OMG! I thought I was the only one who keeps a spreadsheet of all the perfumes I have tried😂, with ratings and comments. I also totally agree that you should give the perfume a full day of wear to give it a fair review. I enjoyed your video.
You are officially NOT alone! It would be hard to remember the details of each sample experience if I didn't capture them somewhere. 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much!
Tony Iommi is the lead guitarist for Black Sabbath and after he lost his finger, he placed a metal prosthetic over his finger to continue playing for Black Sabbath. That's what gave the gritty unique sound to their music.
@@VeronicaSays I really didn't either. I only know this because my son is a guitarist and Tony Iommi is one of his favorite musicians. Wait until I tell him he is also a perfumer. lol
Hey Veronica! 👋🏽❣️ yes m absolutely loving this series 👍🏼 glad you loved Blanche Bete 😊 your description are always hilarious 😂 I have a few of these on my list to try but we’ll see 🤷🏻♀️
Girl!!! When you held up the bottle of Blanche Bête, I hollered! I did not expect that! Good for you for buying what you love. Its always exciting to find a fantastic scent.
Agree Delina la rosee is pleasant but as you said it’s a scent profile that has been done already and can be found at 7-10 times cheaper 😂. Personally I would not recommend you to splurge on PDM prices even if the bottle is lovely ❤
Ever since Blanche Bête came out, I've been very curious about trying it. Love lactonic scents. BTW, Tony Iommi is the guitarist of Black Sabbath. Maybe he's a bit of a fraghead. I've been wanting to test it out too. (I've been a metalhead longer than a fraghead...). Was laughing my butt off when flashing subtitles saying you'd probably buy it anyways came on the screen as you were saying you didn't really need that fragrance. I'm sure a lot of viewers can relate to that! Great video. Thanks! 😉
Hi Catherine! 🥰 If you love milky fragrances, I would say Blanche Bête is worth sampling. Thanks for the note on Tony Iommi! Gosh. I should have Googled that ahead of the video. 🥴
@@VeronicaSays I was weirded out the first time I heard of this fragrance. I don't really think of Metal and fragrances having somekind of a crossover. It's pretty funny. Btw, you nailed ''cuir''. I know, it feel odd to say kweer...
@@VeronicaSays No idea about the connexion. Maybe he was a fan of a few of their fragrances and they offered to make him one and market it. Supposedly, Gérard Depardieu (French actor) has his own personalized fragrance that he only wears. Kinda like the original L'interdit for Audrey Hepburn.
I really like Blanche Bete. I have a nice size decant. It reminds me of an Horchata and the Methods Rice Milk body wash. It’s definitely full bottle worthy. I absolutely enjoy this series!
I think the Dia decant you got is fine. I have a full bottle and yes, it is a soapy aldehyde metallic scent. Personally, I absolutely love it - classy and timeless and clean. It’s definitely not for everyone! 😅
You did such a great job reviewing them - straight to the point & in a diplomatic way 🥰 I was so close blind buying Iris Malikhan, but I already have a nice niche Iris + leather perfume, so now I'm glad I postponed. About Santal Basmati - it's 165€ for 50ml here in Europe, so I'm on a lookout for a better deal, especially if it's on a lighter side..
I always enjoy hearing your opinions 🥰 Followed is a fragrance I really love. However I couldn't imagine smelling like coffee but I love spraying my decant in the car to wake me up in the morning 😃
You are a very honest reviewer. I must say that MFK 724 , to me, follows the clean girl aesthetic. Another reviewer said if you wear it you will smell like a clean goddess and I had to buy it. I will wear it with a clean crisp button up, faded but classy jeans and sandals while shopping or brunching outdoors. Blanche Bete smells like hairspray to me.
Thank you! I can only share my impressions at the time of trying it, right? Hope you love your bottle and enjoy it thoroughly! I like your pairing plan! 🥰💖
I have smelled Remeber me by Jovoy. And really liked it right away! Blanche Bête did not move me the way I thought it would. Too bad. But Dom Rosa smelled wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing, Veronica!❤
I love Remember Me! Soooo good. 💖 I know you don't love Blanche Bete. Seems people either love or hate it. Sharida said in the comments that a Millesime version of Dom Rosa will be released. Ooooh! 👌👌👌
Sugared Patchouli though 😂 Perfect decision in my part for not getting a full bottle right away 😅 Glad to hear your thoughts on Iris Malikhan… almost blind bought it based on the reviews saying it’s an iris gourmand, but good thing I sampled it first.. What About Pop has a spicy mid and base that makes it unique as far as a popcorn scent goes 😊 not as long lasting and as projecting as I expected though… Really interesting how we smell fragrances right ? I lot of people get strong florals in Blanche Bete… it was very faint on me … i got another sample vial, and I’ll compare how it is 😊 but i know i will still love it 😅 i hate that it is so freaking expensive 😅
Hey Paola! 💖 Oh yes, let me know your thoughts on the second Blanche Bête sample. I'd be curious to know. Iris Malakhan is wonderful! Don't let me deter you. I just don't need it. Spoiler alert - I ordered Iris Poudre by Frederick Malle. 👌👌👌
I'm not sure which Dia you tried, but I personally own Dia Woman and I adore it. It's a clean aldehydic scent that also has some underlying floral notes. It's my boyfriend's favorite scent on me, and he doesn't use any fragrance at all. In my opinion, it's a mass pleasing fragrance
Morning beautiful 🌹☕️👀 You crack me up with your descriptions 😂especially when you say “but it’s not a bad thing”! Makes me want to smell the fragrance even more 😳😬😆
Lol! The eye twitch when talking about the longevity of Amouage Dia! I was mad when I bought Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli but it has grown on me and I love it! What about pop! is fantastic! I don't wear it often but I love it.
