    If you don't plan to do anything other than have the collector point straight ahead, you can use a fixed hardpoint to cut out the material need for a cradle and turntable.

      How to connect it without the turn table?

    I saw some kind of tricky setup with 2 lasers and one ore collector on the same turret. It would be great to watch your guide about assembling this thing.

    Just wanted to say that the ore collector doesn't drain battery power unless it is actually pulling in ore. So I just always have it on.

    is it possible to somehow make the collector not collect ceartain materials like ice? or to automatically eject them as soon as they are picked up?

      Sadly not yet. For now you will still have to right click and delete any unwanted ores after they’re collected. I’d love to have an ore filter attachment though! Or a “delete all of this type” option.
