My biggest takeaway at this stage of my career (it could change when I become an EM and listen to this again) is this : "Understand your role at every level you work at, relative to how you protect the revenue that the Senior Partner is bringing in." That said, I have some questions:
1. Is this governance structure the same at BCG and Bain?
2. If no, Can FC do similar detailed analysis on Bain and BCG?

Michael, on the communication side I found it tiring to listen to your usually fast speech it would be good if there's is some pause between segments of the speech.

However, we agree with you that keeping more pauses will be helpful and we will make this adjustment going forward. Is the partnership structure at Goldman Sachs or similar firms same as what you described in the podcast?

Hi Dhaval, Some firms outside of consulting may have some similarities, but it will not be the same.

Please also note that neither GS, McK, BCG or Bain are partnerships even though they use that term. They are incorporated where the partners’ capital is not at risk. Though they try to act like a partnership