Ooooof! Dia was here to stay forever. I probably need to give that one another try. I was rather harsh with that one. 😩 What About Pop - yes. Can't see wearing that one daily but wow is it delicious!
OMG, I’ve received my bottle of Blanche Bête today and I am completely stunned! My husband loved it! You’re so right, it’s not like Xerjoff’s Italica at all, it’s absolutely magical. It is at a higher price range but considering its sillage and longevity, a little goes a long way. It’s the kind of fragrance that makes me feel special ❤
@@VeronicaSays Ooops, sorry, I was talking about Blanche Bête by Liquides Imaginaires. I guess I was so enchanted by it that I forgot to mention the name 😀
Yes! I have been searching for a replacement for Levandes Trianon and nothing has that frothy milk note. Libre and Mon Guerlain Intense just doesn't have it. I'm gonna get my nose on Blanche Bete ASAP! BTW Love Don't be Shy gives me a warm tortilla vibe like Starlight does for you. At first I thought my sample was off but it was the same straight from the bottle. Delina La Rosee is that girl. The only Delina I would ever own.
Hey lovely! 💖 Yes, definitely sample Blanche Bete. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! I'm laughing about the warm tortilla. Some of the comments make me wonder if people thought I was saying that in a bad way. Hey, I'm here for a warm tortilla! 🎊🥳🥰 I like that smell! I'm waiting for La Rosee to go on sale and then I may pick up a bottle. So good!
@@VeronicaSays Hey! Did you know that you have an exciting giveaway on telegram? 😉 You're probably aware already but fraudsters are sending out messages. 💗
Nice review. I purchased Kerosene's Followed as a Christmas gift for myself and really enjoy it. My husband said "do you really want to smell like coffee?" YES 🤣
Hi Nichole! 💖 Yes, treat yourself to a good coffee fragrance or whatever scent you love! Your husband sounds like mine. He thinks most gourmands are too literal. 😂
I've tried a decant of Dia and had a really different experience with it, so I suspect your sample might have been off. What I get in the opening is a vintage-y powdery aldehydic fragrance that reminds me of women's deodorant. Not my favorite stage. Then it dries down to a really expensive floral soapy/shampoo-y base that's lovely. It give me clean classy woman vibes.
Hi Taylor! 💖 Thanks for sharing a different point of view on it, and your description sounds much more pleasant than my experience with the sample. 🥰 I'm here for classy woman vibes!
🤣 skanky crème brûlée has to be the only time I’ve heard that for anything. Vanilla Royale is a love for me that layers well with a lot of things, but patchouli also doesn’t make me run like it does for most people. All of my Bonds have been deeply discounted, so totally with you on having a high bar to clear past a certain price point.
I really can not wait for my bottle of Blanche bete to get here. Sharida always brings out some hidden gems in her videos, heard her first talk about it. Glad you like it also, sounds dreamy😍 Totally feel you about Creed prices. Jomashop usually has excellent discounts though, got wind flowers for about 190$, which was like almost half off.....
Hi Prisca! Jomashop comes through with the discounts, right? Love that website! $190 is much more in line with other similar fragrance lines. I hope you love Blanche Bete! And yesssss Miss Sharida makes my wallet quake. 😂😂😂
26:19 I thoroughly enjoy Ruby Red. The initial spray (to me) was harsh, but then it softens up fairly quickly and dries down to a tender, sweet ginger. I tried the sample a few times, and the full bottle arrived yesterday. And yes.. the bottle is beautiful. 😍 I also have What About Pop, but don’t enjoy the powdery dry down.. just my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️ *I’ll keep it for the bottle, though.
