I don't need infuenced. I'm here for the chit chat. I'm 65 now & very comfortable in my choices . I'm a very minimalist. The older I get the less I want around me. I've been purging for years. It feels good without all the stuff. I find myself calmer. You should wear what ever you want. I don't want to look like everyone else. Be yourself. That half tuck is just weird.😊
I’m purging too with an aim to downsize eventually. And yes we should wear what we want and like. Videos are just information that can be totally ignored. And you are very welcome to come and chitchat.
I love a half tuck. I do it all the time. I don’t have a waist so it gives some definition to my clothes I thoug being over tailored.
I just love your refreshing take on fashion delivered with good humour! In Canada there are so few retailers to choose from for plus sizes. Clothing manufacturers and retailers take note, please! We have money and want to look nice too, in natural fabrics not polyester. Thank you for letting me share my thoughts in the hope they will be read by clothing suppliers.
Love your honest delivery and the laughs I get from them, raw and honest. and I have learnt a few things from you, especially about underwear and I now wear only midi’s. Just with the sunnies (thats what we call them down under in Australia, which reminds me that our seasons are opposite to yours and northern hemisphere countries). Sunnies I can’t wear just any sunnies that match my outfits as I need prescription sunglasses, which are extremely expensive so therefore have to make do with just one pair.

Unfortunately we don't get warm enough weather in Scotland to wear shorts and straw hats. I do wear summer dresses though I'm not over 60 I'm in my 40s but find a lot of the influencer in my age group think they are still 25 or something so prefer over 50s influencers as the close are more age appropriate than a tub dress from sheen 😂

Oh, yes. I have resold a lot of my office clothes. Now tomorrow I have to do a presentation and wondering where my clothes are :) Actaully i would have looked dated if I wore old office clothes. Nope, I'm going modern smart casual with my current lifestyle wardrobe.
I would love to be able to wear sandals. Unfortunately because of a combination of arthritis and neuropathic problems in my feet I can only wear trainers with a deep toebox. Not all trainer wearers do so by choice.
I have neuropathy too. Chemo left overs. Winter is most painful for me. Heels are a no go especially in the winter. I feel your pain and am lucky I'm only affected in the winter. A deep toe box sounds like it would help me. I'll have to look and see.
I understand! We have to be realistic with our limitations. I go to physical therapy a lot and need to wear my sneakers. I do try and wear a lighter summer type sneaker going to exercise. We do what we can🤗
Have you tried the new Sketchers w arch extra support? I hv the arthritis in my arches pretty bad and although I wear rx inserts w closed shoes as you described, I can wear those at least a few hours a day.🙏
I haven't tried those Sketchers. I do love sketchers. I'll have to look for those ones.
@@donnabeckmann5125 Skechers are poor value for money, they are very thin in the sole especially under the ball of the foot and they scream "old lady" because so many women over 60 buy them. Don't. There are way better choices in other brands.
Thank you for the tips on applying self-tanning cream! I was going to try some this Summer but have had problems with streaking. I'll follow your suggestions. My only problem with most products is I cannot abide many scents and self-tanning creams often smell too strong for me. I will try to find a brand that is scent free!
I had your hair length one time I lost all my hair but my scalp is grey.So I will buy a wig your color. I am excited your hair is beautiful.
Thank you. Mine has grown back nicely after chemo and I'm keeping the grey. A young lady on a train last week came over and complimented my hair. Made my day. If you like I can look up my colour on jon renau as I bought wigs my hair color from there when my hair was thin.

Hi Ann Marie, Another fab video! 😊 Really love your content!!... As a larger lady (size 16-18) I am noticing that the shops are putting more polyester in our clothes... Even jeans!! M&S are guilty of this in their jeans!! I recently found out I'm allergic to polyester ...had a look at Tesco sale and had to rummage in each clothing item then read micro text🧐... it must have looked odd as a shop assistant asked what I was doing ....so embarrassing!!🤭.. will continue shopping online in future🤗
I am also allergic to polyester and a plus size of is so annoying when stores charge so much for cheap clothes just because they are plus size

If you have the patience and time you can get the odd thing on Shien but it does involve trawling through the mountains of polyester clothing or choose the material in the left hand column can save time but if there is a mix e.g. viscose and cotton they don't come up! I did find some nice trousers in the Asda sale btu you still have to check on the label ... and get your magnifier out!🧐the print is tiny!!
yes polyester looks cheap and it dates, plus it's uncomfortable to wear.
I wear bermuda shorts that have a bit of length, and even then I only wear them at the beach or resort towns

It's easy as its not obvious in a mirror. You might not add the bag and sunnies til later so you don't see the effect. And sunglasses are tinted so you don't see it even in a mirror.
Tried Wild and as its a deoderant but not an antiperspirant i still was sweaty.. sorry! Smelt nice though😊
I will wear a white top or any light coloured tops, but never white or lighf coloured trousers. White jeans or light colour ones are very unforgiving unless you have very slender lega, knees, thighs, etc. Dark or black jeans are much better to hide flaws on your legs.
Natural materials are a good way to not look tacky, have breathability, and BE KIND TO THE ENVIRONMENT! And while we’re at it… please recommend cruelty-free products! Also, I have feet issues that mean I can’t wear open-toed shoes. It’s been a life-long struggle. I now have a nude color closed-toed that is about as delicate as I’ve ever been able to find. The key is neutral and airy, not clunky leather.
I have a video coming out in which I mention our own hindrances. Younger influencers don’t realise that physical aspects that hit us as we get older.
I don't understand how Wild will keep you from having sweat spots underarm. It is a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant so I expect it just makes you smell good as you perspire! I looked at the website, it clearly says "deodorant" with no additional explanation. It's nice it saves on trash and packaging with the reusable case but that is a separate thing from appearance and sweat spots.
It uses tapioca starch to keep dry. It's hot today and I'm dry 😀 so the tapioca starch seems to work at absorbing.
I do a lot of gardening and yard work. I end up with a farmer tan, but fake tanning kind of smooths it out. I do wear black sunglasses and they are prescription. They are expensive so I only have one pair. I do have medium/dark hair so I don’t notice a problem.

Dark hair and eyes, pale skin looks gorgeous in red. (I’m a redhead, avoided red for decades, but now will wear deep coral because “When I am old, I shall wear the colour…whatever I like!”)

yes avoid them, they scream "old lady:". Nicely cut pants are more classic and flattering.
Those micro shorts really aren't even pleasant on the young. I don't want to see what soneone has had for breakfast...UGH. Be a bit discreet.
