda just stopped talking to said other friend and I. Tbh that old group is the only reason I made a “The Boys” plate.
Fellow grinder here. I think the reason I still grind businesses and heists is because it's a routine at this point. It's almost like a zen-feeling. I think it's the same reason people play truck simulators.
I'll never forget the first time I met an anti-griefer. I was doing a bunker sale mission and this guy flies over in a fighter jet and starts shooting missiles near me, so naturally I get really worried about it. After a while, I figured out he was actually protecting me and killing anyone who tried to challenge me. If the person who did that is reading this, thank you so much dude
I was doing a counterfeit cash sell mission and saw a oppressor mkII flying towards me at max speed. I pulled out the uzi and got ready to defend myself. But when he got close, he didn't open fire. He flew a bit behind me, and I was able to complete the mission. o7 to that guy
I am a combination of "the grinder" and "the casual". I play sometimes, but I don't have lots of money so I grind playing Cayo Perico to buy what I need and they I leave.
I'm a solo, anti-greifer and grinder. Sometimes I play with friends, but mostly whenever they're not online I just grind the hell out of the game. Making 4 milllion each time I play solo while helping others from griefers.
You missed some: 1. The Never Ready. You want to start a mission that requires other players, they will never ready up. And when the mission starts after the countdown they will sit at the start until they are kicked from inactivity and restart your progress 2. The Agent 47. This guy goes into passive mode and follows you until you forget about him. Then he pops out after a cooldown and goes Hitman to the back of your skull. 3. The Super Grinder. He swears he doesn’t mod but runs around the map at level 8000+
there's also the broken record. some of my friends when they play online will almost always only play cayo perico missions. They say it's because that's the best way to make money, yet they can never come up with an answer to my main question: what's the point of min-maxxing money per hour if you're never in a public lobby to utilize that money? I got a facility for us to do doomsday when the heist was 3x pay and while they played almost everyday that week, every session it was purely cayo :/
It's amazing how many people are at level 7891. The other day there were two people in the lobby with the same level of 7891. Was there a KMart Bluelight special that I missed?
yeah some of the setup missions are hella difficult without a pro in the lobby. I've been enjoying them though, I've just been soloing as many setups as possible and slowly but surely getting my friends more into it. the friends that don't own a kosatka like to help since the setups pay them out so generously. @@StanSupreme1
The 16th type of player is practically extinct these days; "The Racer." There was a group of us that had so much fun with the regular, stunt and whatever other types of races there are in the game. Sadly, outside of adding a few new Hot Ring tracks a year or so ago, Rockstar pretty much abandoned the racing content. Our group pretty much all met on GTA via racing, but we've all moved on to other racing games now. At least Broughy1322 keeps that candle burning.
@@Joshmmh Same. I remember back in 2013 I used to annihilate people in the Supersport class with a borrowed Voltic because it was the only way I was sure I'd get easy money and easy win (I've been playing racing games since 2005, starting NFSMW, and never stopped playing them since then). People driving the Adder, Entity XF and Cheetah would be so mad in the voice chat because they lost to an electric stock car. I kind of miss those times
I'm part grinder, part car-guy, part roleplayer, and solo player. I like collecting cars, making neat outfits and doing sandbox stuff in invite-only sessions.
@@heibloem1it wouldn’t make sense for rockstar to do anything besides cosmetics or some sort of cameo appearance. Did it make sense for rockstar to make it possible to bring cars, properties, money from gta 4 to gta 5? No, so why should this be any different
I wish I could take my character, even if I'm starting out with nothing, cos I like his look and I don't think I could create a new one that would turn out as good @@heibloem1
I use to be a hardcore solo-player / grinder. I didn’t even need the money, I just wanted to make sure I had enough money to buy something that I wanted right when it came out. But the last year I’ve become a casual player, I hop on for a little while just driving around and chilling out. Thankfully haven’t spent a dime on shark cards, just living off my nest egg that I created from 10 years of grinding this game. I feel like some old dude reminiscing on “the good ol’ times” as I drive about, just truly appreciating the game in all its beauty rather than trying to be as hyper-efficient as possible like I had been for 90% of my playtime.
You forgot the veteran. The ones who've played since 2013 and have been a bit of everything over the course of a decade. We used to grind Los Santos connection and A Titan of a job to pay for our first Zentorno. Some of us have been playing R* games since before they were R* games. All hail DMR Designs. Over the years, we've been a little bit of every kind of player and have seen them all come and go. We'll be there in the end.
I would say I am kind of a mix between “Money grinder”, “anti-griefer”, “Roleplayer”, “solo player” and “casual player”. There are times when I would fit into any of those categories (except I don't buy shark cards). It all depends on my current mood when I start the game. Some days I just want to grind businesses and try to make as much money as I possibly can. But other days I just want to play for fun and not caring at all if it earns me any money or not. For example, one period of time I played through all of the contact missions. They don’t give much money at all. But I wanted to play them for fun and I enjoyed it a lot, so it didn’t matter. Speaking of, I'll probably do that again soon.
