I have this exact gun. I will occasionally have issues with no powder coming out and it’s usually related to my powder not the gun. I’ve noticed that some of my powders seem a bit clumpy and my guess is humidity has got to them. Also if you let the powder get too low in the cup the fluidized nozzle in the cup just swirls the powder instead of sending it out. I set my regulator at about 20psi and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever adjusted that, aluminum block control valve on the bottom I think it’s just set to wide open.
@@RedlineStands I’ve had it for about 3 years. I’m just a hobbiest coating my own parts for my builds so it gets the job done but it lacks the adjustments of a high end set up. Also it helps if you drive an actual ground rod into the ground and connect your parts to that and then put the ground clip on the copper rod. That helped dissipate a lot of charge in some of the faraday areas.

Thanks for the info. Are you happy with this gun? How long have you used it?

@@BillCantley That's a great idea! I'll do that.
Did you really not know why you were being shocked?
Nope...
Aren't those plates grounding plates or something?
That's my guess, but truly Idk. Good thing I put my disclaimer in there and told everyone I wasn't a pro and didn't exactly know what I was doing.
