EmergeNYC 0.7.0 - New Vehicles & Graphics/Lighting/Weather Overhaul Preview

- This week we are aiming to publish 0.7.0 in the testing branch. One feature we are very close to demonstrating in our next video very soon is the RTS function which will allow AI to drive other units to the scene for you. As you will see in this video the game has had an extreme graphics make over including lighting, weather, day/night, and 5 new vehicles including a new Tower Ladder, Engine, and 2 NYPD Vans. May will be a big month for the project as we get some really new exciting features and updates out. April did not go as we hoped due to many unforeseen issues in our personal lives but we are on the verge of wrapping up 0.7.0 finally with some long awaited new features, bug fixes, and additions. Stay tuned as we will be showing off the RTS system we have been working on very soon! Hope you all are excited!

Nice! Tower ladder 68 looks great! Shouldn't it say FDNY instead of FIRE on the side and back of the truck though?

AJ Deere T680 Yes it is! It’s from a 2014 FDNY seagrave. I also sent him another one that I took from a 2016 kme engine..really wish he’s going to put it on engine 49!;)

Cool. Was thinking about sampling some horns for Raf too. KME horns are the best. Also I like ALF horns

From this video, you guys have came a long way! Something I am noticing though, and you'll probably make this batter, but the colors are a little too loud, as in they are too bright, like the white on the Van, and the Yellow in Times Square.

it looks great but the lighting still needs some touching up the amber lights on the trucks look like the have too much bloom you can really see it on the buildings in times square other then that it looks great

Does the game have a proper gamepad bindings yet? I mean gta-stylish, so that you can adjust camera with the other stick.
O.G Autistler WASD for driving is sh**. I would like to use xb1 controller just like gta v. The camera adjustment shoud be on the right stick, not mouse only.

What makes me sad is that theres no PA300 on engine 49 now
u should add realistic street vehicles like dodges lambos and others and add murders or illegal street car meet ups were exotic cars show up
and u should add other states wit different price

FlipSwitch Games hey can you add the function to add two controllers so I can use a steering wheel and pedals? Also you can’t crawl any more.
camera needs to have like a fixed place in 3rd person like triple a titles, not just be jumping around with the slightest move. Yes I do get its still in alpha stages They should really work on one thing at a time so fix ped models get the cleaned up and get the gear and tool to fit properly, then the cars "Incl civi vehicles cause they still look like driving boxes from back in 2003. No offence since you guys are a small studio.

Just saying why are u adding more cars, when the game is so laggy it doesn’t even work for 2/3Ed’s of people?
try upgrading your graphics card. I got a computer that runs 35fps on this game on Fantastic graphics (ultra) and doesnt lag much.
Thanks but found out the reason why it was so laggy for me, I reduced the size the game look on the screen if that makes any Sense.
