Noel is that a Cricket Pitch in the middle of that field? Man I hate that your prop got chipped. That had to play into your hesitancy to give her the beans on takeoffs. I think you'll really enjoy it with a new prop and no cameras in it. They really hurt a gliders performance, but we appreciate the views!
Yes it is Adam… one of 4 there. Great open space to test out any aircraft. I have flown & tested many jets there. Glider should go well when properly is replaced. thanks mate👍👍
Hi Aussie! ASW-17 is a great glider.❤ Heavy in the hand but nice in the air. Let me recommand to you : full throttle mandatory for taking off. Put backward your battery, my Rx is under the wings so many space in cockpit is released for Lipo 4S 2200 30c spektrum. Better to put up flaps at the end of landing. With my settings i can glide 21 min with 3 min of throttle. JPhilippe. France.
Well done & great advice my friend. It is sooo heavy to balance at launch, especially with the power on for an old guy like me, but once it is up a dream to fly. I will have the set of folding props here this week( only need the left one) should be great to go. Regards
Hello . If you put backward your battery it will be better you can trust me and less scarely when you take off and clean when you land.😅 Other point. Becareful if you land on the beach. In airtake, under fuselage, could get humidity... And your ESC out of order.😢 If you program cambers on your TX and thermal settings you will glide for a while ; believe me. Forza Australia !!❤❤❤
Wow it’s huge. Very cool. Thumbs up 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Go job. Looks like a handful. Looking forward to the beach video.
Ohhhhhh it was a handful to launch Randy. She is s ‘big-un’ indeed. Should go well on the coast i think!
A great maiden flight Noel, such a shame the prop got chipped but maidens are a bit nerve racking...jeff.
I maidened my Arrows szd-54 today.....jeff.
Nervy indeed Jeff, but she will go well on the next flight i am sure. 👍🇦🇺🇬🇧
Very nice, nice collection too btw.😊 I’m not a fan of these foamy gliders but they’re good fun and get a lot of people into the RC hobby
Yes indeed. The Balsa ones are the best to fly
