Thanks for the tutorial. It reinforced that I was on the right track for some of my own building ideas. I really hope Hello Games brings back the legacy parts for us newer players. Some of the old parts look so much better than their current counterparts.
I hope so too! I have legacy parts for freighter but not for planet bases for some reason, which is embarrassing, original base parts had concrete parts can you imagine??
@@maydibordesign The wood and metal looked dated, sure, but the vibrant colors you can get from concrete? removing that was an actual crime. If you're on PC though you can just use a save editor to unlock them though. Thats what I did and I also picked up the singularity engine feature for the freighter as well cause why not

I just got this game a few weeks ago ...now I can't stop playing it. ( Except when work and sleep gets in the way). I just started getting a few ships ...I have one small base that looks like it was built by someone doesn't know what they were doing..
@@maydibordesign honestly , I bought this game a long time ago for the PS4 on sale ..I probably played it about 30 minutes and never tried it again. So I decided to buy it on sale on steam and try it again after the new update. I don't regret it at all..
This inspired me a lot thanks man.. One question, if you build this, when you buy a new freighter, can you still move all these base to the new freighter as it is?
