Something I love about sims three is how much you can change everything. My mom plays sims three and you can change individual colors and fabrics on clothes and stuff.

I've been playing the 100 baby challenge with the MCC mod for a while now and it's so fun to watch all the kids go off and start families on their own! One of my sons has 5 kids, all from different mothers 😂

@@rachelcookie321 with the new neighborhood stories thing it's way more common for inactive households to do their own thing if you enable it, they can get married and adopt kids/have babies, move and etc. Sometimes nothing happens though! I played a legacy challenge recently and most of the spares I moved out still died alone, but if you can set them up with a partner they end up having kids pretty consistently
@@hibiscuspetals02 yea but the neighbour stories thing is super janky. Like if a sim is family oriented they always have like six children. It will just mess up my game instead of making it feel more alive.

With my 100 baby house I made the kids and teens rooms on the upper floor, accessible only by ladder. Toddlers can't go and wake the kids up when they have nightmares. The mom and baby room on the ground floor is locked to all but mom. There's a toddler room next to her room and a dog door connecting them so the toddlers can wake her up if they need to.
I like putting a shower-tub combo in my 100 baby challenge houses, that way I can have the mom woohoo in the shower and I don't need to spend money on a double bed
I lock my toddlers in a room off the livingroom but with that cute toddler stuff fence and gate so that they don't seem quite as locked in and people can see them if they're in the livingroom (bit like a giant playpen) so I feel better about doing it 🙈😂
Thats why i always get it. I am constantly picking my outside can back up i swear. And no. You can put the potty waste in the money can and get money back
The play tent from dream home decorator could be a really useful for this I reckon! It can function as a bed for 2 toddlers/children at once and it gives imagination + fun as well.
I've thought of a fun challenge if you're interested. In the game if you max your sim up in painting, they can create emotion paintings. Paint each emotion and turn them into each room of a house! Hey Kayla a suggestion that might be interesting: USE STANLEY! the version of 100 babies I do is where you have a male sim who has 100 alien babies! I like using custom content to make each kid look really unique because they’re aliens! Hell you could have color coded children for convenience!
I am currently doing a 100 baby challenge plus a complete every collection, aspiration, max every skill and career, have every trait in the game, AND do it all with ONE SIM (by using the youth potion unlocked by points). So far a have a billionaire, great great grandmother, never needs to sleep, eat, shower, or socialize, super sim 😎
Changing the bed sheets and bed frame separately would be a dream come true. Either that or actually making the wood swatches match with each other instead of being slightly different

I'd really like to see another one of these for even more Sims and a big budget, like for when you're on generation 3 or 4 and almost done and you wanna consolidate everyone in one house so you can make them crank out babies, but you still want it took look decent and for the babies to just gain skills so they can age up already
I'm not certain if one has already mentioned this, however, Kayla, there is no need for you to have an outside litter bin as the can inside will do quite fine with all the garbage! As it transforms everything into the money, there wiil never be a problem with it being overfilled and it'll always work just fine and the simoleons otherwise spent on the outside can shall definitely come in handy!
I always love seeing how other people do the 100 Baby Challenge. My house setup is similar, but different in a lot of ways. I will say though, I love my "toddler suite" design for keeping the toddlers occupied and contained lol
I like to make a small closet to put the babies in and lock that door and it's small enough that usually they won't put down the toddler they just aged up in the locked room. Also, if you have the play tent, use it because 2 toddler/child sims can sleep in it and it gets up creativity/imagination. Plus, the play tent gets up energy faster than the toddler beds.
Simsie I saw this house on the gallery a few weeks ago and renovated it using (primarily) Dream Home Decorator and Decor to the Max. I think it turned out pretty cute!

That layout is actually really good! You could put a door between the bathroom and the toddlers' room so that you can still lock them in into their rooms (you lock the bathroom main entrance as well for them) but can still bathe and toilet train them.

