Do you have to wipe over the surfix hd with water before you use the pearl or it will streak , the reason why I watched your video, just cleaned my car interior with surfix, tmrw want to make the plastics shine with pearl just wondering if I need a damp towels to wipe dashboard ect before car pro pearl
I would of been inclined to hot power wash or steam the bay down to remove the Surfex HD, then dry it off. It appears that you are using good microfibre cloths to wipe down a dirty engine bay which would result in you disposing of the cloths?!
The idea of the video was to show people a way of cleaning your engine bay if you have limited equipment and sometimes people are a bit wary of using steam or jet washing the engine bay. I agree with you about your suggestions. With regard the cloths they was only cheap ones.

My personal preference is to use a damp cloth after using the surfex HD then a wipe over with a dry one then apply the Carpro Perl.