Hey Veronica, thank you for the great video! I recently got HoO Ruby Red. I am a huge ginger fan and try to get as many as possible. I blind bought it, and upon 1st spray I was super disappointed, because it's so close to Hugo Boss Deep Red, that I thought it would be redundant in my collection. I sprayed it all over, and thought it gone after some 4-5 hours - another disappointment. Until the evening shower, some 8 hours later. I kept sniffing that soft spicy tender white floral scent, and had no idea where it's coming from. Turns out it was me, my skin. That fragrance, stayed on skin for over 12 hours, soft and unbothered. The next day I tried Deep Red, and while yes, the profile is very close, the blend and the feel are completely different. Deep Red is sharp, even screechy, compared to Ruby Red. I will keep it, and use it freely. I will probably not repurchase, but I will enjoy it while it's with me.
Hi there! 💖 This is amazing! Thanks for much for sharing your experience with Ruby Red! Sounds like it has a lot of merit if we just give it a chance. 👍👍👍
Yay!! I'm so glad you got Blanche Bete!! It is soooo dreamy. Thank you for all of your thoughts on all of these...I swear we are close fragrance twins! xo
Thanks so much for your fragrance reviews. Starlight was a no no for me. It became more of a masculine scent on my skin. Even my husband said that. Thank goodness for samples! I absolutely adore Micaleff Ylang in Gold. It’s fabulous, a delicious scent. I can smell it on my skin for hours. Got lots of compliments.
I'm so excited to wear Ylang in Gold Nectar, which I bought a couple of weeks ago. 💖🥰 Thanks for the note about Starlight - that's helpful to hear. 👌👌👌
I like to describe Blanche bete as fluffy 😂 I love it…and it’s a conversation piece when I wear it. The sillage is beautiful when I pass people they kind of look like what was that? But in a good way 😂 Iris malikhan is another favorite of mine it’s a dusty aromatic scent to me love the video!!
Hi there! 💖 Fluffy is a great description. I love a good compliment getter - thanks for sharing your experience with Blanche Bête! Iris Malikhan is definitely pretty. 👍👍👍
I forgot to actually comment on the fragrances - I think Delina La Rosée is so lovely, along with MFK’s A La Rose, but the PdM is better. Both are so pricey though. The Kayali Vanilla Sugared Patchouli is on my list to try. The rum note at the top could put me off - liquor notes are almost always a no for me. And I also have Blanche Bête on my list to try. I like white florals and I like lactonic fragrances - will I like them together? We will see!
Yes, they are DEFINITELY pricey fragrances. Keep your eye on jomashop.com. Sometimes they run great sales on a specific brand. Would love to hear your thoughts on Blanche Bête! 💖💖💖
@@VeronicaSays Ooh I don’t know that shop! Thank you! There’s a great boutique in the city close to me that Carrie’s Liquid Imaginairs, House of Oud, BDK, and so many other niche houses so I might go smell there first before ordering a sample of Blanche Bête - will definitely let you know!
Hi Veronica., I already had Kayali Lovefest burning cherry. I brought the travel essentials 3 in the pack., I personally am not that Great a fan of Vanilla 28-Eden Juicy Apple-Lovefest burning cherry, just about everyone hyped the fragrance. Blanche Bete I love it myself very pricy maybe another 8-10ml maybe I brought from Maxaroma., I love your Videos and how you Describe your fragrances., DecantX is having a Sale until the 27th I believe, thanks for sharing 2-25-2023❤👍🏽❤
Thank you, Marilyn! 💖 Let me run over to Decant X and stock up on everything I don't need. 😂 Kayali has a huge following for sure. Best to sample for yourself as you are doing. Have a fantastic weekend.
Blanche Bete is amazing! Definitely a toe curler lol. So happy that you got a fb. We’re twinning 😛 Yes please for this series! I really enjoyed it! 😍❤️
Wow, some of these sound amazing and I love your descriptions as always!!!💜💜💜Yes I don’t know how Creed could possibly be worth what they charge (at least judging by the ones I’ve smelled)😅 Awesome rundown, beautiful!!!👍❌⭕️❌⭕️
Wow, wow! You are definitely discounting a lot! I have just started on that bandwagon after so many terrible, blind byes. I am jumping into trying before buying for sure. Definitely agree with a lot of your feelings about many other fragrances, I first tried on decants ruby red, which I absolutely loved and gotten myself a full size bottle. It works great on me not the biggest projector, but it’s still a beautiful fragrance and I love the ginger that fragrance. And also Blanche Bete made to the collection after trying ❤❤❤
Hey gorgeous! I'm still a fan of blind buying but WOW! These bottle prices get scary. 😩 It's fun to sample a bunch and "scratch the curiosity itch." Ruby Red is definitely pretty. Glad to hear it works well for you! 💖
Oooh. I wanted to know your opinions on some of these! I have a retraction that I need to do about the Sugared Patchouli - I'm loving it, and after letting it sit, the performance has gotten better. I was 100% sure you'd love Blanch Bête!!! Hurrah! :)
I'm still kicking myself for not picking up Starlight when it was heavily discounted a few weeks ago. I'm currently obsessed with this fragrance! Meanwhile- yes- I completely agree that Ruby Red fades far too quickly. I've run into that with a few of their fragrances. Thanks for another great video!