I noticed on their updates, needs get filled faster when they eat or watch TV. The thing they took away is the adults being able to play dolls with their toddler. I can't do it anyway. I made a bunker for mines! I ended up getting through 23 babies within just a few days bc I was redridden at the time & I built a bunker & a went through a whole generation & stuff, it was super fun! The bunker is hard to navigate I will admit, the skills are all on the “top floor” aka that floor is just below the ground & there’s a balcony entrance & it takes you to the spellcaster & art stuff (oh yeah my sim is a spellcaster), then there’s a pool in the middle & on an unconnected area is the plants & you need to go downstairs then back up to access it 😩 I made things complicated for myself lol I shouldn’t have done that. But it looks cool 🤷♀️ (Except my sims are always miserable bc apparently it doesn’t) My original sim I completely randomised except for her outfits, she was called Kaila funnily enough & I loveeee her, she was a celebrity & became a spellcaster during one of her final pregnancies, she collected a ton of stuff & gave it to her kid when she was an elder. She literally died while painting & was one away from her next celebrity start, rip. Her last like.. five kids were spellcasters & the youngest ended up being AMAB so instead of using their older sister, I just decided to play with their gender settings & idk make them transmasc nonbinary. They’re very cool & their name is Cameron (lucked out with the gender neutral name). I think I’m at maybe 28 kids rn? Also I’m playing on short lifespan so there’s like four or five generations on the family tree even though Cameron is only a young adult & in the second generation 😭😂 ALSO my first two kids were twins & I loved them sm I miss them :(( & my.. I think third & fourth kids were royalty 😌✨ obviously not actually but I put all my sims from my main saves in it & I have a medieval save & the dad was the king. I wanted Kaila to marry him but he was already an adult or an elder so that wasn’t gonna happen. Rip King Mauricio Of Amoria 😔 She ended up marrying a vampire lol, he was the dad to some of the middle kids but ofc was immortal. Ish.. he died of sun exposure like.. when Kaila died 🫠 oops

I usually get so bored, I have played this challenge like four time & I usually give up after three kids or smth but for some reason this one just gave me a lot of motivation. I guess because I was hyperfixating on the sims when I started 😂 I haven’t played much since Cameron became the parent but they had a kid with the Grim Reaper last time I played 😌 Tbh you just need to find ways to make it fun! If you like occults, try to have them climb the occult tree! If you like celebrities, have them become world famous! If your game goes too slow, go short life span. Have your kids get married before they leave! Have other challenges in the same save! Add all of your favourite sims & have them make cameos! My oldest kid married someone from a save file I spent over a year on & it was so nice to have her be part of the family! You can also have kids with occults or famous sims or etc :))

i had the same problem with locking kids out preventing partners getting in so instead of putting "lock for everyone but.." i go and lock for each specific sim in the household so it doesn't bug me later

Yes! I lock my toddlers in a room, and lock my infants in a small room too. Only mom has access to them. Makes it so much easier.

What if you did a get rich quick using the fancy trashcan? Stanley would have to get more folks in his houshold to exploit the system.
If you use a club door, you can lock the door for everyone but club members. Just add the men into a club. It also helps the relationship build faster
If you make the kids read the vampire books and get to level 4, they keep the skill when they age up

Tbh you just need to find ways to make it fun! If you like occults, try to have them climb the occult tree! If you like celebrities, have them become world famous! If your game goes too slow, go short life span. Have your kids get married before they leave! Have other challenges in the same save! Add all of your favourite sims & have them make cameos! My oldest kid married someone from a save file I spent over a year on & it was so nice to have her be part of the family! You can also have kids with occults or famous sims or etc :))

in Sims 3 you could change every colour separately. Actually, it was INSANE regarding customisation

I cannot stay focused on 100 baby challenge. it stresses me the hell out lmao and I also can't even get past the mint generation every time I start the Not So Berry challenge. Its such a cool creative challenge and I love it and I love how you do your legacy challenges but I, for some reason, CANNOT stick with it. lol

i had the same problem with locking kids out preventing partners getting in so instead of putting "lock for everyone but.." i go and lock for each specific sim in the household so it doesn't bug me later
