A lot of people didn't like the end of the show, but honestly the parallels were very well done. My criticism is just about the waiting time, it took 4 seasons to Beth accept who she really is, this should have happened at the beginning of the season 3, if she hadn't shot Rio and if she had started working with him. Then we probably would have a season 5 now. I'm sad about the end, now we would have like a thousand possibilities with Brio as partners, they would definitely build an empire. It wasn't supposed to end like this because the show was cancelled unexpectedly. So I'm so glad we got this ending. I agree with you, I feel like they've spent so much time in season 3 for nothing. I am so glad the writers Jenna, Jeannine, & Carla wrote the last two episodes open for more storylines. I hope there is a change of heart and they get picked back up. It'd be awesome if Netflix picked it up. I think it could be even racier than it is. I think then it could gain even more fan-ship! I am absolutely in love with the characters and story!
The producers tried. Netflix denied to pick them up, and other streamings can't because of a contract thing they have with Netflix. And Manny Montana refused how much they were paying him and that was pretty much the whole reason they canceled. It's too bad I can't believe it...
But NBC alredy produces the show for you guys in USA, but Netflix distributes for the rest of the world as a Netflix Original. So the fandom is pretty solid out here too...

There are lots of ppl who don't like who they work with, but they stay for that check. No one is giving up a check especially during these times over not liking folks! Not even a celebrity.

Although the show was about crime, betrayal, and totally immoral (amoral?) the writers captured the boring monotony and wasted lives experienced by working class and middle class women in suburbia. I could feel Beth's excrutiating boredom and frustration, which could only come from women writers. Bravo girls.

The show is called good girls…not criminal girls. It’s Appropriate the show ends once Beth realizes she isn’t “good”