I have a Hard time with the Delina tart note ,although I quite like the rosee one Blanche Bête sounds lovely 🤩hahaha you got it 🤦♀️ This was great Hope you are having a great weekend ❤
I'm so interested in Kerosene. I got some samples a few years back, but couldn't find Follow or Followed samples under £9/1ml from an etsy seller 😢 Love this video and your descriptions 💖
Awesome video! You covered some good ones here! I absolutely love the new Kayali, and I’m one of those who recommend Creme de Cuir. I really loved it as it warmed on my skin throughout the day… wore it a few days in the fall and can’t wait to wear it again in spring. I think the fruits come out more with some warmth. 💕
Great video and also inspiring me to be more thoughtful around my plan to keep collection under 45. I’ve decluttered a lot and my rule is, I have to LOVE it on me and if the fragrance exists in a 30ml, I’ll buy it in that size. (MFK has most in 35ml). I did purchase Iris Makikhan in that size and it’s one of my only Iris fragrances and also edgy and different enough. I can’t get enough of sandalwood, and have enjoyed Santal Basmati for bedtime. I agree on Gentle Fluidity Gold! But please try Encore from Teo Cabanel! At 30 ml price point it was worth it and my nose is responding in the cozy, warm carrot cake vibe they intended it to be.
Thank you so much! 💖 Yes, buying smaller bottles is ideal if they are available. 👌 I have tried Encore and several others from Teo Cabanel - lovely perfume lineup all the way! 🙌💯
Great Video Veronica, I don't buy niche, so I prefer to spend the 10 or 20 you'd spend on a sample on a full bottle of perfume. Bearing in mind I'm good a choosing the combination of notes that I like and don't deviate much into trends and popularity. My spend range is 10 to 60 maximum. Out of 200 perfumes I've bought over 3 years, only about 5 of them were duds that I passed on to others who wanted them. So that's how I managed my collection without becoming a liability.
Hi Amanda! Sounds like you have a great system worked out for yourself. BTW, there are lots of websites in the states where we can purchase decants for well under $10 each, and even more when they run sales. It's a fun way to try a lot of different ones. 👍👍👍
Such a good series Veronica, I loved your funny descriptions. About the Creed, do you know Franck Boclet Vanille? It's a fraction of the price and I like it very much.
Yes earthy dark patchouli! I agree! That’s exactly how the kayali smells not weird at all lol , ( yup I pass on the expensive ones you mentioned lol citrus herbal vanilla? Bland? No way not worth it! (I don’t need my mind blown away but for the price they ask, my head better spin 🤣🤣🤣)
Omg there are so many on this list I want to try! Kayali Vanilla Royale is one of my favorite fragrances of all time 😂 I'm getting a back up 🤣 It's like a sweet gourmand with sexy leather. I get zero fruit haha!
That fruity weirdness was only in that initial blast, but like overly ripe rotting fruit. And it worked somehow 😂 I love a good leather, too. The Rasasi is Somow Al Rasasi Ma'ali. Not identical, but some similarities.
@@VeronicaSays thank you! I will definitely look into this one! For me there is a huge blast of rum and oud. Wonder if Rum is made from fruits bc that would make total sense!
May I ask if Gentle Fluidity Gold was a fragrance that you acquired because you felt you could not live without? I know that is one of my filters;) (to avoid and do self-care aka not hoard).
@VeronicaSays good to know because my parameter at present. considering I am not a Reviewer, has to be an acquisition based on uniqueness and the kind of effect that makes you feel like you cannot live without smelling the beautiful notes.
I tried both Follow and Followed - waaaay too much for me - both of them... They stick around for days, if you spray them in your house. But interesting house for sure 😊
I have tried Blanche Bête a while ago but I just couldn't experience what was described 😐 I think that while I do enjoy lactonic notes, I can do so only when they do not exceed a certain degree. Santal Basmati on the other hand is such a calming experience and I enjoy wearing it very much!
Hi Zakia! 🥰 You're not alone. A lot of people cannot tolerate Blanche Bete. I am tempted to pick up a bottle of Santal Basmati, but it's still a bit too steeply priced. Or is it? 🤔 We'll see! 🤭
Good video! I have all Kayali except that apple one primarily bcz I was annoyed the bottle is red, but the fragrance is green apple jolly rancher. Ugh. I love their vanilla royale. I’m obsessed with amouage Material. Scents with notes powder, violet lose me, they just seem dated. I don’t own any Creed, I agree with your assessment, I personally haven’t found a unique enough scent that justified the cost from that line. No one talks about MFK GF silver, everyone talks GF gold, but I prefer GF silver.
