- Today I am reviewing a great warm weather fragrance from Les Liquides Imaginaires. It is called Melancolia. This perfume was released in 2014. The perfumers are Anne-Sophie Behaghel who has been involved in many fragrances but as for ones I recognise, she has had a hand in fragrances from the House of Frapin, MCDI and Menditterosa. Amelie Bourgeouis has worked on Alexandre J perfumes, Rouge Smoking by BDK, and also Frapin and Menditterosa. Amelie and Anne-Sophie have their own fragrance creation studio called FLAIR.
It's an interesting fragrance which does take me on a bit of a journey. I really enjoyed the fragrance sample and will revisit again in the warmer months.

Not sure if you’ve tried it but since you mentioned fizzy and Gin, Lubin has a fragrance called Gin Fizz that’s really nice. 😊

I have only tried Fortis and Île Pourpre from this house so far. Fortis left me a bit meh, something that I have smelt before; however, Île Pourpre did interest me and has drifted on and off my buy list, just not sure it's worth the price. This house does interest me though💜
I like desert suave but the only one I have actually bought is Tapis Volant :)
I have sampled a couple of Liquides Imaginaires . Bloody Wood is one . That's all I remember.
I don't care for overly dry/dusty , at least right now , /green citric's. I just picked up a tester of
Guerlian's Limon Verde. The opening was like that, Glade . Fragrantica had it as an unisex, but it's not.
I have sampled , have samples of Heeley's Yuzu . Oh, Heeley, if only The Bells of Saint Clement's lasted. Wonderful.
Heeley's Yuzu does last , and I believe you are correct regarding the yuzu .

I have not tried Heeley! I just get onto their subscription list so I don't miss the international shipping deal- thank you for that!! What was blood wood like? I have been intrigued by the name, does it match the style of the fragrance inside?
