I saw this movie, on Turner Classic probably, and you are correct, it has quite the WTF quality. i would watch it again, it was interesting and kept you from changing the channel. The costumes, and the crowd scenes, and especially the disaster, have to be seen to be believed. There's nothing like a Pre-Code movie!
