This video definitely deserves multiple viewings since there is such variety. It gives me ideas about which hoya to get next......except so many sites have most of their hoyas “sold out”.
Wow! That is an amazing collection. I lost count at 5 because I was SO impressed with all your plants and wanted to focus on them instead. Hoyas are my favourite plants. I have had a Hoya Carnosa for over 40 years. That was my first and have just recently started adding more plants to my collection. A Hoya plant care video would be wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing. 👌🏻
So glad that you mentioned Doug from Vermont Hoyas; he is the true master and the go to for UA-cam viewers. I just found your video and subscribed right away. With your great collection of hoyas and dischidias you are the young master. Next on my list is all your other videos!
Yes absolutely, I started getting into Hoyas mainly because of Doug and his videos were inspiring and so educational. Thank you so much for your support! 😊
I am a new suscriber. I don't have any hoya, but I enjoy watching your collection. I am from Japan and my obsession is orchids like many Japanese people. I realized leaves are as beautiful as flowers. Hoya has the same thick, meaty leaves.
Beautiful collection Stacey. Bought my first hoya in the last month, or should I say 2 x 15cm cuttings of Hoya Linearis. Cut one up to root in soil and left other to root in tupperware container within a humid environment to see which more successful. So pleased both lots rooted and are pushing out new growth . Have mounted the one from the tupperware container in spaghnum moss on bark and I am loving the way it hangs down my wall!
Please do a hoya care video! My hoya australis kept losing its little leaves and wasn't doing well. Watching your videos inspired me to give it constant humidifier treatment. It's only been a week but she is doing much better. Her teeny new leaves are looking green and there are signs of additional growth. I also received a tiny hoya carnosa compact which I read is a slow grower. Placed her in a terrarium to see how she'd do. I've been checking vigilantly for the dreaded mealy bugs and would like to know of how you deal with them. Struggles and all. Thanks.
Hoyas are more viney than a full plant and I like a fuller looking plant. But I have to get a Hoya or 2 for my collection. I live in northeast Indiana USA so plant lights are a must. Your whole collection is beautiful like you.
Where do u find these amazing Hoyas??? I have about 30 Hoyas so far. So many wish list ones i can't find or afford. Your collection is the best I've ever seen. Stunning.
Your hoyas always look so healthy and clean! As i watch the video I'm online trying to find some of those hoyas. Just placed an order for five hoyas!!! Thanks for sharing! (Long Island)
I will look for a video where you talk about Hoya care but I am curious about the tiny rocks and lava on top of the soil. Is that for aesthetics only or does it serve a specific purpose? Thank you!
Your videos are so beautiful n relaxing to soul!! I have a question, I accidentally break my Hoya carnosa Verigata’s one tendon .. what will happen to it? Will it stop growing /trailing further or new tendon will grow from that point? Any idea?
Please tell me how you determine if the plant needs water when you have top dressing on it? I think I'm going to have measure the top dressing in order to help determine when plant needs water. . . Do I have too much on top?
Found your leca video.... Tell me more about the perlite... I have started some plants in it ...are you doing the same as leca...is it just top dressing??????
So beautiful! I would love to try a Hoya! Would you consider a video for a beginner? Which variety you would recommend? I need to start from scratch! Please please do a how to?
Great suggestion! I'll definitely keep that in mind for future videos. I would definitely recommend the Hoya Carnosa for beginners. Hoya Carnosa Krimson Queen or Princess and the Hoya Pubicalyx is also an easy one for beginners. ❤❤
Oh I think this may be my favorite video to date. My list is growing every second I watch. Can you recommend places to get some.of the rarer Hoyas? I am searching and having a hard time finding most of the ones on my list.
I will try my best to maybe put together a list of places where I purchase my plants from online but right now its very difficult to find Hoyas especially because the prices are through the roof and people are asking ridiculous amounts for them.
@@mypetitegarden I'm not sure what prices used to be, but they are definitely expensive. It is deft hard to find if not impossible to find the ones I'm looking for. Till then, I'll just admire yours. Lol! Thank you!
When you said that your Hoya Sunrise started as a small cutting, how did you get it to get full? I have some small cuttings, but I prefer a fuller plant at some point & not just have one stem.
So beautiful! I'm so glad I found your channel 🤩 what hoyas do you think are the easiest to care for? I have the queen and princess but obviously thinking of getting more especially after your video ❤️
Thanks! 💕 the Carnosas are definitely the easiest and I personally think any thicker leafed ones are less fussy than the thinner leafed ones because they tend to be a bit more succulent like.
Hi, I love your Hoya collection. I went to the website you recommended but everything was sold out🙁 Do you have any tips on when to order. A care video would be wonderful! Thank tou💕
I have a confession.... I’ve watched this video sooooooo many times. 😂

BINGE WATCH - I’ve become a big fan of hoyas, I can see why so many people love them. I only have 4, hopefully I can help them flourish 🌿

There are a lot of hoya care videos on youtube but not all are professionals or in the care of hoyas that long. You have to weed them out.

That Hoya chinghungensis is a stunner! How do you find its care to be like? Is it in the easier side or requires more care than others?
I will look for a video where you talk about Hoya care but I am curious about the tiny rocks and lava on top of the soil. Is that for aesthetics only or does it serve a specific purpose? Thank you!