@@RaptorsTroll2This is not true, I've bought 0. But I will say I got a GTA copy with the criminal enterprise dlc, without that I may have bought 1-3 shark cards perhaps at the start.
During GTA IV Freemode, my friends and I would play a game called Militia. We would post up and and secure a city, and defend it from other players. It was fun. Everyone would get involved. Everyone was on the same level! We had to really think of tactics to out smart the opposition. We tried it in V and it was impossible. Everyone had hardcore military tech and weaponry and we couldn’t match since we worked too much.
Car guy-solo player here. The interesting part about GTAs vehicles is that they're not exact copies of irl vehicles. That's what makes them so unique. Having races and small private meets with your friends, looking at each other's builds and trash talking EVs, that's what made me stick to this game all this time.
The cars in this game are truly something special. I take pride in all my cars looking realistic to something I’d own, no underglow, no big chassis mounted wings, no chrome or the newer fade colors. Just nice clean whips and this game does it better than any other at least on the PlayStation.
@@troyzufelt8821 With these kinds of people running around in public lobbies, you're not gonna find any, believe me. I personally stay in private lobbies with people I already know, but I don't know how other car guys handle that... maybe they join a car-focused crew or something.
Honestly i think of myself as a mix of 3 of these types: Solo, roleplayer, Casual There'll be times when i dont touch GTA for weeks (maybe even months) but when i do, i go to invite only session (and either play alone or with a friend or two) and just run my businesses, play semi RP to immerse myself and just generally wanna have a peaceful time for a few hours of fun. Rinse and repeat
Just discovered this channel as I got back into GTA Online with a new account on PC and I love the content. Def a lot of help with some of these new businesses that have been added since I last played a few years ago.
I'm a solo player, a money grinder, and one that wasn't mentioned here. A stunter, someone who enjoys doing stunts in-game like trying to get the scramjet on top of Maze Bank, getting a motorcycle on top of a crane tower, skydiving through a small opening, and so on. I'll spend hours trying to hit a stunt I've seen done on UA-cam or Reddit.
Been fighting against those griefers for a hot minute now. It all kicked off back when I was a noob, just started playing online, trying to make some quick cash on sell missions. Then bam, this griefer shows up and blows my stuff to bits. It's kinda like a Batman type thing, you know? Not saying I'm Batman or anything, just got that whole "turning a bad experience into a mission" thing going on. Fast forward a few years, still holding it down strong. Helping players deliver their cargo, giving rides to noobs, tossing out free Cayos, griefing THE griefers out of the lobby (ironic)- all while rocking a super mario outfit. Just your average Joe sippin' coffee, catching those early sunrises. Shoutout to TGG for the vids, keep 'em coming 'til the sun forgets how to shine! Oh and I'm a decently big car guy, I love Gran Tourismo, oh baby GT 7 is awesome.
My man! New player here, bro when I first joined GTAO and hunted down a Patriot for my first car, I'm on the way to save it and BOOOM! bye bye Patriot, welcome to GTAO sucker
I hear you. The first time I ever got greifed on I was a level 18 driving around my Elgy retro custom and didn't even know I was in a Public sesson. That first time someone blows your car up on a Flying motorcycle will definitely make or break a potential long term player.
Roles that I fit: Car guy: I have tons of themed garages and I always spend more money and time than I should just to customize my cars lol. But I love my cars very much Solo/Money grinder: I usually jump into invite only sessions and start doing my money grinding routine Roleplayer: I sometimes roleplay as a taxi driver who do the taxi work, or a secret agent who do missions and contracts with armored vehicles
New player, lvl 36, this seems like a common category, at least for players who also watch/comment on these vids :) I just bought the Auto Shop and I'm so excited to build a collection of themed garages like you mentioned. I'm already dreaming about how I will categorize and organize them.
For me it’s a little bit interesting, i am a bit of a tryhard but only when the situation calls for it, i am an ANTI-GRIEFER, i help protect lower level players and help them to complete their missions without being griefed. Not every tryhard is evil. Love your videos by the way ❤
You forgot to mention the collecter the person who collects action figures cards and all the other collectables. This can be done in story mode and online mode as well.
Yea, I came into the GTA series kind of late and to Online even later. I'm a solo player who has a casual attitude, but willing to grind. I also still make noob mistakes, but "how to" videos from TGG and others have helped me quite a bit. I do Cayo regularly, Nightclub when it fills up and other stuff on 2x or 3x weeks. I've even taken advantage of the NC DJ view glitch to have my safes fill up while I'm out running errands, walking the dog, etc. I'd love to do the other heists just for the experience, but I'm a "learn by doing" type and would understand the frustration of the veterans with my inevitable mistakes.
