This episode is the defining moment for Rio. He’s been cagey about his feelings for Beth. His bro/cousin beat his ass over Beth. No one takes a beating like that over just a partner or money maker. Beth officially became more trouble than she’s worth when she put three slugs in him. But getting shot and beat for her. He loves her and won’t leave her. Beths the last piece on the chess board and the queen always needs her king.
Yes! He cares a lot for her and I'm sure she cares for him as well, even though she still needs to realize that.

He has one role in her life and it won't change with a divorce because he won't stop being the father of her kids but it is time for him to stop being her husband. It is cringeworthy to watch an intelligent woman demean herself for the sake of Dean's ego and he buys it which says a lot about him as man, mostly it says Dean a very small man and it explains perfectly why he so easily bought into a Ponzi scheme which is hopefully going to be the final nail in coffin of their long dead marriage.
I think the cousin is going to target Beth. Every time she's tried ending Rio would hurt the partnership with the cousin and could potentially expose him to the public which would be the end of his life for all intents and purposes. If Rio saves her from his own family then it would show her that the sex is mind blowing because they connect on more levels than physical attraction.
It's also not a coincidence that his special gift was the Queen because it was more like a special gift for his Queen and I don't think the message was lost on Elizabeth like it was for Annie and Ruby.

Can I say, this is by far, the best brio vid you've ever make? I can feel my heart beating so fast as the video goes to the end part. It's like this video is a culmination of brio s1-s4. This is soooo goodd I loved it, especially where you matched the clips with the gun sound effects. Great job as always! Also I would like to share my opinion about this ep... I really liked it and I loved the fact that they made it clear that Nick's the boss and that they put a whole new prespective into Rio's characther. I don't really like that Stan doesn't like Beth (it's not that I dont like the storyline or whatever I just want all of them to be okay with each other idk how to explain it but it also makes sense that he is mad at her so.. lmao) but I think it was good that he burst out on her because Stan made her realise that she is hurting other people by what she is does and we saw her kind of hating on herself beacuse of that and I believe that in the next episodes she is gonna try to make things better and safer. Now back to Rio... I really never thought that him killing Lucy was atcually him trying to protect Beth I think that was very interesting and then the fact that he was beaten up as a panisment was amazing idk but now I see Rio way diferently. As for Brio I really liked the queen refrence and that this was her "special" gift from him. Judging by the park scene I think the develoment of Brio is gonna come out very beautifly cause I think them being vulnerable like that meaning Beth finally seeing who he really is and Rio seeing that she is hating on herself (and she might even try to punish herself or smth like that) is gonna make them come closer and help each other out by taking down Nick so they will both come out of their misery. They are gonna find strength in each other's vulnerability! Last but not least I really liked that we saw more story about the other characters as well. (this is just a theory :) If you actually read this whoever you are I love you and thank you sorry autumnxleaves for writting literallly a book and sorry for my english as well hope you understood my point :)

I agree with every single word you said, I don't like the fact that Stan kind of hates Beth and blames her for everything that happened, even though I do agree with him when he says she's a bit selfish. As for Nick, I don't like him at all - and I doubt anyone actually does - but I can't wait for him to cause some trouble, cause this will probably push Beth and Rio close again. Loved it when they revealed that Rio killed Lucy for Beth, I felt so sorry for him when he showed up at the park with that nasty black eye!

I loved this episode. It showed that Rio has strong feelings for Elizabeth and it was also nice to see Stan take Beth down a notch, which was long overdue and I was glad he brought up the shooting. The reason it happened is because she was working against Rio and she needs to work with him. She should be his Queen. And she needs to get rid of the town fool.

I think Liz won’t leave dean and the kids and she’s trying to convince herself she can just leave this life but I think since dean is starting to realize shes in it deep he’s going to leave her and take the kids away from her which will then be the reason why her and rio end up together and she stays doing this lifestyle because nothing is holding her back anymore which would be sad because she would lose her family

I have watched so many of these edits and I keep comong back to this one. It's so good and has so many subtle parallels showing that Beth and Rio are essentially the same person. My theory is that the love triangle won't be with Nick. Beth is too smart to get involved his family. Maybe a woman from Rio's past would force her come to terms with her feelings.

But I hope that the love triangle is not about giving Rio competition but shaking Beth's cage because I think Rio is aware of his strong feelings for her. Personally, this is one of the best episodes so far. I'm glad we got a glimpse of Rio and Nick's relationship, it put Rio in a new light and I felt so bad for him when Nick hit him for killing Lucy without his consent. It's pretty clear by now he's the big boss and he's gonna cause some trouble for Rio and our girls, especially if he realizes how much Beth means for Rio; he's ruthless and I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate to get rid of her if she became a problem for him or his business. As for Brio, sadly we didn't get much of them, but I really liked the Queen reference at the end of the episode. I think Rio is really trying to forget what she did to him, but she needs to stop pretending she hates him and the crime life and start working with him for real.
