I’m super excited to collaborate with Anna Sarol for this new series! Videos on top of videos have been filmed to display our lifestyle as a paraplegic and quadriplegic. Lots of content scheduled and planned for upload in the next couple of weeks and I can’t wait to show you guys!
Different transfer styles:
1.Hoyer Lift (A crane-like device carries individual using a fully-body sling)
2.Two-Person Transfer (Two people assist with transferring)
3.One-Person Transfer Board (Assisted, moves across the board. Board acts as a bridge from wheelchair to surface.)
4.One-Person Pivot Transfer (Assisted transfer without board or any device)
5.Standby Supervision (No physical assistance but is present for precaution)
6.Independent Transfer Board (Has good trunk control and upper body strength, board assistance)
7.Independent Pivot Transfer (One swift lift can be done independently and safely)
Background information:
Anna- T10 Complete SCI (Paraplegic)
Alex- C5 Complete SCI (Quadriplegic)

Is it me or did she move her legs a bit?
She did but I’m assuming like the quadraplegic guy, she has very little ability to move her leg. She probably still can use it, but not to the point like a person who has full mobility of their legs
most paraplegic is not totally paralyzed. Just very weak, reduced muscles etc