Definitely falling under the anti-griefer territory. He said we "patrol" lobbies and he couldn't be more correct. We're watching that kill feed watching anyone ruining the whole lobby for everyone. What led me to this was the amount of griefers I would get when I started. Wasn't easy lemme tell you. Going from a grinder to anti-griefer wasn't easy but the game became so much more fun and I've made so many friends
How the hell am I supposed to be "anti grifer" if every time i'm driving around grinders on imani tech vehicles, those paranoids just kill me. It frustrated me so much today, that instead of being "anti grifer" i became "griefer". From now on, every time I'll be taken down by grinder, I'm gonna do my best to destroy his cargo
@gadrycathadson1285 sometimes a lot of people want to be left alone. When you come barreling in with an oppressor or deluxo grinders do get scared, you gotta let them know you're friendly. And when you've been "anti-griefing" the entire lobby you come across as a threat. Keep your distance. Watch the map see who's griefing. Killing innocent grinders who just want to get their stuff done isn't any fun
I got nuked by an anti-griefer once. I finished my last drop off for my acid lab and this griefer finally pulled me off my delivery bike and drove off. I started shoting at the bike and he must’ve thought I was a griefer. I’ve completed the sale it was just funny. Still can’t believe the guy lost 75k and didn’t kill an actual griefer 😅
I tip my glass to the few people who helped me complete sell missions when I started them solo. It's only happened a couple times but I didn't know it was possible until someone took one of the other vehicles and helped. I originally thought they were gonna take the vehicles and run away with it but they didn't
Thank god the car guy is here because I definitely fit into that caregory. I have so much cars that sometimes I don't even remember what garage I put some cars in.
I hear ya. The only problem I have as a car guy is that every person that comes to a car show has on the merge glitched benny’s and F-1 wheels on their cars. Cars like the Camaro and the challenger, people put god awful rims on.
I consider myself to be an anti-griefer, having done everything in the game and have most of everything, I get bored and so I tend to keep an eye out for any usernames which keep killing random people and go straight for them, most times they just leave but sometimes they dont get the hint.
I really respect people like you who go out their way and help out others but a lot of anti-griefers sadly get it completely backwards. I could be blown up during a sales mission and when I start fighting back afterwards some "anti-griefer" joins in and starts trying to kill me because they think I'm the griefer just because of their little hero complex..
@@James__Smith Ita a risk im willing to take, as long as it distracts them from bullying others, I dont care all that much if im getting owned instead lol
@@James__Smiththat never happens to me bc I'm extremely good and used to be in the most powerful group in gta online after they betrayed me and my friend we destroyed them so yeah griefers being better then me I don't ever have to worry about
Was a casual player first - The only routine I had was go to the Casino, spin the wheel and try my luck. Later try clothes and different vehicles mod on the ones which I got for free and logout. Now recently I've turned into a money grinder just for fun - I'm always in my Invite only lobby doing my thing - Running my Nightclub in the Vinewood and making money, and on the other doing solo missions most importantly cayo perico and expanding my biz.
- Money Grinder for sure because every thing's expensive. - I'm definitely a roleplayer, I even have spare outfits saved for specific cases. Like Guard outfit to do Bail missions, A hazmat suit to work on the acid lab, even a biker outfit for MC businesses. Sometimes I forget to swap them in advance...
I'd label myself as Solo (No Heist), Car Guy, Money Grinder. I love driving IRL and in GTA (w/ music, always). There's a calmness attached to it, which is what keeps pulling me back to GTAO. I own a Tank, Opp (Mk2) and a Toreador, but seldom use them.
On PC, from my personal experience the average 25+ player lobby has 3-4 modders in it, possibly more that are avoiding detection. The reason I bought a mod menu in the first place is because it's really difficult to PvP in the game without having your opponents turn on cheats as soon as you start beating them, and if you piss them off enough they can literally stop you from playing online entierly. I always play with a mod menu not to gain any kind of intentional advantage in PvP, but to weed out people using godmode, infinite off radar, and other spineless tactics. That's not even mentioning how many cheaters there are in racing lobbies as well.
i play with a mod menu too, mostly to just on god mode for me and my car and cruise around the city. i would help others, to get them to a safe location away from the other modders and griefers.
@@Omegaxtreme Good mod menus detect and alert you of anyone else using cheats so you can kick them before they cause any harm. They also let you take measures to block specific people from joining your public session entierly. Using a mod menu also prevents people from being able to kick/crash you (if you use it correctly)
A money grinding car guy. A troll while playing with friends. An anti-griefer/helper (even against npc's) if I/we see someone struggling with a sell mission or doing it solo. (They do get freaked out initially but understand in a minute that we're harmless. And we keep the homing missiles off).