Janice! I'm trying to resist buying Material, but you've piqued my interest again. Sigh. I might need to just grab it. 😂 Like, why not, right? I'll try GFS one day soon. I forget about that one, to be honest.
Oh dear, there has been so much hype about Blanche Bete that I had to come back and ask you this: does it smell like Xerjoff Italica? Or is it in the same line? I did not like Italica and I am afraid of bying Blanche and hating it. Thanks so much for taking your time to share your knowledge with us 🙏
Loved the video. Thanks for all the info. Do you remember which Rasasi you have that reminds you of Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli? Thanks again and have a great weekend. 😊
I tried Xerjoff’s Tony Iommi Monkey Special in Neiman Marcus. NOT a safe blind buy. I wish I got all of the boozy, sweet and spicy notes that people talk about. Unfortunately all I got was an animalic leather. To my nose, on skin and tester strip, it smells like Tony Iommi on stage with his guitar, under the hot stage lights in leather pants, sweating profusely. He’s probably been on the road for a few days already and hasn’t had time to bathe properly. If you’re into that dirty leather smell then this would be a safe blind buy for you. Haha Everyone else, sample first. BDK Creme De Cuir (I own this one) is a MUCH safer blind buy leather. So smooth. Inviting. 100% unisex. Beautiful. Backup bottle worthy, for me.
Hi Juli! 💖 Oh Em Gee! What a description! 😂 We don't want to smell like a sweaty stank guitarist three days into the tour without a shower. Agree on the Creme de Cuir - I'm enjoying that one!
@@VeronicaSays It’s certainly a smell for someone special. 🤣😂🤣 The lady at Neiman Marcus agreed with me but so many people online swear it’s a wonderful and delicious scent. So it clearly works for some people. 😂 Good luck everyone! 🙌🏻
Hey Vee, this lineup was fantastic!!🤗💕💕 “A very many lot”👌🏾 my favorite line of this video😂🤣 Buttery smooth is the perfect descriptive for Crème de Cuir I enjoy it sooo much! Monkey Special is one I intend on sampling this year as well. Blanche Bête…….IMMEDIATE YES!!🤤🤤
A very many lot = a whole gang of something 😂😂😂 I'm super interested in Creme de Cuir. I remember you saying you loved it! Same with Blanche Bete. She was like, "You're gonna love me!" Jennifer Holliday version. Okay????
Hello Veronica! Great video. So true about sampling, niche can be very pricey, sample sizes may be too small and you can't get a good enough wear. I bought Molinard Vanilla fruitee sample, then fb, love it but it's fleeting, Had I bought two samples, it would have been better. I get whiffs only. I think I'm anosmic to it. Their reforms, all took a significant hit in performance; live and learn. First and last bottle buy. I'm not paying for water, despite reasonable prices. Btw thanks for reviewing frags as you have them listed, I skip ahead or listen twice. FOLLOWED* not as popular as OG. Have read lots of reviews that compliment the scent, but note that its a beast, and forget about spraying on clothing. I've got FOLLOW on my sample buy list. Yes, the house history is v.interesting, and the perfumes are diverse. Saw a video on "the smell guy"/Sebastian, with the owner. Love, love, love iris/violette, and latonic centric perfumes. Zara Violette Blossom, one of my favs. Fresh Cream, Philosophy (both varieties) are must haves. The Cashmere is less latonic, more sweet, and the shower gel scent lingers in my shower. ***The body cream lasts overnight.
