because they're using 3rd party software. they didn't make a bootloader, they didn't make a compiler toolchain, they didn't make a filesystem doubt that they understand the internals of these things anyway. this is more like putting together a lego set
yo bro i want to contribute to the linux kenrel and make my OS as well, I am learning C as of rn but I need to learn more. Do you know any resources and guides? I always wanted to contribute to open source projects and make low lvl stuff. Thanks :))| P.S. How did you learn all of this stuff? P.S.S: I use arch btw.
Great guide is UA-cam it is awesome if you’re going to copy and paste code make sure you know what it does before you move on people from upon pasting, but I think it’s OK as long as you know what’s happening
Hey love the vids man I’m really wanting to get into Linux I’ve only used windows my whole life how would you recommend getting into it as someone who’s completely new? How was it that you got into Linux and how long have you been using it.
I’ve been using Linux for probably 2 years now and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for beginners I recommend playing with some easier to learn distros like Linux mint or Debian, Ubuntu or pop before you dip your toes in arch. also I suggest before you switch fully to Linux on your regular system I suggest running and testing it on a virtual machine to see if you like it best of luck!

I would say stay consistent with your programming and build projects like a os or malloc or compiler etc

@@eprograms I am thinking to make my own malloc actually. I might do it since it would give me a good understanding of memory and stuff like that!