Used to play with a mate all the time, working for his businesses. Around the last time he played the game he gave me enough money to start off right threw mods, since then ive been the solo player
I'm a business money grinder. Lone wolf (all my crew don't play anymore lol) I'm only ever in freemode. But I also do this weird thing where I only allow myself one life per day. So regardless of if it takes 3 minutes or 3 hours for me to die / get killed in a lobby - that's it. Game over for the day. This forces me to actually play my other games 😆
It's fascinating the rules we create for ourselves, the games within games. For instance being new to GTAO I want to play through some of the original lower level content as players had to do back in the day, so they had more health etc for higher level heists and other updates, I'm only lvl 36 and it takes about 2 bullets to kill me with full armor. So I'm focusing more on those and racing and other ways to get my level up instead of following YT guides on how to get rich quick.
I'm both a grinder and a roleplayer. I based my first character after myself, took a pict of my face from upfront, right and left side, proceed to make it as similar as possible. My second character's face is based on Kimi Raikkonen's face, named it Kimi, and guess what, I mainly race Open Wheel cars with my second character.
You forget The Wingman : ready to become bodyguard and help selling, setup, etc to complete stranger. The Good Boss : have everything and millions but still do non solo heist. However, he will get 15% in finale. The rest is up to agreement The two wheelers : prefer motorcycle at all time when driving around The language barrier : player that chat in their native language instead of englisb
I'm definitely money grinder. I was hooked on doing cayo from day one. After grinding enough to buy every business all maxed up. I carried on. I now have over 100 hundred million sat there buying the odd car here and there. I'm just lucky enough to have done that all before they nerffed cayo. I now grind the hanger lol in my own lobby away from the children's lobbies
if the tryhard has morals he is the best, promise. i am „tryhard“ and i keep a couple of people around me that do i would consider tryhardy, too, great snipers, a grinder yesterday who i am close friends with since a year he wrote yesterday, he never does pvp only missions PvE, he wrote „but they dont know that if they shoot at me they have 4 pro pvp‘er returning fire“ so the tryhard can get frustrated because he doesnt have a community who invites him to have someone to protect and therefore keep him busy with fighting and practicing his sport which is pvp, so its pretty valueable as a tryhard to have some sense in my head of yeah i could randomkill this dude but i should not; to have morals ; my strategy always is to let the opponent start the fight but to finish the fight myself; there is a lot of players in this game who are really just in the mindset of it does not matter if they waste another players time by shooting at them ; so my reasonation for this whole thing is „there already is a lot of players trying to hurt me, so i dont have to create my own drama by doing the same“ so i dont randomkill i would still consider myself tryhardy but ee Griefers are worse i promise you most tryhards if they have morals dont start a fight unless they have a motive that was provided, therefore i would consider the cargogriefers worse because they dont have a motive to destroy cargo they just do it for fun and we are the ones as tryhards that kill the griefers for fun until they leave the lobby ❤️
It’s funny that if you’ve played GTAO for long enough, you generally find yourself falling into each of these different categories. For myself I started off as a casual noob who just played the game to mess around with friends, then I gradually shifted into a grinder once all my friends I made eventually just stopped playing; most people I’ve met over the years have said they had just grew tired of the game while I ended up doing everything there was. I’m definitely ready for GTA6 now tho
I'm the last guy, just waiting for GTA 6... I've been through a few phases, but mostly grinding, roleplaying (if you ever found the riddler, it was me) or patrolling against griefers
Im definitely a roleplayer and vehicle-gal. Buying clothes and vehicles, going to meets, exploring the map for those collectables and taking screenshots. I tried The Crew since it also had flying and i couldnt get into it.
Im not only a solo player but I’m also a supportive player, wich means I always help low lvl players with their heists and setups. I even made a video of it.
I guess technically I'm a solo player however I do play with a friend for Diamond, Cayo and or just f-ing about occasionally. Really invite only sessions are a blessing and often times I do partake in Acid Lab sells and Dre Contracts. I think I'm far from any of these titles which is good except of course being a solo player sorta. Thanks TGG for the video.
A couple of days there was this player that i thought they'd wanted to race me. When they got closer they bombed me (i got my revenge after) than pulled out a mk2
you forgot the collector, similar to car guy but instead of just buying every car that gets their fancy the collector is after the rare stuff, like super rare paintjobs, unlisted liveries, cars with unique body work like the panelless buggy or a hearse without a coffin, an insurgent pickup custom without a turret, a zhaba without fenders and basically anything else you can't jus hop into a menu to buy
I am a mix of a couple. Originally a grinder and car guy, retired and became a regularly playing casual and found an interest in creating races and helping low levels get the hang of the game whilst anti-griefing. After 5/6 dlcs my retirement fund became low and I reverted back into grinder mode before recently retiring again and picking up the stunt track pieces.
