Nice to listen to Ananda Bhairavi..in all its details and grace.. scientific precision..a typical MDR Sir's presentation....with a depth in the voice..and loved the swing in ananda bhairavi ....! His swaraprasthara takes us to a blissful state. So monumental kriti -'O jagadamba nanu' in Ananda bhairavi . Though its a sampoorna ragam, its still not a Melakarta due to the presence of vakra prayogam and uses anya swarams is handy for singing with the usage of Shuddha Dhaivatham (D1) in some phrases of the ragam; three anya swarams are Antara Gandharam (G3), Chatusruti Dhaivatam (D1) and Kakali Nishadham (N3). that occur only in prayogas (not in arohana avarohana). MDR is good in using popular Aananda bhairavi patterns - "sa ga ga ma", "sa pa", and "sa ga ma pa" Here the vocalist who invariable sings all songs with the best of her eloquence n mellifluous tone did present her rendition with the Chittasvoram beautifully....Charanams 1 sung, with the svorasahitya melodiously....Good recital....Best wishes...
