I have the same car and I know exactly what your talking about. I replaced all my coils but used "oem" ones as well as replaced the ICMS. Month later an ICM failed. So now I'm looking at doing the conversion... The sound clip of the smooth idle sold me. Thanks Eli
My s4 does the exact same thing on the slight misfire. Had already looked into the coil options. Great vid, thanks 👌

I would always use measuring blocks 15 and 16 (I think) which count misfires per cylinder. It'll count misfires at idle and acceleration (not on overrun obviously). Super helpful for tracking a misfire in real time versus clearing codes and scanning again.

Great video again. I had my hands on one of those intakes but got scammed and seller took my money. One day I will just buy new from O34. It really dressed up that engine bay.

Do the engine covers fit over the coil packs with this conversion? I know some don’t.
I believe they would if you used all stock hardware

Hey Eli, I'm currently trying to finance a b5 s4. And it's fricking IMPOSSIBLE. the one I'm trying to finance is 9500 dollars, and it seems like no bank near me wants to touch it lol. Did you just buy yours outright?
Banks aren’t going to finance anything more than 12 years old. You’d need to take out a personal loan which will be higher interest rate. Personally, I wouldn’t finance a B5 S4. You are going to spend so much on maintenance and then have a car payment on top of it. I’d look into other options for cars!!
@IgnitionTube I got my bank to finance it, just put a bunch of money down. Payments only like 80 bucks a month. The one I'm buying has new timing and water pump and rad and turbos and head gasket and axle seals and suspension. so I'm not super worried about maintenance for at least the first 12 miles lol.

@@IgnitionTube Ok good, cause when you let off and the turbos are going, as you described, "dwoooo". Might mean bad diverters, at least from the sound of the vid seemed like a comparable sound that I had when my DV went bad.