I'm definitely the hopeful, but I used to be the solo/grinder. I got to 500 mil legit and thought that was enough considering I had everything in the game! 😂
Great video as usual , For me I’m currently the friendly modder who hosts modded heists to help lower levelers get some good cash to start their gta online campaign , as an ex-grinder myself who grinded this game for 500+ hours and earned 100M+ legally , I know how hard grinding could be especially when you’re new and don’t have enough money to buy good vehicles or businesses that could help ease the grinding process for you , so I just host modded casino heists for players which gives them around 2.5M each which should be enough to at least give them a good head start
I grind on Xbox but use the help of mods on pc, only issue with mods is you get super bored of the game quickly. Grinding isn't that easy or fun but it gives you something to do every time u get on.
It’s really about finding a heist I got lucky when I started my next gen account from scratch June 2022 I kept joining cayos until I had enough to buy my own kosatka no I have 1.5 billion dollars to characters one level 540 the other 317
I guess I best fit the roleplayer type. I am in the CIAA Crew. Your crew emblem is the IAA emblem with the eagle on it. I have it on most of my cars and on the back of my jacket. I also wear the IAA badge.
One of the best players I’ve played with was when I was doing the pacific heist van setup and a guy was trying to mess it up by staying in the van while it needed to be destroyed. He killed himself prior that so that it would end the mission. The guy driving the van instead drove it into the water effectively saving the mission. Never gonna forget that
The anti-griefers are some of the most skilled players in the game. Granted, the game has a fairly low skill ceiling but these guys are GOOD. I've benefited from them a few times and if you're reading this and you're one of them, I thank you for the good work you've done. It is very much appreciated.
@Zerty-LGCY I mean the ones I've encountered both on my side and against me they do whatever it takes to protect everyone sometimes I see them solo and sometimes they got thier team in a organization and they don't grief they just stomp on bullies till they leave or go passive
It's because most of them were old school tryhards. There was a sort of honor in playing fair and staying in your weight class, so to speak. But the wanna-be tryhards took over and ruined it so now we all antigrief
I remember once I was trying to sell acid lab in a public lobby for the public lobby bonus and some random guy drops by with a raiden. To my benefit, they were an anti cargo griefer offering protection in the lobby while I did my sale. Thanks bud, I'd do the same!
I can say that I belong to several types of players at once. I've been playing the game quite a bit lately (I've started in 2013), but I've never been into grinding as such. Maximum - sometimes I did a little of what I have. Usually I just use heist glitches, buy what I need, and do what's interesting. Simply put, I collect everything the game has to offer. The only pity is that despite the fact that I have friends and they have GTA, they don’t really want to play it with me(
I am a retired money grinder now enjoying life as a troll. My favorite tools to mess around with are the arena war vehicles, the Vigilante, the remote controlled vehicles and the nano drone. Role players love/hate me
I’m usually a solo money grinder/car guy until a tryhard, griefer or a tryhard wannabe blows me up and I unleash my wrath on them until they logout. I also love helping newbies and when they’re having a hard time I usually help make money or protect against griefers. That’s when I have time.
I came across a good modder once. First he teleported everyone to Chilliad so I thought he was bad, then I tried my luck and asked him if he could just teleport me to my objective. Feller was kind enough to do so.
another type of modder(s): free mod menus, of course there's the evil one which even with a free menu will try their best to ruin others's fun, then theres the friendly one which tries to help you with flying through the city, offering help in some setups and you can ask them to be your friend (ik from experience), these guys cant drop money but they make gta a bit more enjoyable with shenanigans.
I was a grinder and a money glitch player now I just go on to buy whatever new car they put out cause I have a lot of money don’t know what to do with it 😂
i guess i'm an odd mix between the casual but without the shark cards, the car guy, a solo player, and a grinder. I mainly do my few businesses, pull a heist, work a bit on one of my cars or doing a few races with them, and carry on. Maybe once a week or so. All of that in Friends Only servers.
Actually, I’ve met quite a few car guys that owned every weaponized vehicle in the game. They would use those for car meets also knocking two birds out with one stone while protecting the car meets from other players that were Griefers.
I’m a solo, grinding, trolling anti griever. Although, during my shenanigans I have found similar players to me and rarely play solo anymore, and my form of trolling is absolutely harmless. I park npc cars in front of the doors of stores with people in them and message them “what is the magic password”. Or just simply follow people who look like they’re in a rush and when I catch them I msg them “I have been trying to contact you about your cars extended warranty”.
