Hello friends. I am Lia from the city of Rosario in Argentina. I tell you that that curious percussion instrument that Alexandro uses while he sings is a traditional Andean instrument called: CAJCHAS. It is not made from seeds but from animal hooves. In the past they were the hooves of South American camelids (llamas or alpacas) but today the hooves of sheep or goats are more common. When people from indigenous peoples consume an animal, they use ALL parts of the animal for something. That is why it is not unusual for some musical instruments to be made from animal remains.
That's a good thing, music is the best creation by humans, no lenguaje necessary when music speaks by itself, you can feel the pain. That's what makes you human.