Hey Francine! 💖 Oh I love Fresh Cream, Warm Cashmere. I wish I was better about wearing lotion, I would totally buy that one! Yes, I hear that Kerosene is beastly. I recently purchased three and I could smell them as soon as I opened the box! 😯😯😯 I'm sorry the Molinard didn't work out. I thought you loved that one 😔😔😔
Wow, what an interesting video this is, please do more of these👌👌. Vanilla Royale was love at first sniff for me but I will unbox it when it gets cold over here😍😍. I absolutely love Dom Rosa and I have to start wearing it soon🥂🌷. Blanche Bete is on my wishlist 😍😍 but Bloody Wood was too much for me and I didn’t any pineapple from Crème de Cuir🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I bought the M Micaleff calendar last year so I got a 30ml of Soleil Passion, travel sizes of Ylang in Gold, Ylang In Gold Nectar, Glamour, Note Vanillee and Note Vanillee Nectar etc😍😍. I also sampled most of The House Of Oud fragrances so I need to prioritise🤔🤔. It’s always great to hear your thoughts on these sampling sessions👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Hi Pinkie! Sounds like our thoughts align on many of these. I forget that it's still warm in the southern hemisphere and will just now start to cool down some. You have a lovely collection to pull from! 🥰💖
Creed, do you think the beautiful bottles are a big part of the price or no? I used to grow iris, had collection of about 10. Loved the beautiful flowers but hated the smell. They reminded me of marzipan, stale and dusty, yuck. I've loved perfumes that had iris in the middle though, didn't even know it was there. I have a few fragrance YTers that I watch bc, as you said, not everyone enjoys the same scents. What you few all have in common is stage presence. You all are fun to watch and give your honest opinions. I really like the series even though I'm not on social media. I wouldn't know if a scent is blowing up or not. I also don't care if I smell like everybody else but for the people who want to smell unique it's good to know. Thank you for your time, money and effort spent. 💐
Hi there! Certainly, some brands use higher-priced raw materials, more expensive atomizers, and more expensive bottles. I know enough about manufacturing and marketing to know that it's less about the more expensive materials (which, in bulk, don't justify the hundreds of additional dollars) and more about the perceived exclusivity and demand for the brand. People pay up to feel they have something luxurious in hand. Just human psychology. And I don't knock it! I just have my own limits with spending on any singular bottle. I'm so glad you enjoy the fun and humor of fragrance with us! It should be a joyful and lighthearted topic. Thank you soooo much! 💖💖💖
I find these types of videos so helpful! And your descriptions are especially helpful, they really get the idea of each fragrance to translate to my brain Lol I have placed a couple of sample orders lately, and Blanche Bête is one of the ones I’m getting! I’m pretty hopeful that I will like it, especially after you saying it reminds you of Psychedelic love, because I love that one! And you mentioned a similarity to Lavandes Trianon which I also love the vibe of, (just found it a little too sweet for me) I don’t typically plan on buying full bottles when I get samples, for me I just really want to smell them! I’m so curious and I want to be ‘in on it’ when everyone’s talking about them! Lol Even so I tend to buy all spray samples and no dabbers these days so I can really get the full experience of it 😊 Of the ones you mentioned, I only have samples of 724 (which totally reminds me of either Cool cotton or Warm cotton by Clean) and What About Pop .. which should be totally up my alley, I love salty sweet combos and popcorn notes, but I found the sweetness absolutely nuclear and it had and overwhelming smokiness… Definitely will play around with it more though because it’s a scent profile I would typically like. I really appreciated your descriptions of Vanilla royale, Soleil passion and Material, because I’ve been going back-and-forth about whether to get samples of these ones! 🙏🏼🥰
Hi Tammy! 💖 I'm glad you enjoy this type of video too. To be honest, I, like you, sample to be in the know because I am NOSY and have FOMO 😂😂😂 If it amounts to a full bottle worthy sample, awesome. If not, it's totally okay to have experienced it, like you said. Would love to hear your thoughts on Blanche Bête when you try it. It's certainly been super polarizing! I am on the fence about Material. Still thinking about it a lot.
You featured 2 of the perfume I own (724 and Delina La Rosee). So, I did get a sample of the 724 and didn’t like it. Two months later, I sprayed the sample and fell in love with it. So, I had my husband get me a bottle over Thanksgiving when Saks was having a big sale. I used it a lot in Dec and Jan. I have a love and hate relationship with 724. Some days, it is beautiful and ethereal. Some days it is straightforward masculine with heavy on metallic smell. It is just so odd. I have it on today and it gives me a comforting feeling. Very weird. Anyways, I highly recommend you get a 10ml decant and try to wear it for a week. Maybe you might understand what I am talking about. Delina La Rosee is booootiful. I got it last year and almost half full. I try not to wear it as much because it is expensive!!! That perfume makes me feel girly and brightens my day. 😂 Also, I remember in one of your other video that you have gotten Rouge Malachite. I also have that perfume. The scent is beautiful but not in a girly way but more womanly. I love it. Hope you’re enjoying Rouge Malachite just as much I do. 😁
Hi there! So far I am loving Rouge Malachite, as well as Vert Malachite. Both are gorgeous! I can understand what you're saying about 724 - I have that same kind of flip flopping experience with some others in my collection. I'm hoping to grab Delina La Rosee later this year on sale. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 💖💖💖
Tony Iommi is a guitarist for Black Sabbath. He loves fragrance & helped create the fragrance. He’s British and well loved!

@@sandysullivan3098 Didn't know that either. I'd love to hear the story behind that name.

Haha! I had to have it. It's a love or hate for most, but I needed a bottle. 💖💖💖
You look so beautiful with your simple and clean make up. I always love your videos because you dont always follow the hype. ❤
Thank you so much!🥰 It's Natasha Denona Triochrome on the eyes. I get caught in hype myself but I always share my honest thoughts 💖💖💖
Agree Delina la rosee is pleasant but as you said it’s a scent profile that has been done already and can be found at 7-10 times cheaper 😂. Personally I would not recommend you to splurge on PDM prices even if the bottle is lovely ❤
You are correct. I would never pay the full price. It will show up on sale soon enough - they usually do! 🥰💖🥰💖
But they smell so good and on my they last I am a PDM fan for sure but I never buy full price...well I did on a small Delina 🥰🤣
Creed is DEFINITELY overpriced. Purchased all of mine for deeply discounted prices. And the packaging is just offensive for these prices IMO lol.