As someone in between Roleplay and Casual, I find it really interesting! Even if i'm not on roleplay serv, I prefer to play a way that reflect my character personality, and (mostly) doing things that will be logical for them to do... Like buying a real house, not a car park. Or starting a big company, with all the buildings needed but not the non necessery to their business... And doing mission that (mostly) fit their (illegal, we are still in GTA) business without being a 200% death rate.
I don't have the PC to really engage with other players a lot (stuck in a pendulum between 10 and .05 FPS) but the other day my game functioned enough that I could see someone in a post-OP sell mission, and I decided to whip out my best weaponised vehicle (oppressor mark one) and defend them. Took out an oncoming player's jet a few times. I receive your salute for anti-griefers and salute back - I just hope the seller was happy to be protected :)
I fall into multiple classes here…Money grinder but also have the benefits of your glitch grinder stats but with ZERO glitching…just legit grinding, definitely a car ‘gal’ 😉, also a solo player (mostly) but enjoy hanging with friends as well, as of late though, I would fall into the casual player meaning I will let my businesses and money build up without grinding them haul it in when the feeling hits me. 😉
Mix of the car guy, solo, and casual minus buying shark cards. I enjoy collecting the classic cars, typically play alone, and when I do it is only on ocassion after my day job.
I’m a solo car guy with the heart of a noob and a touch of side grinding. Plus I’ve been here since the beginning. Of the franchise not the 5th instalment. Great video by the way.
Straight roleplayer here! To the extent that evertime, I would literally open my car trunk and approach it before equipping any weapons/gears since pulling them out of thin air would seem off and unrealistic
I'm quite a couple of player types. The majority i'm the solo player, the casual one and the money grinder. When i'm playing in public lobbies i'm roleplaying as either a cop or taxi driver whilst staying in passive mode.
As a solo and casual player, i can relate to this video much. As for money drops from the good modders, from my personal experience with them (things aren't looking as bad as they say on pc) usually they can give you from 100-150k maximum, after that, rockstar blocks it saying it's an unauthorized transaction. Overall from my 2 years of experience on ps3 and about 2+ years on pc, i wouldn't say that pc isn't filled with modders, but at least they're less of them ever since rockstar started to ban them/or limiting their mod menu's as best as they can. It isn't ps3 era when a modder could've give you 12 milion without any consequences. As far as i have played on both of those platforms, most of the modders I've met were friendly towards me, and the mosr things we did in gta online were the heists when the modder could teleport us to the place without the additional driving. Overall, the modders in GTA aren't that bad as long as they don't lock you up in cages/teleport you to Vespucci beach only to blow you up which happened to me more than once during my gta online playthroughs.
Casual / grinder here I think summed it perfectly i usually play gta online from time to time with friends and would hop on if there's a good gta event, while i do grind i always try to grind by using different businesses rather than rely on one business that way i don't get burnt out.
the way you described the GTA6 hopeful ,personally speaking, is so accurate, I couldn’t have said it better myself. Have my like….. long time sub, love the channel…
im a car guy in gta and and irl. i just love playing gta for the cars, the driving is fun, the drifting is fun. i do mindlessly roam around los santos for fun and watching the server burn with griefers in the air. my friends rarely play the game now but i still do.. just to drive. The music, sunsets are all awesome. the only time u will catch me grinding money is when theres a new update coming up, cuz i need money for the new content and cars (like the current one coming up), this is when ill rally my friends and we go grinding
I used to be a pvp player during ps3 and ps4 when people actively hunted each other down for bounties etc. However since now businesses are a thing and they make you good money, found myself becoming a money grinder. There's just a relaxing feeling chilling solo running with your favorite car across Los Santos doing runs for your businesses
I was an anti-griefer, but i stopped because everyone saw me as the griefer (all i did was get close and defend products) yet i was always shot at and messaged "LZzzzzz"
I just like to run my businesses in a invite only lobby. All I ever wanted from gta was more things to do in single player after the story was completed and playing online solo in a invite only lobby is the best alternative we’ve got.
That was such a random advertisement placement and intro lol much prefer them at the end. Even the very beginning is better as long as there isn’t an ad from UA-cam right after
I like to often find low levels in lobbies and invite them to my CEO and teach them how to run Cayo and Casino. Made a fair few friends doing it and helped a lot of them start grinding.

Just in the past week I've run into modders who just give money and xp, I went from level 110 to 378 in an hour (I also got a mil but I own every business and property so I don't really need money, I make enough millions myself)
But yeah idk what you guys are doing in your lobbies but maybe it's wrong.
I’m literally most of this all in one, I love cars, I grind make money, I kill ppl too because it’s GTA FFS. I’m most of these perceived “GTA Types” intertwined into one

I miss my old gta group. We would play everyday but once the pandemic ended we all kinda just moved on
Here, Here!
