The first thing is the many affairs he’s had including one while she was pregnant. Secondly, his inability to properly provide for his family. Thirdly, Beth has told Ruby that she has never loved Dean in the way that Ruby loves Stan. Also, it’s not the 1950s anymore and the notion that Beth shouldn’t get divorced to protect the kids from being stigmatized as coming from “broken” homes isn’t reason to stay married. Add in how Dean got possessive after she kicked him out, the way he manipulated his way back into the house by faking cancer and his chauvinistic attitude toward Beth’s contributions are cooking, cleaning and raising the kids as well as Dean was in need of such validation and his ego in need so much stroking that he had his wife buy him a business from the woman he slept with to make himself feel better after he saw Beth get dressed up for Rio then once the store is open, Dean turned over the books to prove that he’s the man and his wife does what he tells her to do.
In fact, the longer Beth stays married to the likes of that lying, cheating, sexist, incompetent faker then the more she is disrespecting herself. I don’t think Beth can be portrayed as a strong, powerful woman while she stays married to a dumbass like Dean. There is no legit reason to stay married, not even the kids because he will always be their father.
So, she needs a divorce for her own sake.
Elizabeth broke his heart again same things with his brother and cousin.
They decision to save them self instead of him.

I honestly don't get why she would ever choose him. In the beginning it was fun, she had power, he had power, they were great together. But at the end Beth was stuck, scared, powerless and he didn't give her anything.

I feel like he wanted her to turn him in. At the start of the episode he tells her she has to give them something so they will trust her. Then threatens her kids... He knows her well enough that she would pick her kids. Then when he's leaving that scene he tells her to keep her head up they are playing the long game. (Like he already had a plan in his head) I don't know, it just didn't make since to me. I mean how could she have choose him. Giving herself to the secret service?? So many questions kinda left unanswered. Really wish we could have a season 5.
It hasn't been that long that season 4 was released so they should just pick it up and make a 5th season when finally they are partners ,or she's a boss bitch by day and Rio's lover by night,cos they are not material for a regular everyday couple but that doesn't mean they can't be in love and be together in a committed relationship .It's even better than being husband and wife ,more interesting and she doesn't have to do the wifey stuff for him cos she's been a wifey all her adult life till Rio brought out the boss bitch in her.
So anyway after all the struggle and games and betrayal finally the viewers could enjoy them ruling together.

Can anyone do a spoiler for season 4? Is the show still wanna Beth to get rid off Rio or so? I’m totally sick of Beth’s behavior I can’t even follow her emotion flows... She was my favorite character in the show but not anymore.