Not offensive?! 🥴😂 Yes, deep discount is the only way to go with Creed. 💯💯💯
@Catherine Brisebois (Cat Woods) I think it's kinda cool! 💖 Wonder what the connection is for Xerjoff though.
@Catherine Brisebois (Cat Woods) that would make sense. Gosh, would love to know about Gerard's fragrances!
Happy Saturday Veronica. Now to watch.
Hiiiii Faith! 🥰💖
I really like Blanche Bete. I have a nice size decant. It reminds me of an Horchata and the Methods Rice Milk body wash. It’s definitely full bottle worthy. I absolutely enjoy this series!
Thanks so much! Yes, great description of Blanche Bete. Rice Milk body wash? Ooooh sounds GREAT! 🥰💖
I think the Dia decant you got is fine. I have a full bottle and yes, it is a soapy aldehyde metallic scent. Personally, I absolutely love it - classy and timeless and clean. It’s definitely not for everyone! 😅
Thank you, Makeup Minx! 💖 Glad to know I wasn't all the way off on that one. And glad you love it! 🙌🙌🙌
@@VeronicaSays although I’m super swayed to but Blanche Bete now 👀👀👀
@@makeupminx6103 definitely try before you buy with Blanche Bête. Some really hate it!
“A rotten, skanky fruity crème brûlée” “doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing” love your optimism 😂😂🤣😅 It sounds very polarizing. I haven’t tried this one
You know I love a weird fragrance! I'm usually down to try it at least a few times. 😂
I hate all Kayali fragrances. It reminds me of mold. Musty. All of them... It's in the DNA.
Hi Sanne! 💖 Thank you so much! Both Iris Malkhan and Santal Basmati are quite nice. Worth checking out! 👍👍👍
I always enjoy hearing your opinions 🥰 Followed is a fragrance I really love. However I couldn't imagine smelling like coffee but I love spraying my decant in the car to wake me up in the morning 😃
Hi Nicole! 💖 aawww thank you! Love the idea of Follow used as a pick me up in the car - brilliant! 💯
Ooooh! 👌👌👌

Haha! That smell is undeniable! 😂😂😂
I sampled Followed on paper and was turned off lol… seeing this video made me take out sample and try on skin and I actually love it lol.
It's funny how that happens! I've been surprised that way too. Sometimes reviews help you notice a fragrance differently. 👌💯
Ok now I have to get Blanche Bete. Everyone loves it. Loved this video. ❤
Hi Jackie! 💖 Wellllll... some folks in the comments find it nauseating. If you like lactonic fragrances, it's worth trying out!
I've wanted Dom Rosa for about 4 years now. BTW, Bloody Wood is what they call the wood barrels that red wine is aged in.
Hi Ruth! 💖 Oh thank you for this info. What a bizarre name. I've been to many wineries and never learned that, but it makes total sense. 👌👌👌
Delina la Rose is so princessy, I feel beautiful when I wear it :)
It is so good! I purchased a bottle. 🤩🥰
I really love this series! As a sample addict I can say you nailed both the joys and perils of the sample addiction!
Hi there! 💖 YESSSS sampling is fun and addictive but expensive over time AND not foolproof. 😩
Sugared Patchouli though 😂
Perfect decision in my part for not getting a full bottle right away 😅
Glad to hear your thoughts on Iris Malikhan… almost blind bought it based on the reviews saying it’s an iris gourmand, but good thing I sampled it first..
What About Pop has a spicy mid and base that makes it unique as far as a popcorn scent goes 😊 not as long lasting and as projecting as I expected though…
Really interesting how we smell fragrances right ?
Thanks for sharing your experience with Dia, Pei! 💖
Morning beautiful 🌹☕️👀 You crack me up with your descriptions 😂especially when you say “but it’s not a bad thing”! Makes me want to smell the fragrance even more 😳😬😆

Hi Bella, which fragrance are you talking about?
@@VeronicaSays Ooops, sorry, I was talking about Blanche Bête by Liquides Imaginaires. I guess I was so enchanted by it that I forgot to mention the name 😀
@Bella L Oh! How wonderful! Yay! I'm delightful to hear that it worked out like a charm! 🥳🥳🥳
Nice review. I purchased Kerosene's Followed as a Christmas gift for myself and really enjoy it. My husband said "do you really want to smell like coffee?" YES 🤣
Oh definitely yes.
Hi Nichole! 💖 Yes, treat yourself to a good coffee fragrance or whatever scent you love! Your husband sounds like mine. He thinks most gourmands are too literal. 😂
Gotta agree about ruby red! I really enjoyed the bottle and the smell but it only maybe lasts 30 mins on my skin and I can't smell it anymore!