Ironic that I rarely play bus simulators nowadays because I found them too routine and repetitive now that you’ve said that

This happened to me couple days ago, they also helped me sell some stock
I was doing a counterfeit cash sell mission and saw a oppressor mkII flying towards me at max speed. I pulled out the uzi and got ready to defend myself. But when he got close, he didn't open fire. He flew a bit behind me, and I was able to complete the mission. o7 to that guy
That's what i do alot of the time. I got everything I need. I hate when people ruin sales.
Im that guy...
😂
I am a combination of "the grinder" and "the casual". I play sometimes, but I don't have lots of money so I grind playing Cayo Perico to buy what I need and they I leave.
I'm a solo, anti-greifer and grinder. Sometimes I play with friends, but mostly whenever they're not online I just grind the hell out of the game. Making 4 milllion each time I play solo while helping others from griefers.
You missed some:
1. The Never Ready. You want to start a mission that requires other players, they will never ready up. And when the mission starts after the countdown they will sit at the start until they are kicked from inactivity and restart your progress

The 16th type of player is practically extinct these days; "The Racer." There was a group of us that had so much fun with the regular, stunt and whatever other types of races there are in the game. Sadly, outside of adding a few new Hot Ring tracks a year or so ago, Rockstar pretty much abandoned the racing content. Our group pretty much all met on GTA via racing, but we've all moved on to other racing games now. At least Broughy1322 keeps that candle burning.

People driving the Adder, Entity XF and Cheetah would be so mad in the voice chat because they lost to an electric stock car. I kind of miss those times

Thats just called being a normal human being

Honestly i think of myself as a mix of 3 of these types: Solo, roleplayer, Casual
There'll be times when i dont touch GTA for weeks (maybe even months) but when i do, i go to invite only session (and either play alone or with a friend or two) and just run my businesses, play semi RP to immerse myself and just generally wanna have a peaceful time for a few hours of fun.
Roles that I fit:
Car guy: I have tons of themed garages and I always spend more money and time than I should just to customize my cars lol. But I love my cars very much
Solo/Money grinder: I usually jump into invite only sessions and start doing my money grinding routine
Roleplayer: I sometimes roleplay as a taxi driver who do the taxi work, or a secret agent who do missions and contracts with armored vehicles
Love your videos by the way ❤
I go around starting wars, so fun, pull up on an area with people and start going crazy, it’ll attract other people in the session.

Rockstar needs to add a token system for people that help on missions, add in larger $ incentives for having multiple players involved.
Genius
Definitely falling under the anti-griefer territory. He said we "patrol" lobbies and he couldn't be more correct. We're watching that kill feed watching anyone ruining the whole lobby for everyone. What led me to this was the amount of griefers I would get when I started. Wasn't easy lemme tell you. Going from a grinder to anti-griefer wasn't easy but the game became so much more fun and I've made so many friends
What's your tag?
To be a good anti-griefer you first have to be a grinder because if not you would basically be a poor batman.
I originally thought they were gonna take the vehicles and run away with it but they didn't
my version of trolling is laying slick mines everywhere in close vicinity to the car shop and watch people trying to get in or out, it's so funny 😂
One of my favorite memories of Gta was in 2020 when me and my buddy went session hopping hunting griefers and Tryhards
I keep all the cars I like in my auto shop or in my arena wars workshop
I consider myself to be an anti-griefer, having done everything in the game and have most of everything, I get bored and so I tend to keep an eye out for any usernames which keep killing random people and go straight for them, most times they just leave but sometimes they dont get the hint.
I really respect people like you who go out their way and help out others but a lot of anti-griefers sadly get it completely backwards. I could be blown up during a sales mission and when I start fighting back afterwards some "anti-griefer" joins in and starts trying to kill me because they think I'm the griefer just because of their little hero complex..

How does that work against other modders
i play with a mod menu too, mostly to just on god mode for me and my car and cruise around the city. i would help others, to get them to a safe location away from the other modders and griefers.
@@Omegaxtreme Good mod menus detect and alert you of anyone else using cheats so you can kick them before they cause any harm. They also let you take measures to block specific people from joining your public session entierly.

Tryhards and griefers are the worst.
Tbh wannabe Tryhards are worse
if the tryhard has morals he is the best, promise. i am „tryhard“ and i keep a couple of people around me that do i would consider tryhardy, too, great snipers, a grinder yesterday who i am close friends with since a year he wrote yesterday, he never does pvp only missions PvE, he wrote „but they dont know that if they shoot at me they have 4 pro pvp‘er returning fire“ so the tryhard can get frustrated because he doesnt have a community who invites him to have someone to protect and therefore keep him busy with fighting and practicing his sport which is pvp, so its pretty valueable as a tryhard to have some sense in my head of yeah i could randomkill this dude but i should not; to have morals ; my strategy always is to let the opponent start the fight but to finish the fight myself; there is a lot of players in this game who are really just in the mindset of it does not matter if they waste another players time by shooting at them ; so my reasonation for this whole thing is „there already is a lot of players trying to hurt me, so i dont have to create my own drama by doing the same“ so i dont randomkill i would still consider myself tryhardy but ee Griefers are worse i promise you most tryhards if they have morals dont start a fight unless they have a motive that was provided, therefore i would consider the cargogriefers worse because they dont have a motive to destroy cargo they just do it for fun and we are the ones as tryhards that kill the griefers for fun until they leave the lobby ❤️
Griefers are the best players, Roleplayers are the saddest.

Never gonna forget that
9:47 is wild 😂😂
One thing I love about anti griefers is the insane level of skill they have
The anti-griefers are some of the most skilled players in the game. Granted, the game has a fairly low skill ceiling but these guys are GOOD. I've benefited from them a few times and if you're reading this and you're one of them, I thank you for the good work you've done. It is very much appreciated.
That’s Sometimes debatable tbh
@Zerty-LGCY I mean the ones I've encountered both on my side and against me they do whatever it takes to protect everyone sometimes I see them solo and sometimes they got thier team in a organization and they don't grief they just stomp on bullies till they leave or go passive
@Zerty-LGCY I can see your point tho
The only pity is that despite the fact that I have friends and they have GTA, they don’t really want to play it with me(
I've cycled through all of these playstyles over the years, except for casual and griefer. The beauty of this game is its variety.
I am a retired money grinder now enjoying life as a troll. My favorite tools to mess around with are the arena war vehicles, the Vigilante, the remote controlled vehicles and the nano drone. Role players love/hate me
Can hold down a griefer with passive +cops for shunting ammo in a Brutus for days
I’m usually a solo money grinder/car guy until a tryhard, griefer or a tryhard wannabe blows me up and I unleash my wrath on them until they logout.
I also love helping newbies and when they’re having a hard time I usually help make money or protect against griefers. That’s when I have time.
💀 bro let’s the inner wolf out to eat their fucking soul or smth?????
2:46 this was definitely set up because the guy is literally dressed up as the guy from the confused meme still love the video
forgot about the evil troll , the one that trolls and actually kills you till it becomes a serious 1v1 and then both parties say GGs 😆
When I was noob in 2018 I have known everything about GTA online so I was grinding CEO crates with the buzzard when I was 45 lv.
I came across a good modder once. First he teleported everyone to Chilliad so I thought he was bad, then I tried my luck and asked him if he could just teleport me to my objective. Feller was kind enough to do so.
I sometimes wish I never stopped playing. It's been 5+ yrs but I still love watching videos from people.
another type of modder(s): free mod menus, of course there's the evil one which even with a free menu will try their best to ruin others's fun, then theres the friendly one which tries to help you with flying through the city, offering help in some setups and you can ask them to be your friend (ik from experience), these guys cant drop money but they make gta a bit more enjoyable with shenanigans.
As a car guy, you also catch us doing missions we really don't want to do, but desperately needs the money to get even more cars
As someone who used to grind this game, was a solo, was a noob, a casual , a anti griefer and now a friendly modder, I see this as an absolute win
I'm a solo player, and a roleplayer. I love playing as Pippi Longstocking in GTA Online.
Solo player and car guy is here😅 And partly grinder, but i stop grinding as soon as i get something i want
I like playing in a full lobby the thrill of will I make it or not just makes the game fun for me
Mix of the car guy, solo, and casual minus buying shark cards.
Any time I get a bounty, I always try to find the lowest level player so they can get the money. We all were there once
I'm a car guy and I love it, so fun buying and modifying cars and then testing them with friends in the LS Car Meet. Good times for sure 😌
I'm a grinder/car guy/solo player. I don't do car meets, but I do like to collect cars and motorcycles. I mostly play invite only sessions.
I literally just saw an ad for gta v account mods while watching this. Crazy
As a solo player I DID NOT even know that you can have more people in your organization aside from myself the the assistant
And you forgot the player with goals. They work too complete every award added with each dlc and works toward community challenges
Casual / grinder here
I think summed it perfectly i usually play gta online from time to time with friends and would hop on if there's a good gta event, while i do grind i always try to grind by using different businesses rather than rely on one business that way i don't get burnt out.
the way you described the GTA6 hopeful ,personally speaking, is so accurate, I couldn’t have said it better myself.
Even the very beginning is better as long as there isn’t an ad from UA-cam right after
1:50 WHAT NO! WHO WOULD DO THAT!? (nervous laughter)
I like to often find low levels in lobbies and invite them to my CEO and teach them how to run Cayo and Casino. Made a fair few friends doing it and helped a lot of them start grinding.