Awww bummer! Yeah, same here. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!
Oh gosh, your eloquence just blows me away every f time!!!
Awww thank you so much! 💖
Blanche Bete is dreamy…I love a good lactonic scent! Great video series Veronica!
Right?! It's super good for us lactonic lovers. Thank you so much! 💖💖💖
Yesss! If you want a car payment for a fragrance, I need it to make me levitate. 😆😆😆 I was digging the skanky creme brulee! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I really can not wait for my bottle of Blanche bete to get here. Sharida always brings out some hidden gems in her videos, heard her first talk about it. Glad you like it also, sounds dreamy😍
Totally feel you about Creed prices.
I also have What About Pop, but don’t enjoy the powdery dry down.. just my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️ *I’ll keep it for the bottle, though.
That's wonderful about Ruby Red - thanks for sharing your experience with it. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Veronica. ❤ The dilemma of fragrance lovers.. so many fragrances and so little time 😂

It's fantastic if you like that caramel popcorn vibe! 🍿
Hi Veronica, thx for your list! Question: is Blanche Bet also suitable for men?
I think anyone can wear any fragrance. That said, Blanche Bete leans rather feminine to me.

Hi Breanna! 💖 Girl, I am close to just getting Creme de Cuir and bumping out one the current leather/suede ones.😯 I may just get it.

No, not for those exorbitant price tags. I'm going to need to see stars 🌟 or something to make it worth that coin. 😂
Omg there are so many on this list I want to try! Kayali Vanilla Royale is one of my favorite fragrances of all time 😂 I'm getting a back up 🤣 It's like a sweet gourmand with sexy leather. I get zero fruit haha!
Ok you gotta drop what fragrances remind you of this fragrance. I am dying to know! 🥰
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup that could be EXACLTY it! Hadn't considered that!
May I ask if Gentle Fluidity Gold was a fragrance that you acquired because you felt you could not live without? I know that is one of my filters;) (to avoid and do self-care aka not hoard).
Hi Alma! 💖 I can live without it. It's not mind-blowing or anything. Just a really lovely all-occasion vanilla. Great question.
@VeronicaSays good to know because my parameter at present. considering I am not a Reviewer, has to be an acquisition based on uniqueness and the kind of effect that makes you feel like you cannot live without smelling the beautiful notes.
I don't blame you! 👌👌👌
I tried both Follow and Followed - waaaay too much for me - both of them... They stick around for days, if you spray them in your house. But interesting house for sure 😊
I can totally understand that! Kerosene frags do not let go. They hug you for LIFE. 😂
The lazy eye-roll @ Dia Amouage 😂😂😂 - couldn’t help but LOL! I always look forward to your funny reviews!
Haha! When I saw that in the editing process, I was shocked that only one eye rolled! So weird! 🥴🥴🥴
Thanks so much for taking your time to share your knowledge with us 🙏
Not to me. Very different fragrances. That said, not everyone loves Blanche Bete so do sample it first. 👍👍👍
@@VeronicaSays Well, I’ve decided to pull the trigger and my Blanche Bête will arrive at my doorstep next week. I’ll keep you posted.

Yes, it has similarities with Somow Al Rasasi Ma'ali. Not identical but similar vibes.
Tony Iommi is the guitarist for Black Sabbath. ❤❤❤ 🎸
Thank you, Jackie! 💖

So true about sampling, niche can be very pricey, sample sizes may be too small and you can't
get a good enough wear.
Btw thanks for
reviewing frags as you have them listed, I skip ahead or listen twice.
Love Blanche bete!! My bf seems so love it as well!
She's a beauty! 💖💖💖
I adore IRIS MALIKHAN! It is really not mass appealing, because it is a bit harsh & not warming. Edgy, maybe. Like it for this especially❣️
Hi Esther! It really is a pretty fragrance. I didn't get any harshness, just a lovely iris that got creamy in the dry down. Very good! 👍👍👍
I have been buying from the House of Sillage at 60% off.. they are beutiful!!
Which ones are your faves?
I find these types of videos so helpful! And your descriptions are especially helpful, they really get the idea of each fragrance to translate to my brain Lol
I have placed a couple of sample orders lately, and Blanche Bête is one of the ones I’m getting! Lol Even so I tend to buy all spray samples and no dabbers these days so I can really get the full experience of it 😊
Of the ones you mentioned, I only have samples of 724 (which totally reminds me of either Cool cotton or Warm cotton by Clean) and What About Pop .. which should be totally up my alley, I love salty sweet combos and popcorn notes, but I found the sweetness absolutely nuclear and it had and overwhelming smokiness… Definitely will play around with it more though because it’s a scent profile I would typically like.
